My first visit to this arena was to attending the National (Jamz) Cheer competition. I found this event space to be clean with great seating and several restrooms nearby. Overall, the experience was fine as the seats were more comfortable that most stadiums with nice padding. As for the concession offerings, they offered the variety at most stadiums but it looked kinda sad and overpriced. The place was well staffed and staff was cordial and friendly. First time here for the Love Affair concert and really liked it. Easy to park and free parking too! Lots of staff around to help you when you're not at the right door or area. Plenty of concession stands to enjoy food or drinks. Know that it's a concert, it's not cheap for food or drinks. Good size venue and we were in section 103 row M and enjoyed the full concert. I loved seeing the Trans-Siberian Orchestra here in December 2024! There is not a bad seat in the house and all views were great! The place is a nice size and the stage offers so much set-up for movement, lighting, and special effects. I would definitely come back and watch another show here. One thing: Parking was very challenging and there seems to be limited parking so if you are attending a show here arrive early to park and not rush to your show. Many people seem to hangout in the casino/restaurants after the show so be prepared for some crowds/to wait if hanging out for drinks or food. read more

This is the first time we actually attended an event here. We were suppose to attended a concert last year here but it got cancelled. Overall, we were not overly impressed with this venue. We had bought our tickets back in June 2025 for the Ehrlich Brothers Diamond - Mind Blowing Magic Show in October 2025, and when we went to find our seats we learned that one of the 2 were no longer available and covered since they figured the view was severely obstructed. We moved over one seat and eventually they uncovered the seats. No one contacted us a head of time and they didn't tell us when we scanned the tickets that there was going to be an issue (1 of our 2 seats were unavailable, and we were not going to go all the way back out to the box office that had a long line) . I will give the staff credit for trying to resolve the problem that was created by the promoter. If you see any show here make sure to get a straight view. The side seats not matter how close are disappointing. Overall, we didn't have the best experience and the show would have been much more entertaining and fun had we had a better view. Parking was easy and free. Probably will not return to this venue. read more

I went here recently for a TSO concert. My only concern is the stairs to get to the arena. However, there is handicap accessible entry ramp with elevator. I did not use it because luckily I don't need it. There were vendors available before and after the concert. The steps are a little treacherous but there are handrails. However, that doesn't stop you from spilling beer (happened nearby) but luckily the person did not spill it on me, but did spill some of their beer on someone's shoes. No fights broke out though. Other than the potential food and beverage issues, it was a very good experience. The concert was great! Spectacular light show including pyrotechnics during the concert. Not too loud. My seats were very good. One improvement I would like to see applies to every arena I've ever been to... I wish seating allowed people to pass without having to stand up. read more

This review is mostly based on the security for the arena. We showed up for the USA strongman competition this past Saturday. When we purchased our tickets, there was nothing in writing about restrictions on bags or purse sizes. When I went through security, I was told my bag was too big even though it was a small Crossbody bag that was less than 2 inches thickness and no more than 5" x 12". They had a little paper cut outs and my bag was maybe a half inch outside of the perimeter. They told me I could not bring it in and would have to leave it somewhere. I explain to them that we arrived in an Uber so I had nowhere to go put it. They said I can go leave it at the hotel front desk. I said absolutely not because that is not secure. I even offered to let them look inside the purse to make sure I did not have anything. I should not have inside. The female security agents and supervisor were rude and obnoxious. Finally a supervisor worth talking to came by and he let me in. Orleans Arena needs to make sure that people know in writing restrictions on purse sizes when they purchase their tickets or before they arrive. They also need some customer service training for their security guards. read more

We came here for the Hot Wheels Monster truck show, and it was awesome. The arena is beautiful, comfortable, quaint, not overwhelmingly large, and clean, and the polite, and friendly vendors offer delicious, quality food, and spirits. The view is good, no matter where you sit in the arena. For me, this is the absolute most ideal place for any event. Being able to see the show from any angle, anywhere in the sitting area is a definite win-win. read more

I went to the Orleans Arena for the Love Affair concert. Parking was free, and the staff was professional and complimented my outfit. The floor seating is large, and upper-level seats appear to provide a good view of the stage from anywhere. I highly recommend getting a floor seat. Orleans Arena is twenty-one years old, so it's not a modern venue. However, what it lacks in modernization, it makes up for with free parking and an adequate setup for enjoying a show! read more

