When I saw her last February, I had one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a physician. While I was waiting in the exam room, I could hear her loudly speaking with a nurse outside about a missing chart. She then walked into the room and opened with, "Excuse me, I must be going crazy." That's not exactly the kind of thing you want to hear from a doctor who's about to diagnose you--especially when you're already feeling vulnerable and unwell. I had visible symptoms and had bloodwork done, which she reviewed and told me everything looked "normal." Without much examination, she touched my scalp, said I had dandruff, and prescribed me a treatment for it. As someone who owns a hair care company, I knew I absolutely did not have dandruff--and that this was a much deeper issue. I ended up seeing a different doctor outside of PIH, who actually took the time to properly review my labs. Turns out, my iron was dangerously low, my B12 levels were too high, and there were several other red flags--none of which Dr. Perdue had mentioned. After following a proper supplement plan, my symptoms fully resolved within two months. My advice: be cautious if you decide to come here. In my experience, the care was rushed, dismissive, and dangerously inaccurate. Misdiagnosis is no joke.

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a provider. Being a provider myself, I found his…read morelack of bedside manner atrocious and unprofessional. His main focus of the assessment was not for my needs but discussing why I was 'estranged' from my religious faith. He told me that I should have not married my husband who is from a different faith, and was questioning why my children are not baptized. This was my first ever encounter with this physician. When completing a depression screening and asking about my libido, he stated that I was waiting for my husband to divorce me. He stated that I needed to stop breast feeding so he could prescribe me a different antidepressant that would increase my libido and that my "husband would thank me." Had I been in a different field myself and be very impressionable by medical staff, this appointment could have truly caused damage to my personal life.

This clinic is in clear violation of basic standards of care and possibly even patient rights. They need to be investigated by the department of justice and have criminal charges filed against them. Every single time I come here, I'm forced to wait at least ONE FULL HOUR past my scheduled "appointment" time--and I'm not the only one. This is a constant issue for every patient I see waiting alongside me. People have other jobs, responsibilities, and commitments, and this blatant disregard for our time is unacceptable. Enough is enough--either fix this or shut your doors. This kind of service should not be allowed to continue.

As soon as my insurance told me she was an in-network doctor for me, I knew she was going to be my new PCP. I was seen right away. (maybe 15-20 min in the waiting room?) Thuy spent plenty of time with me, addressing all of my concerns and asked if I had any other questions. She also said if I ever needed anything, I could always just call. It made me feel like she really cares. Everyone at the office is extremely efficient; they always get back to me within 24 hours if I leave a message. FYI: they don't draw blood at the office for fasting labs so don't come in hangry for your annual check up. Ask them to send the lab order to your insurance's designated lab so you can schedule blood draw at your convenience. I highly recommend Dr. Ha to anyone looking for a caring PCP!!!!!
