I went to the Clark County Amphitheater for the City of Lights Festival for the first time on April 25th and 26th of 2026! Attendees could park for free, and I loved the event! I couldn't ask for better weather: it was cool, cloudy, and breezy all weekend. The Amphitheater has a main stage at the front and a large screen to the left. The seating is on the grass or on concrete if you sit in the back, so they recommend bringing a low-back chair or a blanket to watch the concerts. I loved the picnic vibe. The VIP lounge had water, restrooms, seating, and charging plugs. They also had a wall to take photos in front of. I would definitely return to the Clark County Amphitheater! As long as the weather isn't baking, you should enjoy yourself! read more

We visited the Clark County Amphitheater to participate in the 2024 Las Vegas Brewfest on 10/19/24, with this being my third time attending. Having just completed my midterms, this was the perfect event to unwind after such a busy, packed week. My first and second time here, I had VIP tickets, but this time around I had general admission tickets because the price of the VIP tickets weren't really worth it. The Brewfest had lots of beer vendors (with many local breweries included, such as Able Baker and Crafthaus) and various food trucks. I lost track of how many beer vendors we visited, but we still had fun. I took my boyfriend with me, and this was his first time being here. A live band, a silent disco section, and DJ were also present at the Brewfest, with several local beer vendors surrounding them. The weather never felt so good for this festival. One food truck that made an appearance at the Brewfest was Empanada Factory, which we went to. I went to Empanada Factory for a Yelp Elite Experience last month and I had to try their delicious empanadas again. Many flavors were selling out quickly, but we managed to get a ham and cheese empanada for myself and a beef empanada for my boyfriend. These were incredibly delicious! The Brewfest began at 5:00pm for the GA (4:00pm for VIP ticket holders) and lasted until 9:00pm. We left about 40 minutes before the end just to beat the rideshare crowd, and getting one to and back was incredibly easy. read more

Love this venue!!!! Whether it is VegFest (thank you Carrie!), Reggae Fest, random beer festivals, or Wine on the Lawn... This place never disappoints. I might be bias because I only live a few moments away on Historic Alta Loop... but I would still travel here if it was not as close. Beautiful pavilion of grass makes it conformable to toss our fancy "place mat" out to lounge and relax. We have had many VirginCheeze and Wine bottles relaxing and listening to jazz. At VegFest we toss our mat in the grass and enjoy the wonderful speakers and music and enjoy bomb ass eats like Garden Grill buffalo chikn sandos and Panevino gnocchis. Reggae fests are always pretty packed but you get the idea lol. Security and restrooms are always on point. VIP areas tend to be located inside. We usually take Lyft but the parking situation is practically unlimited. Just might have to walk farther through the giant lots. Check it out on a great weather day... you will not be disappointed! read more

The Clark County Amphitheater is located right across the street from the giant World Market Center. This grass filled area was the stage for the 4th Annual Downtown Craft Beer Festival, while the beer fest left something to be desired, the venue was great. Plenty of grassy area to sit and easy access concrete walkways so you can avoid stumbling down the steeper areas of the grassy hills. The sound system is on point and no matter where you sit you can easily see the stage. The bathroom situation here is pretty sparse; with the only bathrooms being available being inside the semi-private rooms unless the event you're attending has provided port-o-pottys and even then let's hope they have rented enough. Great use of outdoor space and I hope to attend another event here soon. read more

This venue is great for people who enjoy outdoor lawn type seating for an event. I've attended a food festival, Reggae in the Desert, and most recently the Jazz in the Park Series. The coliseum-style seating is great too because everyone has a good view of the stage practically from any where you are seated, the grass is soft, and when the sun goes down, its pretty well lit. A bunch of us got together and did a potluck on the lawn while listening to the legendary Jazz artist Earl Klugh. This FREE event also allows you to bring low back lawn chairs, blankets, and even picnic items and alcohol at no additional charge...who else does that??? For all you Reggae music fans, Reggae in the Desert is just around the corner, but be warned that you may feel a little Irie at the end of the evening from concert goers who'll bring Mary Jane to the party and be passin' that dutchie......ALOHA!!! read more

Jazz in the park concert series was the event we came to attend. Glad we did for sure. Who knew the amazing courtyard of the Clark County Government center (behind the pyramid) on Bonneville and Grand Central Pakway could transform into an high quality music venue with world class talent. This all comes at my favorite price of free 99. The Jazz in th Park concert takes place annually in the spring with concerts being held weekly on Saturday with 5 shows and several artists in attendance. We had the pleasure of seeing Jackiem Joyner on Sax, Steve Oliver playing soulful guitar, and Selina Albright the versitile volcalist. These 3 extemely talented individuals put on a fantastic show for our first experience to Jazz in the Park. Our family will be attending many more of these events during the 2015 series. Many other musicians will be stopping by the Amphitheater this season. Artisits like Spyro Gyra, Marc Antoine, and the Brubeck Brothers Quartet. These artists are highly honored in the music industry with several hits Grammy's and Billboard Awards. One improvement that could be made for these weekly events is the options for food. I think a food truck or three could be very simple to coordinate on a Saturday evening. Wine and Beer are available for purchase in the vendor area. However almost everyone brought their own coolers and picnic baskets and low back chairs to enjoy the beautiful weather and Jazz under the stars. I say we get a large group of Yelpers together for a UYE in the coming weeks. The weather will only get warmer and the music even hotter as the 2015 season progresses. read more

A grass knoll suitable for taking in a concert. There is no assigned seating here, so those that have the best portable seating options will have the best time. According to their website, the lawn holds 3000 people. There is plenty of room to move about, plenty of parking and if you get bored, you can run across the street and go shopping at the Premium Outlets. You're not going to see U2 here, but for some free Jazz shows or a more local oriented festival, this is a convenient and comfortable spot. read more

