He is very thorough. At one house I had squirrels in my attic and while the previous owner had another company block most of the entry points they missed some and Ryan solved the problem and installed a one way door so the squirrels could not get back in once they left. The previous owner used poison and that left a few dead carcasses in the attic. As import as being good is, just as import is being honest. Ryan will only recommend and do what is needed. If there is another trade like a roofer that can fix a problem better than him, he will recommend that - this is being honest and recommending to customers what is best for them. Not only does Ryan KO the competition with price (I got quotes that were 30% to over 100% more), but he also KOs the competition in service and professionalism. I called Ryan around 10 AM and told him where I live. He said he could be at my place between 12-1 PM. Ryan showed up at 12:15 PM--right on time. Outside my front door, he could see over 30 yellow jacket (very aggressive) wasps flying everywhere and the nest is somewhere in between the walls. Ryan didn't do any bait-and-switch or upselling--just some friendly conversation before getting to work. After the first treatment, he noticed wasps inside the house (through the window) and asked if he could go inside to assess the situation. He instantly spotted a small hole in the ceiling and said, "That's how the wasps are getting inside." He sprayed insecticide in the ceiling hole and explained that's where the wasp nest was located. We went back outside, where Ryan was eliminating the last few wasps, when he said, "Wow! You've got three wasp and one carpenter ant." He explained this was unusual because wasps and ants don't typically coexist. Ryan went to his truck and returned to address my ant issue. While he was spraying the beam, I asked for a quote to handle the ant problem. He said there was a chance that his current treatment might eliminate the ant nest, and if so, it would be free. Ryan then spent another 10 minutes explaining his approach to tackle the ant issue--essentially teaching me what to do. He concluded by saying if I still needed help with the carpenter ants, I should call him. Like most people, I read reviews not only to find the best price but to find someone I can trust. You can trust Ryan like the person who does your hair. For most people, calling an exterminator isn't common, so finding a trustworthy one is difficult. Put all that fear to rest--Ryan will give you a very reasonable quote with no upcharges and will get the job done. I even had to beg Ryan to please accept a tip from me, cause he did so much work and charge so little. BTW, my wasps issues was resolved by 1:30PM (under 2 hours) and I can use my front door again. Both Hassan and Sobia are very pleasant to talk to and very professional in scheduling appointments and completing work. I initally requested help with a squirrel problem in our atttic. This took about 7 or 8 visits by Hassan to repair/close entry points in our roof, set traps to catch the squirrels, and then several follow-up visits to inspect the attic to make sure squirrels had not returned. During the intial visit and survey of the roof and attic, Hassan pointed out some other issues he noticed: 1) there were several bee nests in the attic ---so I hired Hassan to remove the bee nests. 2) the gutters were full of debris from recent windstorms --- so I hired Hassan to clean the gutters. 3) one of the down pipes attached to the gutter was detached and bent --- so Hassan fixed that. 4) one of the soffits was hanging down a bit so Hassan fixed that. I always appreciate it when someone comes to provide a service and at the same time, points out other unrelated issues that could be a problem.     One of my biggest pet peeves is communication. As a service company I haven't had any problems in…read moreterms of calling them out when we need them to have our backs and have some extra man power needed for various pest control services on behalf of many of our clients. My struggle with them has always been communicating with the receptionist. As a maintenance manager of these clients communicating has always been a struggle. The problem isn't that the ladies on the phone can't or won't answer my questions but simply how they answer the questions. I know that it is super busy being a large firm which I appreciate and understand but they're more insistent on getting you off the phone in 30 seconds than actually listing to you. There has been numerous occasions, specifically with someone by the name of Rita, who always answers the question before I finish and often the answer she gives has nothing to do with my initial question. By not listening to me she has wasted both our time instead of taking the minute to hear the full question. This was a battle with her on the last call I had. We inherited a new portfolio and I required some up to date information but felt that Rita wasn't interested in helping me sort out my questions. On top of her not allowing me to finish she would talk over me in full sentences while I was talking. Speaking at the same time is very unprofessional. Again, when it comes to service calls I've never had any on site problems with these guy, however, their administration department loses points with me. In fact I've debating even reviewing their administration department, however, after the 6 interaction I was compelled to. The first few times I shrugged it off as a bad day but after the 6th it is beyond a bad day. Either they're severely overwhelmed and need more staff or their staff needs more customer service training, especially when it comes to active listening.