Nice setup overall for this event but you can tell the arena is aged and not up to 2023 standards for sure. Sound is ok, not great. I'd guess several thousand seats and a large floor area. Would be good for a rock show with plenty of floor space in addition to the stadium seating. Parking was good but security felt a little disorganized and their equipment couldn't scan the digital tickets. Had to try 4 different users before they found one that would scan the tickets I received via email. Only a slight delay but still annoying since they want to do everything digital. read more

Great place to watch an event. We saw the uninspired Henderson Silver Nights get beaten 0-4 by the San Diego gulls. Star knocks for a few reasons. 1. The time of the event kept changing. 2. Relatively impossible to obtain printed tickets. 3. $750 for 7 tickets at a game with 22% capacity attendance. Seats were second from glass. Staff members were nice, and the place was clean. To be fair, much of the HSK roster is Russian and I'm sure they are fearful for the welfare of their families back home. read more

The nicest sports arena in Las Vegas. Everything here is simple. You can park right outside the arena and walk in. The box office is open a few hours before events. The arena is super spacious and the concourse doesn't get too overcrowded. All of the seats, except for suites, are all on one level. You'll have a great view for sports. It's too bad there aren't hockey games held here regularly anymore. Everyone knows this arena has the best and most reasonably-priced concessions in town. You can get a decent amount of food for $20. I've been going to the Orleans Arena for years and it's time to show some Yelp love... The events I've attended here included: Arena football (Lingerie League), College basketball tournaments, hockey games (LV Wranglers) high school graduations, and numerous concerts. The Orleans Arena is well designed in regards to their seating, acoustics, and amenities. There's never really a bad seat at the Orleans Arena. The Arena's capacity is 9,500 seats so the experience is always pretty intimate. For local reference the seating capacity of the Thomas & Mack center is 18,776 and the T-Mobile Arena is 20,000. The Luxury VIP suites are equipped with Flat screen TVs, a fridge and a wet bar. The best part is each suite has plush leather seats with your own personal balcony row to watch events. Fantastic. There are numerous bathrooms throughout and the Food & Beverage vendors are plentiful. You never have to wait long for either amenity. The bathrooms are clean and the overall arena is well maintained and feels new every visit. The staff has always been friendly and competent. The parking setup is great as you can park outdoors or in the garage right outside the arena. With multiple exits, you don't encounter bottle neck issues when leaving the Arena. The Orleans Arena is big enough to hold any major sporting or entertainment venue without the big crowd headaches at larger arenas or stadiums and you get a better view overall. We went here to watch The Vegas Rollers World Team Tennis. It was my first time st Orleans Arena. Wow!! What a place! Loved it! Easy parking very close. The facility was super clean and well cared for. So nice!! The service was great! Very nice door and drink offerings at reasonable prices. A little high, but not ridiculously expensive like other arenas. No smoking anywhere, which was sweet. Refreshing. It's easy to find your seats and the seats are very comfortable. Been here for a few events now and wanted to share. Easy in and easy out, I try to park in the garage because there is an escalator which takes you right to security. The ground floor near the arena is best. You're allowed to bring a sealed bottle of water through. Pleasant staff and lots of snacks and drinks available once inside. We have been here for a couple concerts and a graduation. Easy to find your seats and multiple restrooms available. Acoustics are good and events are usually cheaper here then on the strip. Once your done with your event, pop on over to The Orleans and give one of their restaurants a try. Plenty to choose from from fast food to fine dining. read more