Located conveniently across from the Premium Outlets, there are plenty of parking spaces available with an easy walk to the amphitheater itself. The amphitheater is set up with grassy levels which makes bringing blankets and low back chairs ideal. There are plenty of concrete walkways to push a stroller (or wheelchair) or to drag an ice cooler as well. There are even real bathrooms available (and not portable ones) for these concert events, although there can be a line as there are only a handful of stalls. During such events, there are usually a few vendors selling their wares, so you won't starve. Plenty of garbage cans are available to limit littering and all the events we've attended request that no smoking take place on the lawn. I really enjoy coming out this way for these local events - it's never too crowded where you can't find a spot on the grass and many people make a picnic out of it. (We always do!) My only concern is that there were some unpleasant bugs running around during one of the last events we were at. In the dim light, I saw this particular bug run across our cheese container and that just put me off and ultimately sent the cheese to the rubbish. Technically, you don't see these bugs running around rampant, but I'm sure they do exist and come out when the sun starts to drop and there are bits of food everywhere. Overall, the Clark County Amphitheater is really clean and a great place to have these (often free) family-friendly events. I'm sure it'll get busier every year. read more

i met up with some friends to enjoy an outside concert by Earl Klugh. I have listened to him through the years and to actually experience his artistry in person was such a delight. The weather was just perfect. Our friends joined low lawn chairs and picnic blankets. We brought some great snacks like coconut, some cookies, cheese and crackers, melons and of course shared some wine. It was such a relaxing evening and just perfect under the stars. I have to admire the band. The power went out throughout the entire park for a few minutes. The audience remained calm and soon the power began to come back on in sections. The band continued to play from where they left off in the song. The layout of the park lends itself to a casual experience, but graded so everyone has a good view. There are ample sidewalks to navigate the ampitheater. Most everyone has a good view if even from the side. This venue adds to the quality of life and It makes you proud to know Las Vegas believes in the arts and providing venues such as this. Thanks, Clark County! Such a beautiful evening and a beautiful experience. I can't wait to go back! read more

I've been here several times and it's a great setup for outdoor concerts/show. Parking is ample and the venue is contained. Depending on the show/festival, there are different retail and food vendors that show up. For the recent jazz festival, everyone brought their own lawn chairs, and coolers for an all day picnic. I think this may depend on each festival and their restrictions. Overall, I am looking forward to attending more events here :) read more

Wow....I can't belive it took me this long to go and check this place out. It was off the chain. The first time we just went to check it out. You take your own chairs/blanket/Pillows/ Drinks....yesssssssssss Drinks, food and relax it's awsome...But it's over ; v ( so next yr I will be there every Saturday. They have vendors. Food drins, clothing, and some other things as well. But it's amazing. The warm up bands are high school students so just....ummm yea wait for the real thing to hit the stage, it's well worth it. read more

Las Vegas Jazz Festival is one of the best festival I have been too. I have been going for the pass 5 years. Lost of parking to choose from and, its free! Make sure you arrive a lil early because the line can get pretty long, most people sit in their chairs while in the line. I love, love that you can bring in your own alcohol and food, just make sure your pour the alcohol in a plastic bottle and bring water and ice, wipes, sun screen & a blanket! Its get a lil hot at there. Make sure your chair is not over 32 inches, they have people walking around with a tall ruler measuring your chair. They will make you put your chair down or tell you to got sit in the back. I like that fact that singers are very personable and they will come out into the audience and your able to go up to them while there singer to take a pic or a selfie. But some of the singers have security guards and your not able to get close. The vendors are pretty good, I always end up buying something, shea butter, earrings etc. The food is good also and reasonable. I highly recommend the LAs Vegas Jazz Festival, its every April. Plan ahead and purchase you ticket, hotel & flight early. read more

I've been to a couple events here and this place is perfect for holding big events. All you have to do is brink a chair, or blanket, snacks, and drinks(if permitted) and you're set for a good evening. During the day you can find a nice spot under the shade and as the day goes on, more shade becomes available. Anywhere you set up here is a great spot to see what's happening on stage. My family and I went to a festival here and when it was over, we went over the outlet mall, which is across the street. In the same area is the Smith Center which is beautiful after dark, also in the day. There are many things to do in the area and you could plan a decent day/evening; relaxing on the lawn in the amphitheater is one of them. read more

This review is for Reggae in the Desert which is held every year here at the Clark County Ampitheatre, good for people who enjoy outdoor lawn seating types of events. I had won tickets from Yelp initially I thought it was a pair but it ended up being just one so it paid my way in. Hey! I'm not complaining. Luckily my aunt was taking my cousin and sister. They had clear rules on what you could bring in, no outside food one water bottle per person and blankets only but I saw some people smuggle in some lawn chairs which isn't fair because it was quite uncomfortable where we sat at first as the venue was packed. You have to come early to get a good seat this place was filled and covered everywhere with people. If the weather allows you to come early and you can handle the heat then go for it because it was 110 when we came in the evening at 530. We were trying to beat the heat. Even though the place was packed you pretty much have a good view of the stage from everywhere. We later met up with some friends closer to the stage with a lot more room and were much more comfortable there. Plenty of vendors selling merchandise such as hats, clothing, jewelry music etc. food vendors selling Carribean food and shaved ice. Just beware the Mary Jane can make you a little light headed I warned you. ONE LOVE! read more

I was here recently for the Las Vegas jazz festival and this place was the perfect venue. There were rows of grassy areas with walkways in between, and it is constructed in such a way that no matter where you sit you have a good view of the stage. There are plenty of trees for shade on the higher ground. This venue would be excellent for just about any outdoor show or event requiring a stage. read more
