I'm a live standup comedy fan and am still mourning the loss of Wiseguys in the Arts District. Wiseguys was always our go-to comedy club as locals, and I finally had time to check out the newest (and now lone) location at Town Square. It's better because parking is free, easy, and plentiful, and this new space is about twice the size of the old one. So there's a lot of good here. I purchased tickets to see Lavell Crawford and paid a reasonable $41 per ticket (including tax and fees). The show quality was good (the two openers not so much), and I didn't like that the staff didn't cut the headliner off when he went on TOO long (so long that the later show started LATE). It became brutal after sitting in there for nearly 2.5 hours! Also, the staff wouldn't let anyone leave so it was a really bad experience. I don't know if this is common here, but it was really, really bad and would make me think twice before seeing another show here. Please, staff: enforce time limits and have the courage to stop the show when the time is up! This location has an expanded food menu with better dishes than the old downtown club. Wings, sliders, nachos, burgers, and more are on offer and reasonably priced for a club. You could easily make an entire evening of it including dinner. The food offerings are substantial and not just throwaway bar snacks. Drinks are a mixed bag, and they do not offer free refills on any of the fountain sodas (lame). Service was quick and efficient, and settling the tab was a breeze. The vibe is classic comedy club, with dim lights, rows of seats that share long communal tables, and a stage that feels close enough to catch every punchline. Seating is first come first served, so arrive early for the best views. Some of the seats can have a blocked view of the stage, so beware. A doorman will seat you when you arrive. Wiseguys features a good mix of touring headliners and local, up and coming acts. Live comedy will always be a mixed bag, so you never know what you're going to get. Tickets are reasonably priced and the folks working the door are so nice and welcoming. The venue is roomy yet intimate, and is a great place to catch a stand-up show. Best of all, it's not super touristy like the rest of the major comedy clubs in town, and its off-Strip location means parking is easy, prices are lower, and the vibe has a more local flair. read more

Cool place to see some comedy if you could actually hear it. We came to see one of our favorite comedians at Wiseguys, only the crown was more interested in talking amongst themselves, that the comedian wasn't able to do his set. He kept asking the crowd and a specific section to quiet down so he could finish, but they wouldn't comply. I wish the Wiseguys security team would of stepped in to help those groups quiet down so the comedian could finish his set. We didn't pay to listen to other people talk all night. The service was pretty slow, there are very limited amounts of servers for a ton of people. We sat down for Atleast 20 mins before being able to put in a drink order. The pros - we ordered the fries at the table, they were awesome! So hot and crispy. The drinks were good, but we did ask a few times for limes which never showed up. This place is a great time for locals. We don't wanna deal with traffic and parking fees! But the place is very quaint and intimate, because you be as close you want to. The seating is is first come first serve. So if you wannabe in the line of fire of the comedians, you have a choice! The great part is the price of the drinks and food, like they normally prices. No crazy on the strip uncharged. The theater is a little dark, resembling an underground comedy show. Overall, the price for these shows is great. I saw Aries MF-in Spears for $40! Who does that?! Make sure you get there before doors open thoigh since it's open seating and first come first served. The service was great and attentive. Wise guys is a great comedy club! I was lucky enough to see my favorite comedian Damon Darling here, he was so funny. The only thing I felt bad about is that the crowd wouldn't stop talking during his set and he made it a point to bring it up. It's common sense not to big a comedian on stage but no one seemed to respect his set. He ended up engaging with the crowd more than he planned to but he pulled it off well and still was hilarious. I came here last weekend and got to see Chris Redd. I love the different seating options to choose from. The club has good dim lighting and easy to see the acts with the elevated stage. His openers were funny and there was so many times in his set I was bent over laughing. Once you are seated there are servers that come take your drink and food orders. My husband and I love this comedy club! We have had a great time each time we have visited this venue. They have some really funny comedians. It's a nice, chill, relaxed vibe. They serve food and drinks at your seat and the staff are always super friendly. It is 21+ and they do scan your drivers license at the door. We have attended a few shows now and each one has been unique to the performers they have booked. The openers tend to be a little less funny than the headliners, but that's similar any comedy club in town. Seats are first come, first choice. This place is a fun spot to get together with your friends! They usually have good comics but sometimes the first opener isn't the best. Everyone has different tastes though so I can't fault them on that. The staff downstairs is friendly and welcoming and they ID you before you head upstairs. What: Chris D'Elia 7pm comedy show. Cost: We decided at the last minute to catch a show and didn't realize this guy is somebody so it was $45 per person. He was decently funny and had a lot of fans because the place was packed! Ambiance: we came early and sat in the center area, but towards the back behind the main aisle as you walk in. It was a good seat, but we would come earlier next time because there were couches in front that several people squeezed to sit on and one girl kept sitting on the arm of the chair and blocking our view. Plus she had a big cowboy hat on and it pissed me off that no worker was telling her to sit down!! The seats are also hard and uncomfortable and really close to one another so get ready for leg rubbing your neighbor! The waitresses work hard and we don't drink so we tried non-alcoholic beers and then I realized after a couple of sips that I don't really like the taste of skunky beer anymore. The place was big and very clean. The bathroom was ok. It was a great night out and we'll be back when in the mood. We had the BEST night at Wiseguys Comedy Club! From the moment we walked in, the energy was fun, welcoming, and exactly what you want for a comedy night out. The show was fantastic -- nonstop laughs and such a great atmosphere. But the real MVP of the night was our server, Michelle. She was absolutely amazing -- attentive, quick, hilarious, and added to the entire experience. She even told us that if she was bad, her name was Greg So now our new motto is: Don't be a Greg. Husband and I came here for a comedian's tour. At the front, I gave them my ID and they checked my name off from a list. Then we went upstairs to the venue. First thing I noticed regarding safety is that nobody scanned us or checked our bags/pockets before entering; they should probably start doing that especially in today's climate. Hence, why I removed one star. We thankfully got great seats near the back that had a full view of the stage. I liked that we could view the menus by scanning the QR code. I didn't find the prices too crazy, and the servers were very attentive. Bathrooms were not the cleanest (at the time I visited) but it wasn't too bad. No complaints with the sound system; we were able to hear the opening act and the comedian just fine. read more