I came to the Orleans Arena today for a Paw Patrol show with my family. This isn't the first time at the Orleans Arena. We saw the PJ Masks show last year in the Orleans Arena as well. Parking is a breeze at the Orleans Arena. There is so much to choose from, you have the parking garage and the outside parking for the arena. I typically do the outside parking since it's easier to score a spot and easier to get out of after the show. The Orleans is located off of the 15/Tropicana, a few blocks down. You can also take the 95/Decatur exit and drive down, or take 215/Decatur, and drive to to Tropicana, take local streets to the Orleans. Once you park, you have to enter Gate-A typically for the event. From there, you'll need to take the escalators up and go through a security check. After passing the security check, you'll be presented with a lot of different concessions and then the portal entrances to the Arena. Since we saw the Paw Patrol show, half of the Arena was blocked off. We did get a few different concessions such as hot dog, chicken fingers/french fries, popcorn, lemonade, and soda. Typical concessions food, nothing to really cheer about. We did have floor seating for the Paw Patrol show. I wouldn't recommend getting floor seating for this type of show. My daughter had difficulty viewing the show and often sat on my lap with her knees bent to get better seating. After intermissions, a low of families went to different locations within the arena, so she was able to get a better viewing area after the second half of the show. Once the show was over, we were able to quickly get out of the arena, and get to the car with very little crowds. I would highly recommend going to this arena. Though, if you're here to see a kid's show, I wouldn't recommend floor seating, but instead, spend less money and get the auditorium style seating. You'll be able to see the show a lot better! read more

I had tickets to see a major concert act at the arena for Friday November 29, 2024 at 3:00 pm. Knowing it would be busy because of the holiday weekend, I left extra early so I could get decent parking. To my shock and surprise, when I got there 90 minutes before the show, the parking lots were full or filling rapidly, resulting in what amounted to a traffic jam of cars looking for parking. I should also point out that one of the lots adjacent to the arena was closed off for some sort of event. By my estimate, there would have been room for several hundred cars if not for that other event. I continued to search, following all the other drivers until 3:20 at which point I gave up. There were also several lines of people waiting to get into the arena. This is a classic case of poor planning on the part of Orleans Arena. They should have known that the concert would be sold out, on a holiday weekend no less. And they probably shouldn't have booked the other event knowing the space requirements. To be fair, the box office offered me two seats in section 109, as far from the stage as possible. I had floor tickets 35-40 rows from the stage that I purchased through the TSO website, ultimately, Ticketmaster. The box office said they found no record of my tickets being purchased through Ticketmaster so they weren't going to honor them. Mind you the tickets I purchased came to almost $300 with fees. What they offered was $69.00 tickets in peanut heaven. read more

Orleans Arena is a solid mid-sized venue, with a lot of unique performances setting up shop here. The New Orleans theming from the hotel hardly bleeds over to here, aside from the logo itself. Acoustics, lighting, and seating ranged from just okay to pretty good. This arena opened in 2003, which is shocking. I could have guessed some time in the mid 80s. I personally like the retro aesthetic, but maybe not everyone does. Free parking was welcome. We were here for the Synchronized Skating Championships, and it was a nicely executed event. The bag policy was super restrictive and very frustrating. Bring a clear bag if at all possible. Security also hassled us about getting out quickly several times during the weekend, which was annoying. An arena that just gets the job done. Plain and simple. I'm curious to attend a concert here to see how it fares in those conditions. read more

Old, dated, tiny folding chairs on the premium main level, just awful management. Went for Mannheim Steamroller, the line to get into the arena backed up more than a half mile into the casino and took more than 40 minutes to get through. And this was with an (unfortunately) small crowd - facility was hardly a third full. Mannheim opted for (or was required) to use the house sound system which was grossly inadequate. Fortunately we were floor level and close, but I felt bad for anyone sitting higher up or further back. Just a terrible venue for concerts. read more

