The doctor does not want to fill out discharge paperwork so your mother or father can go to the nice home or community that you chose for them. The case managers don't want to order durable medical equipment for your loved one. All the while yelling at everyone to get them out of the hospital. I've never had such a horrible experience with case managers. The daughter was extremely unhappy with the care, but I can only report what I experienced firsthand. This is not a hospital that cares about our seniors.

I was able to get an appointment pretty quickly, within a few days with Dr. Carrie Hess. Upon arriving the staff were quick to help me check in and were very friendly as I waited for the doctor. Doctor Hess pretty immediately let me know it was most likely plantar fasciitis because of the area where I was experiencing the pain. She did offer to take x-rays to confirm it wasn't anything else but they can't really see much on the x-ray besides a bone spur, which was actually kind of interesting to find out. She suggested a steroid shot and we were able to do it that day pretty quickly. It wasn't too painful but there was a little pinch. I was a little surprised she didn't give me more in terms of a treatment plan, but I think that she may have just expected that I kind of knew what to do after. She did say, if the pain reoccurs to return but I wasn't really sure what to do to prevent this from happening again. Luckily, I haven't had much pain. The morning after was the first time in months I'd woken up and not had to hobble around my house in pain. Thank you!

I met the first two and they were nice enough, but the moment I walked through the door of Dr. Nelson's office I knew this was the place for me. Audrey and Leslie at the front were very nice and welcoming and throughout the entire process did a great job following up and reminding me of appointments. Meeting with Dr. Nelson we talked about what I wanted, and he took the time to explain to me my options and what he recommended. Very easy to talk and he tells you like it is which is important when it comes to setting realistic expectations. The day of the surgery I was nervous because this was going to be a procedure where I was awake the entire time instead of being put under like I was the first time around. When I got to the office Cristina and Dr. Nelson did a great job of helping to settle my nerves and the surgery itself ended up being a breeze. Now I waited 6 months to write this review because I wanted to give me body time to heal so I could write an unbiased review. All I can say is THANK YOU to Dr. Nelson for a stellar job. Recently I was on hold over 10 minutes. Eventually a person came on the line and said they were receiving a large volume of calls and asked me to give her the information and somebody would call me a little later and set a appointment. 30 hours later no one had called. Suggest management review this area for improvement Two years later, there has been no improvement in telephone answering service. If anything ability to answer calls in a reasonable period of time, say five minutes is apparently a business decision of management. If calling be prepared for a long wait to make contacts.
