Every office has its issues. In particular, the front office is overwhelmed and may take a bit of time to get back to you. Dr. B. is very careful about prescribing and maintaining medications classified as "controlled substances" so keep that in mind as well.

Now that I'm older, I've made a conscious decision to be better about my health. Of course, this place was the first thing that came to mind. I came back to see Dr. Maldonado and he didn't disappoint. He will personally call you with your test results and explain what the results mean. On top of that, Dr. Maldonado is not the type who will push one type of treatment without being thorough with your check up. If you're looking for a general physician, make an appointment here and see if you've found yourself your GP. The amount they charge here also very reasonable!!! Only downside is when I called in to make an appointment, the lady with whom I was talking to on the phone kept asking about insurance information that I had provided at the beginning of our conversation! And they asked about it again when I came to my appointment!

Because of you I am writing this review…read more I came to Dr. Heard because my OBGYN/Endocrinologist retired and he highly recommended him to all of his patients. What a great guy. I just loved him instantly. He takes time. Genuine time--to talk to you. He shows interest in you and your health. That seems to be a rare things these days as we are often rushed through cattle shoots when it comes to medical care. I made an appointment through his office for my mammogram. It was a really cool place in Houston and they did a 3D mammogram. That was a new experience. I had to go back and then they did a biopsy. Dr. Heard delivered the news to me on August 24, 2015 that I have breast cancer. It felt like the floor disappeared. My world forever had changed. It was because he had me go have a 3D mammogram that my cancer was detected. If it was not for him, no telling how long it would be in me growing. He recommended that I see Dr. Bonefas, a well known surgeon, she took it from there. Dr. Heard is a wonderful man and a fine doctor. I highly recommend him.