I am born and raised here in Las Vegas and I know far too much about the city! I know where NOT to go and what places are just not the ideal spot to be anymore. Orleans Arena is beautiful!!! BUT.......... has to be at one of the worst hotel/casino's in the Las Vegas!!!! Doesn't matter where you park. Parking garage or the main parking, your car is not safe anywhere around there BUT valet. Not everyone can afford paying a tip for Valet though. OK OK... I am here to talk about the Arena, not the S*** hotel/casino. I give the Arena 4 stars because its still a beautiful Arena, extremely nice inside and the outside isn't too shabby either. Seating was comfortable and it was pretty easy to access the seating from the walkways they provide for everyone. It's not a huge place to be in so seating really isn't that bad no matter where you might be sitting. Went and saw the Harlem Globe Trotters in the area and it was a wonderful program they put on for the kids. The arena was set up nice and our kids loved their experience there, as they always do. The kids have been there a couple times and each time has been great. 4 stars because its beautiful inside... lacking the one extra star because of the crap location and its surrounding crime. Remember, if you can... park in Valet!! If not, take everything out of your vehicles that might be of Value to you, if you have lo-jack/On-star/etc.. WONDERFUL!!! If you don't have any of that and you're going to park your car, your car is probably going to get broken into or stolen!! Don't say I didn't tell ya so!! During the day seems to be the time to go there, but be prepared at night for the ladies of the night to be prowling the streets hard with their pimps smacking them around right outside the casino on Tropicana! I took in the Mannheim Steamrollers concert Sunday night, the 26th. It was a good show. This was my first time attending an event at this venue. It's okay. Seating was fine, viewing angles, sightlines, etc. were adequate. I didn't use the restroom facilities or concessions, so I can't comment on those. However, I provided a low rating of the facility because the temperature in the arena was kept too hot and the arena was not full (no where near capacity). Kind of surprising, because I believe there is ice beneath the floor seating for the minor league hockey team games. Mr Olympia 2018 Event was so organized this year! Parking was a breeze, traffic in and out was no hassle, security was on top of it! This year they had electronic body scans to get through the event. The line moved swiftly and with precision. I also believe that its the attitude of the spectators that makes an event go smoothly. Fitness enthusiasts are a different crowd. We are all very 'attitude' friendly which makes for a much more enjoyable experience! Everyone is respectable and very friendly. I had amazing seats in section 103! The event was so organized, no lack of down time between different competitions. Three hours went by so quick, I wish there was more. 2/5/2022 - Such an awesome, fun concert experience. Crystal clear sound. A clear view of the stage from every seat. The seats are too close together (like the old movie theaters when you had to battle for the armrest with the cup holder lol) so hopefully, you are seated next to a nice person who smells good. The seats can be a little tight for the fluffy folks but generally comfortable even after three hours of sitting. I STRONGLY suggest placing slip strips on the slippery steep steps to get to the seats. We witnessed two senior-aged ladies in heels slip and an elderly man fall down while trying to walk down the long smooth stairs. PLEASE FIX THIS if you plan to continue promoting old skool concerts. The arena is easy to navigate to locate assigned sections and seats with helpful, courteous ushers ready to assist. Very expensive but lots of concession stands around the lobby to purchase basic venue food, beverages, wine, and beer. We will be back to party with the Ohio Players. SLIP STRIPS! I can't really give this arena more than two stars. We had a cheer competition here and arrived over two hours before my daughter was to perform. Well, we waited in line to buy tickets almost that whole two hours and would have missed the performance but luckily the company running the competition slowed it down because parents were missing their children's routines. Oh that's not all! I'll get to more in a minute. The Orleans was very unsympathetic to everyone. We had a choice to purchase tickets online but they charged an extra ten dollars a person. Not to mention they raised the prices at the door as well. I've never seen an arena so unorganized and ridiculous. There is a lot of parking here at this venue but the parking garage is pretty convenient. This used to be where the Pimp & Ho Ball location was held, for many years. Basically, that was like a giant rave in the area, with crazy & sexy costumes for people who wanted to dance or just be seen. Security was strict but nothing out of the ordinary. (Yes, I went to two of these events, back in the day.) Hockey games were played here. Many moons again, I am talking pre-Vegas Golden Knights. Many other venues were here like Disney LIVE, an excellent family attraction. We also saw a college graduation here some years back. Overall this is a nice arena. I used to think that it was huge (one can still get lost), but when comparing it to the T & M, Mandalay House of Blues, or the Hard Rock's Da Joint (tiny, intimate). (Visiting the T-Mobile Arena a couple of times, though, that is a huge beautiful arena, raising the standard.) Lots of bathrooms. It was clean when we visited. Lots of ample parking. (It is tough to get out of the venue and the parking garage when everyone is doing the same thing. Tip, leave early or just after the event ends.) read more