First time here. The email stated the doors open at 9pm but they did not open until almost 10pm so we stood on the stairs waiting. Once inside, the space is large. Lots of seating. We ordered a drink and they do not list the alcohols they use but it turns out to be bottom shelf aka Jose Cuervo and BS like that. There is a sign when you walk-in that states open tabs will be charged 18% if you dont close your tab. I asked our waitress twice to close our tab and she kept providing excuses on why she couldn't such as it being too busy and wait until the show starts. Girl what? It took her about an hour to close out my tab after we ordered. I suggest you bring cash. We saw Lavell Crawford and he did a great job. I would return w/cash and after 10pm. read more

Customer service at the front desk and management on duty was immature handling a situation inappropriately and defensively. This is definitely not a place I'd consider returning, and I am local. While they wouldn't refund us after kicking us out wrongfully, I requested video footage proof of there allegations. They couldn't provide. Luckily my credit card company reimbursed due to the lack of proof the establishment had for kicking us out, and marked the establishment as a warning since they didn't respond back to the bank. read more

Two were unable to attend due to illness and even though they have a no refund policy they gave us two vouchers to use at a later date. That is great customer service . I saw Amber Autry here, and she was absolutely fantastic. As for the venue, everyone here was very efficient and accommodating, and they got a huge line through very quickly. The drinks were exactly as you would expect and the servers did a great job getting to us during the show. The talent here was really great, the performances before the main event were good and I had a good time here. They have a long list of comedians putting on shows and it seems like there is something going on quite often here. The inside space of this venue is quite large and has a lot of space. It's very dim with many posters on the walls and reminds me of a NY style comedy club....very classic and timeliness. They do offer a simple food menu here along with many drinks. Service for the drinks during the show for my group was slow (they forgot our order and we had to re-ask and wait for it). The venue has changed very little from when it was McFadden's and still has some of the same insignia on the outside of the building. The space was open and clean and dark which was good for the show. There are plenty of chairs that have table tops so you can order drinks and food though. Both of those don't seem to be their specialty. They weren't bad, they just were okay. I came here to see Deray Davis and had a great time! We came early and were able to get front row seats. I didn't get a chance to try the food but I did get a root beer float that was very delicious! My husband got the sea breeze which was good but didn't taste any alcohol at all. Pieces are very fair here!! The service was fast but they could put more smiles on their faces. Bathrooms definitely need to be cleaned better. The seats aren't very comfy in the front so if you are in the regular chairs prepare for your back to hurt. Honestly, one of the best comedy show experiences I've ever had. The venue itself is a very well ran establishment! My visit started with a very simple and seamless check in process. All I had to do was give a name of my party, and the friendly guy at the front immediately directed me up to stairs to join my group. Once in our seats, the wait staff were extremely efficient, hospitable, and quick! I'm so not used to that from most of the comedy venues I'm visited. The food we ordered was good, but it was just fries. So I don't have much feedback to give in that area. Another thing that actually caught me off guard was the amazing shape that the physical place was kept. It was very clean & in such good shape. Now, as for the comedy itself... Our main headliner was JR DeGuzman. He was very very funny, and a crowd pleasure for sure! The host was a little iffy, and the pre-act comedian was a bit better. Overall, a great great experience! I'm a big fan of Wise Guys downtown but am always disappointed when my husband tells me that the show