    Cider with crepes. Who knew?
    Brian H.

So hungry as I type this out... for what you pay, the crepes are excellent, and apparently where you can find the elusive ratatouille crepe. The one I got was ratatouille with hamburger, a combination that was new to me. It was very hearty, definitely a meal by itself. Of course we got the Nutella one on the way out as well, which was basically stuffed with Nutella... for like 2 euros. Also the first time I had cider with the crepe, which I'm told is obligatory in the area (or that might have been just at a certain creperie, regardless I decided to try). The cider we got was called Cidre de Normandie Brut, and went very well with the crepes. I've been keeping an eye out for it in the US.

This hole-in-the-wall local creperie is one of the best creperies in Paris. My favorite was the ratatouille crepe, price: about 5 euros. Other crepes are even cheaper, but this ratatouille crepe was filling & is a meal in itself. Cheap & delicious! You can order at the window or sit inside, the upstair seating is very cute. Its very close to the Place Monge metro station, about a 5min walk.

Crepes. Lots of great places but this one was especially good for a grab and go freshly made crepe.

My favorite creperie in all of Paris. Delicious, affordable, and fun, largely due to the staff and space. A must for any local or tourist.

The banana and nutella crepe was outstanding! If only we'd thought to ask for strawberries as well!

She ate a banana and nutella crêpe like it was her last meal - fully mowed down the crêpe walking up Rue Mouffetard....

This is a hard review because, on one hand the crepés were quite delicious--I ordered a chestnut…read morecream which I liked but was done with midway through and a butter and sugar which was fantastic and I could have ate many more--but it was the only place on my Paris trip that clearly ripped me off and didn't correct it when I questioned the server. I had ordered those two crepés, black tea, and a little milk for the tea. This should have only set me back about 20ish€ in total (the crepes were about 6-7€ and tea 5€). I was charged 37€. As I paid at the register I asked the server (in my halting French) "is it really 37€? That doesn't seem right." She shrugged and said, "Oui, 37€." While I didn't want to make a big deal out of it--nothing like being the raging American in a country not your own--I unhappily paid and chalked it up to an inevitability: every overseas trip it has had this happen once, where the language barrier seemed like an excuse to cheat. This was my one in Paris.

Pricey fresh hand made crepes!…read more Husband and I came here twice. First time for the chocolate gran marnier, another time for the Brazilian. Our crepe creator was very friendly and cool, I like how they kind of put on a show when they make them, our crepe was purposely light on fire. :D If you don't don't like the taste of alcohol, I don't recommend the Brazilian, the rum was strong!
