Firsts of all, I have to say I started a Yelp account just to write this review.
Wing night seems like a good deal/time, but not here in Edson.
I've been here in Edson 4 weeks now. My fourth Wing night.
Wing night 1 was great, it was busy and we were with a large table, we all got wings, I got 3lbs and my brother was with me and got 2lbs. I picked up his bill but some how was charged for 6lbs total.
Haddent realized until I left.
Called and spoke with the manager, he said sure come on down we have will have a gift card for you, I said well how about next Tuesday I just get a free lbs and we are good. He agreed and it was all good.
Week 2
Sat with a bunch again. Order 4 lbs, everything was great. Waitress was great, so good I felt bad cause it was her last week that over charges me. I didn't want to mention it so when I was done I asked another server about my gift card that was suppose to be there.
The women was rude and said no to me right away, then she said "ok, where were you sitting? He will bump it off" I said I already paid so she said "well let us know next week BEFORE you pay." Which was all good.
Week 3
Service until now was pretty good, no complaints besides the error in the initial bill week 1.
I purposely sat away from the nice server I had week 1-2 because she was too nice and I didn't want her to feel like she messed up.
Or embarrasses anyone. Including myself.
So I sat up at another table, far left back corner.
Waitress I think her name was nancy0667
She was nice at first I order 4lbs and ate them, then bill time came and I said "the house should have a gift card for me, or a credit for 1lbs, if I could speak to the manager he or she will take care of it."
Immediately she began to be rude and dismissive with me, but everything went good, I got my 1lbs of wings and still even though nancy0667 was rude I still tipped her $4 on a $9 bill.
Which I thought was nice.
But she remained rude.
Week 4
Get there. Sit up in the same table. And the waitress comes to greet us. And she looks at me like stares at she recognized me but couldn't put it together. I was polite. Ordered 3lbs. 2lbs of honey garlic and 1lbs of dill.
Food came.
But some how 3lbs of honey garlic showed up and 1lb of dill.
Obviously the 1lbs of extra honey garlic went back to the kitchen.
Everyone at the table didn't think anything of it just a simple mistake.
Then Bills came, and sure enough some how it was mine, she had be down for 3lbs of honey garlic and 1 lbs of dill.
So I said "I'm sorry but I only ordered 3lbs in total, that extra one was sent back"
Nancy0667 got so rude and muttered, "figures you do this all the time, I'll be right back, I have to go see the manager about you"
She said it so rude, people at the table couldn't believe what was happening with her.
She never returned.
Eventually we went to just pay and as I approached she basically threw my new bill at me, she said "I had to ok it with the kitchen that you didn't eat them"
She said it as if I ate them and didn't want to pay.
So acted like I wasn't even there took everyone else payment and turned to me and said "I don't even care about your bill, I'm not getting all hung up over $3.00" and she might as well dropped the atm on my feet. She was so ignorant.
Everyone I was with couldn't believe her. She had a strong French accent. Maybe she really thought I ordered 3lbs of honey garlic. Who knows but she was rude as can be. I can't even explain her body language.
I know the table I sat with was so offended by her that they won't be doing wings there any more, they will wait until Wednesday at galloways pub were the service is excellent.
My self I will not put up with being disrespected. I was polite the whole time. Never once was k difficult about it. I was trying to be nice and forgiving. Not rude and difficult. And defiantly didn't deserve to be embarrassed in front of contractors like that and won't ever again. A $3.50 pound of wings ain't worth re visiting that place ever again. I don't recommend this establishment. read more
