I felt like i was getting the bum's rush when i asked specific questions which is not a good feeling. Pilar told me Emily would be speaking w/ a specialist and getting back to me but that has not happened after several days so am disappointed. Will have to search elsewhere for an agent that will support me when the chips are down. That's when you know if you have the right agent!

This was one of the most frustrating insurance experiences I have ever had…read more Kris Jackson at ProStar provided incorrect information and showed a complete lack of ownership during an already stressful situation. I was told my assigned agent was out of office for the holiday and that nothing could be done. However, that agent's voicemail clearly stated to press 1 to be connected to another agent, which I did. The alternate agent immediately confirmed that what Kris told me was incorrect. From there, I was forced to do the work myself. I personally called the policy department to remove our totaled vehicle from the policy. The representative I spoke with even stated that this was the agent's responsibility, but since it was not being handled, they would take care of it for me. That should never happen. When you are dealing with a total loss, you should not have to fact check your agent, chase down departments, and resolve issues on your own. I do not recommend ProStar if you are involved in an accident. Be prepared to handle everything yourself, because this office will not proactively help you. I dropped ProStar immediately after this experience. For comparison, I switched to Robert Pfarr at Allstate and the difference is night and day in terms of customer care, responsiveness, and knowledge. His team has been wonderful. I would not recommend ProStar to anyone, even as a last resort.

This is the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with by far lol. I am absolutely flabbergasted that this place has as many 5 star reviews as it does. Anthony doesn't answer calls, doesn't reach out to lenders to get escrow insurance payments, doesn't return calls, takes days if not weeks to respond to emails, tells me that he can't get payment from my lender but tells me we have time because Safeco isn't cancelling policies because of the fires, then lets my policies cancel, doesn't tell me anything, doesn't inform me of the cancellations, doesn't let me know it's pending cancellation, then I start getting collection agencies calling me from Safeco. This is absolutely unacceptable for clients!! Anthony has wasted my time and money and continues to do so. Stay away from this place! You have been warned!!

To say the least I was extremely disappointed in their customer service, it is non existent. I was originally with Shinstrom agency in Kirkland. We have always had excellent customer service. I did with HUB International when it was in Kirkland. Now customer service is not something that happens with them I am now looking for a new agent or agency somewhere else. Very sad indeed that a business can no longer care about their clients and obviously still want to keep them. Its very wrong.

We recently had a serious issue come up with an underwriter, and called Hub for urgent assistance on a Saturday. The direct number to our broker was "no longer in service", so we called the main line in Bothell, which rang and rang and rang with no answer. We finally got through to a voice mail, but then no one from Hub called us back until Tuesday. By then, we had already switched to a new broker. If you're going to be in the insurance business, you need to answer the phone.

My home's roof is fairly new and has no missing shingles. I responded to this false claim, requesting that they look into their error. Instead, I was asked for proof of the roof's condition. The burden of proof is not on me. Travelers was more than welcome to come inspect my roof and determine why such an outrageous and clearly false claim was made, but they did not. I cannot remain a customer with a company that treats its customers like this. If I ever needed to file a claim, I can't imaging the battle that would ensue to force them to pay. Because of this blatant, unprofessional mistreatment, I have switched to the competition.