we're going to is actually at the Town Square location. This used to be the old McFadden's restaurant, so it's restaurant-shaped rather than theater-shaped. Some of the seating is situatated in such a way that you'll have a very poor view of the stage from the sides. It's a large venue yet they're dead set on having all of the chairs touch each other despite the fact most Americans' shoulders are wider than the back of a metal bistro chair. You will be shouldering your neighbors no matter how thin you are. Taking just 2 chairs out of the rows with tables would give people some space to not be crammed in like sardines. Like all the Wise Guy's comedy locations, there are no gluten-free options except for beverages & the root beer float. Their fryers are shared and the menu is all snacky bar food that I'd love to eat if I didn't have Celiac disease. Unfortunately there's obviously no outside food allowed so I'm out of luck. Lastly, whoever is booking talent sends the stinkers to this location. I've seen people with name recognition perform here as well as a boatload of Zzzz comics who stick to the done-to-death generic "I like sex & weed"- type "jokes." Parking is sometimes a challenge due to the fact everyone in the universe has apparently left their car at Town Square before catching an Uber to the airport, so come a little early to find parking and to make sure you don't end up missing the show. If you have a choice, even though the other location also has some of these problems, for whatever reason, they book better talent at their smaller downtown Arts District location. Hey Yelpers!!! We came in here to see one of my favorite comedians, Ryan Hamilton. He was great, but my review is just based on the location as the performers change almost nightly. Ticketing is super easy through their website, with digital tickets emailed to you and your name waiting for you at the check in desk. Parking can be a bit of a walk away, so make sure you give yourself enough time prior to your showtime. You check in downstairs (make sure you all have ID to prove you are old enough) and then make your way upstairs to the venue. There is an elevator of stairs are not an option. The venue itself is large and fairly open. We always get there early in order to sit close to the front. If your comedian is more of an insult comic type, you may want to sit toward the back. The first few rows are packed in kinda tight and have a long narrow table to set your drinks or food on. There are tables around the back that may be a little more comfortable and less cramped. The servers are very friendly, and the drinks and food come out fairly quickly. I ordered some onion rings and they were great. They were freshly prepared and delicious. The coating had a slightly sweet flavor (not overpowering) that went well with the ketchup and fry sauce I asked for. Overall this is a great comedy venue and the prices have been very reasonable, both for the tickets and for the food and drinks. We will be back again for sure. Check them out!!! read more

I love this venue! We came here a while ago to see Mandy Smith. I know of her from Wild & Out. She's funny! Are seats weren't the best but our waiter had seen us right away & was busy but told us he would be back, so that was appreciated. We ordered drinks & food. Got the nachos which weren't too bad & chicken fingers. I was so surprised to see how big the place is once the show was over & the lights were on and I ventured to the bathroom. I've been in here before when it was the Irish bar. You have to check in downstairs & the guys working the little stand were nice upon our arrival & we were able to take the elevator upstairs as I had a knee scooter. First time at this location, came in to see Dave Attell. Club is upstairs but entrance is on the ground level near the yard house. Small menu of bar food but smelled really good. We had just eaten so we elected to go for drinks only. Not much in the way of bourbon so we got makers mark and coke and settled in for the show Only complaint is the chairs are jammed on tightly, if you're over 100 lbs you'll be squished in there. I had an aisle seat so wasn't bad but my wife was jammed next to the person seated beside her, so much so that they both sat sideways to give each other space. read more

