The selection of donuts and kolaches was hole-y impressive. All the classics were there, fresh and tempting--I ended up grabbing a baker's dozen (purely for "research," of course). The kolaches were solid too, holding their own against Houston's usual quick stops. The storefront is shiny and new, conveniently attached to a gas station. Don't let that deter you--these donuts will fuel you better than premium unleaded, especially when you need a sugar rush to survive rush hour. If you're on the go and looking for a sweet little pit stop, Danny Donuts is a cruller above the rest. One heads-up: the team had to double-check the milk expiration dates.
