Incredibly YUMMY! Loved this latino owned coffee shop! Super cozy, aesthetic, beautiful paintings, greenery and trendy decor. My husband and I both ordered the cookie butter, smore's iced latte and it was absolutely delicious! Very well made and beautiful presentation. Staff was very kind and helpful. Parking was simple with a parking lot directly next to the entrance. Along with coffee, they also do offer sweet and savory food options. Now, this is me just nitpicking but it's unfortunate that it's not in the prettiest part of Houston but it's great that they're bringing a pop of color, culture and life to this area! Overall, definitely worth a try and will definitely be back to try their coffee buckets! read more

I tried the Oreo pastry and it was so good! Although it looks sweet it was perfectly balanced! Not too sweet. It is a croissant turned into a waffle, topped with whip cream, Oreo crumble, and chocolate drizzle. I will be trying their other pastry flavors because this was delicious! The coffees were delicious and the food we got was yummy. However they forgot to make one of our food items and it was chaos behind the counter. They had about 8 tables and they were all full. Love to see a small business like this find success. Just a few kinks to work out. La Maria came out timely but their plastic wear wouldn't cut through, so I ate it like a slice of pizza. All in all the place is a good pick if you're in this part of town, but not worth the 20 minute trip we took. read more

The service was decent, but felt rapid. The inside is nice. I got a brown sugar shaken espresso and it was very sweet. I personally like my coffee on the bitter side/less sweet. I can for sure see how someone that likes coffee on the sweeter side enjoying this :). I would recommend if you like your coffee more sweet, but otherwise can't say I would be back. This place definitely screams culture, family and love. The staff were smiling and appeared to be interested in learning the craft of coffee as they were practicing drinks and trying new things. I ordered a vanilla latte. They use pre-made syrups and the coffee is good. I prefer a stronger expresso but overall not bad. The matcha was my favorite and the strawberry puree (not homemade) was pretty tasty as well. I think this was my most favorite drink that I ordered and as some of you know I'm a coffee girl!! I've been a few times. This place has a lot of potential and it's a cool little spot inside (getting small because it's been a lot more crowded). Few things: - Croffles are great the few times I've tried them. -Empanadas: They've been great but the server/barista has forgotten to put the dipping sauces 3/4 times when I've been. - Matcha: Drinks are hit or miss. One day the matcha drink is good, and then the next day it's way too sweet and watery. Not sure if it's the process, the barista, or the ingredients that's not consistent. - Other coffee drinks: way too much sugar and too sweet in my opinion. - Service: Baristas are nice but some of them are missing orders and laughing/joking with each other a lot. One time I went, a lady walked in and went to the back where the baristas were working and she was laughing and dancing everywhere and gossiping with the baristas. I think it's a main reason the service takes a long time and the orders get missed as well. I want to see this place really succeed, but definitely some kinks to work out. read more

This place is honestly too sweet for my liking. I went because they were constantly coming on my fyp on tiktok. The service wasn't great either. As we were ordering the cashier was talking and laughing with her other coworkers, that she misheard my boyfriend and got his order wrong. Both of our coffees weren't the best. This is a review from me going in to this coffee shop for 3 weeks & observing in customer service and taste. Starting : The establishment / Coffee shop As you arrive there is limited parking, and the parking from the back is shared. Some days are good some are packed but has never been a problem to get a parking spot. The coffee shop itself is cute, has a calm atmosphere, games to play with the kiddos, work environment. This place can fill up quick and seating is limited. This is good though, as I love to see small places get recognition! Once walking inside I was not greeted, this was even after coming in for a while. Finishing : this is reviews on drinks that I tried. I have NOT tried their food just drinks. Been wanting to see if their ratio from coffee to sugar has changed and it has not. I've also read past reviews from recently that they as well had similarities in the coffee being to sweet. I love coffee taste, but if I'm tasting more of the sugar is it really even coffee? Sometimes it is a hit or miss. Some days the coffee is ok and other it's way to sweet than usual or mixture is not mixed well. 16oz was a hit, more than a 16 oz the drink was definitely way too sweet. (Even my kido agreed.) 1. horchata calabaza latte 3/5 : at first I was getting it with the foam on top but the drink itself is already sweet. I then started getting it without the foam makes it a bit better but you still can taste more of the flavor than sugar. Still was good! 2. Regular horchata latte 5/5 : No foam. You can definitely taste the authentic taste of the horchata which is very good! BUT the ratio of sugar vs coffee is the same, the sugar wins. I will still say 5 bc the horchata is definitely a good taste. I've also seen lattes only have 1 expresso so I added extras to the lattes as well to see if it would make a difference which it did. But coffee is at $7 and adding a shot I get a sub charge (not complaining) but if I have to pay to taste the coffee my point goes back to the same , their portion of ratio from coffee to sugar is not great then. Even Starbucks for a $7 cup you least get 2 shots of expresso in a med cup! 3. Brown sugar shaken expresso 1/5 : I didn't even finish the drink after the first sip. You will not taste the shaken expresso, it's more of the milk and brown sugar. The whole point of the shaken expresso is to have more of the expresso and right amount of brown sugar syrup to still be able to taste the combination. Again, offered to add more expresso but why do I have to pay for more expresso if the drink itself is called shaken expresso you would think it would come with more. 4. Pecan crunch 2/5 : same as other drinks the flavor overpowers the coffee and even more with the foam but still a good flavor. 5. Fresas con crema matcha: 5/5 in a 16 oz . More than 16oz It becomes very sweet. (This is coming from my kido) 6. Mango matcha: 5/5 it's good, my son liked it he didn't complain but wasn't into the coconut maybe oatmilk next time. 7. Matcha calabaza horchata: 1/5 I did not like it the sweetness was way to much for myself or my kid but hey everyone to their liking. 8. Calabaza matcha: 3/5 this was okay, but the sweetness was still a bit much. Well, that sums it up. I would probably give it another try in the future because their syrups and taste are amazing don't get me wrong. You can taste the authentic taste in each flavor they make they have the touch, BUT I would love to taste more of the coffee beans, and flavor the aroma; rather than more sweetness of the sugars. read more

We ordered the mango matcha and a brown sugar shaken expresso. The mango matcha was super yummy and would get it again. The brown sugar shaken espresso was way too sweet for my liking and I even asked them to remake it and it was still way too sweet to drink. The decore so super cute and minimalist. read more

A lot of places sell Horchata but usually it's the powder form this beautiful coffee shop sells Horchata lattes and have a lot of variety on their menu ranging for Matcha, chai, Horchata latte. The list goes on. I am here to tell everyone that they actually make their horchata using real rice!They also have board games, good music, it's a super cute cafe but just because they sell actual Horchata made with real rice I would come here and it taste absolutely amazing. read more