This place is a joke. That's not a review but the saying on their drink menu and on the shirts of some of the servers. I have been at Wiseguys in the Arts District and this is so much better--spacious parking (free), a larger room, and good sound. Above the Yard House restaurant, getting there is easy. I parked in the west garage at Town Square and walked the short distance to the theatre. Check in is easy. They do not bother with tickets. When you buy your ticket, your name is placed on a list and you merely show ID to be admitted. You get an email confirmation but it is not needed for admission. There are two ways to get to the second floor where the club is--take the elevator or walk up some stairs. I took the stairs. On entering, a person will show you to your seat. I was offered a front row seat but i learned a long time ago to stay out of the front unless you want to become part of the show. Instead, I was seated in the third row on the outside seat. Shortly, a server, Miles, came and asked about drinks. I told him a Coke but also mentioned I would be ordering from the food menu. You can scan a QR code to see the menu or look at one of the laminated ones on the table. I ordered the black and blue burger. Burgers and sandwiches come with fries. In a reasonable amount of time, a server brought my burger. While it was done more than the rare I like, it was medium and very juicy. Topped with bleu cheese pieces, tomato, and spring greens, it was a very good burger. The fries were good, also, and it was a great idea to have dinner at the club. The show started about 7:15. A warm up comedian opened the show and he was funny! Score one! He introduced Kevin Nealon, the reason I got a ticket for here. Until I got the email from them, I didn't know there was a Town Square second location. The show was over a bit after 8:30. You exit the opposite way you come in. There are steps going down to the mall near the entrance door to the Yard House. Very easy and smooth operation. I will be watching their emails, and I will be back. I do agree with a pervious review that having a QR code to order and pay would be a super idea. Even a QR code for paying on the bill would be easier. My advice is to get there early. Doors open at 5:45 for the 7 PM show. I got there about 6:10 and almost had a pick of any seat. The earlier you get there, the better seat you may get. Have been at Town Square Wise Guys many times. The check in people, usher, service staff are all amazing. Going to the restroom to see old black partitions, old black toilets, empty soap dispensers and gas station pink soap just brings the place to "ghetto" level. Class it up just a touch. Huge venue, larger restrooms(than the other location). Seating is very quaint as it relates to space between you and the person sitting next to you. Literally bumping elbows. Went on a sold out night, and the servers seemed a little overwhelmed. Inside of which aisle they needed to deliver the correct drinks to, not providing stars for drinks. Otherwise it was a great experience. The chairs could be more plush for long lengths of seating. But that's a minor detail. Plenty of feee parking as it's located on the Town Square shopping plaza near the AMC theaters and Guitar center. read more

Came in for the first time on Saturday for Seth Tippetts. It was a good show and he was funny. Some good original jokes. The venue was very nice in town square. The 9:30 had plenty of room (not sold out). Still a very good crowd. There was also the host as well as one other opening comic. The girl who served my friend was very friendly and she enjoyed her slice of chocolate cake. I'd definitely recommend and come back for another show. read more

Wow, Wise Guys has upgraded!! We have always loved their original location in the Arts District downtown, but this new spot is on a whole other level! It's like triple the size and fancy! Comics rotate and change weekly, so be sure to check their website to see who's stopping by! We also love their food and drinks as it's delicious and all at very reasonable pricing. No strip prices here! Just wished they had gluten-free options for my wife aside from beverages only. They typically have shows on Fridays and Saturdays, but sometimes Thursdays and Sundays. Prices are super reasonable, too, at $30-40! They're located above Yardhouse, next to Blue Martini, in the old McFaddens Pub space. However, their entrance and ticketing desk is on the first floor, across from Pho Kim Long. read more

So fun! A few of us came here to see Trevor Wallace when he was here around Superbowl time. I wasn't sure what to expect when purchasing the tickets, but we had a great time! Tickets were $30. This location is at Town Square, so there's plenty of free parking with a short walk. It's a first come, first serve seating arrangement, so doors open roughly an hour before the show. We got there a little less than an hour before, and we were sat in the 4th row back pretty dead center. Once you check in, you head up some stairs and give how many are in your party to get seated. The way our seating worked was a long bar with chairs that pull up to it, so if the person in front of you has their chair all the way back, their hair could end up in your food. If you want to ensure you get a decent seat and don't have to sit too far back on the sides of the stage, get there as early as they will allow! After we got our seats, we looked over the menu and ordered some drinks. Once those came out, we ordered food. Getting there an hour early was the perfect amount of time to get it, get a seat, and eat your meal before the show starts. Our server was Nile (I believe that was her name), and she was very nice and got our orders pretty quick! We ordered the chicken caesar wrap and wiseguys wings with buffalo sauce. The wrap was good! It was very big, I didn't finish it all. It also came with fries, which I subbed for onion rings. My sister got a root beer float with her food, and it honestly looked really good! The food prices are all pretty reasonable, somewhere between $9 and $15. The show was really good and we overall had a really fun time! I would definitely come back. Anxiety inducing questions I had that may help you: 1. How is the seating? - For the front areas, it's a bar style table and seats that pull up. The seats aren't fixed to the floor, so you can scoot around for whatever space you need. There were some small tables for 2 people, as well as high top tables and chairs. 2. How long will I be there roughly? - We saw Trevor Wallace, and he had an MC and 3 or 4 openers. 3. What is parking like? - Very easy and free! You can park near Guitar Center and walk a little bit. You can also park in the garage (I believe West garage) and do the little walk from there. It's pretty close to where MAC is. read more