Orleans Arena is huge! Seating was very good. We went to the National Cheer/dance competition for my 8 year old great granddaughter and we had a great time. We didn't eat or drink so can't speak to that. Instructions given when you purchased tickets online were adequate but there was an issue with it downloading onto my phone ( they wouldn't accept printed tickets) but we were able to call and got instructions of what to do when we arrived and had no problems getting our tickets into venue. Very organized and they had metal detectors and instructions given with ticket purchase was clear on no backpacks and purses only see through purses of a particular size. Recently I've been attending Wrangler games here, okay maybe for the last couple years. I know my favorite seats and they are located either in sections 118 (seats 1-2), and 115 (seats 17-18). You save about $20 from the next tier section (sections 116 and 117), but you'll sit by the aisle, and have a good view of the game. It's not a packed arena so you can move around if you want obviously but if you want to purchase legit decent seats then this is your best bet. Call the box office to buy your tickets and ask specifically for these seats! You'll have to go to Will Call to pick up your tickets but it's at least by the entrance to the stadium. Go Wranglers! Nice solid arena! From memory I have seen a concert which was called "Old School Freestyle Explosion" which is basically all 80's and 90's pop R n B bands. Ok, I grew up in the 80's. Judge me all you want. I have also seen a Mythbusters interactive show special with my kids along with a Sesame Street Dance Show just recently which was the most boring thing ever. At least my kids had fun. Thats what it was for right? The kids. Plenty of parking and making your way to the arena is a breeze as well leaving is just as easy. Maybe its because it is not located directly on the strip. Compared to other arenas in the Vegas area I would say this ranks #1 with the Mandalay Events Center a close second. Worst ever would be the MGM Grand Arena. Refer to my review. Sound and lighting has been on point from all the times I have gone here. Just about anywhere you sit is a good view. Love the stadium style seating. Even the bathrooms are easy access. Of course the only negative things if there were such a thing would be the overpriced concessions but if you ask me that is normal at any stadium or arena. Just eat a good meal before coming here and you are set. Perfect place for a family night. We were invited by our friends to see a hockey game for a local school fundraiser and it was fun getting the kids out to finally see a live game. This was the first athletic event that I've been to in Vegas. I miss going to see the Phoenix Suns play and all the arena events back home so this was a somber reminder that I wasn't back home cheering for the Coyotes:( Military obligations are keeping us here and since the Nellis AFB is the largest employer in Vegas, the city makes a big effort to embrace the families and provide plenty of sponsored activities and discounts at arena games so I am definitely grateful to Las Vegas businesses for that. Back home we were spoiled with new giant flashy arena's and I spent most of my time in boxes courtesy of the company I worked for or as a guest. Lots of suites here too but we sat out in the arena with our group. Since the arena is not too big you won't spend a lot of time walking to get snacks or use the restrooms so that's a big plus. Cozy homey arena Very warm friendly staff Located in the back of the Orleans Hotel off Tropicana. Easy parking either covered garage or parking lot Hotel is connected to the arena so convenient for guests. Great vendors-the mini puffy warm donuts were favorites Typical arena food/snacks: hot-dogs, nachos, popcorn, cotton candy, pretzels. For the 700 review milestone, a local review was mandatory for me. The Orleans Arena is a great venue without the squished feeling. I wasn't sure what to expect when coming to the Orleans for a show. I was pleasantly surprised with their comfy seating in the U shaped arena, wide walkways and affordable concession prices. The areas are kept very clean as well. The arena is also equipped with a great sound system for shows and concerts. For concessions, I immediately smelled the delicious scent of fresh baked doughnuts. Too bad I'm trying to be healthier. But they looked fantastic and with the line I'm sure it is a favorite snack for many. You can also find Subway along with other normal concession food and drinks. The lines seemed to move fairly quickly which is also a plus. I definitely enjoyed the arena feel without the larger arena crowds. read more

I have been to Orleans Arena for a number of different shows and occasions. The parking is convenient and much more easily accessible than many other venues in town. I've seen everything from the circus to police dog competitions to my most recent visit for Trans Soberian Orchestra and each time no matter where I sit, our view is good and acoustics are as well. So many local events are held here so I find myself here pretty often and I'm always pleased by how organized and well-equipped the venue is. read more

8-25-17 I have seen Rodney Atkins and Boy George here. Also went to rodeo at this venue. Have noticed if you aren't close to stage the sound is bad. It sounds like a bad karaoke bar in the further from stage seats. You always need to spend the extra at this venue for closer seats. read more
