After the service, my massage therapist Jean asked me, in front of everyone in the reception area, whether I wanted to leave a tip. I found this extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. Tipping is a personal decision, and if a gratuity is going to be discussed, I believe it should be handled discreetly and respectfully--not in front of other customers in a way that can make someone feel pressured or put on the spot. What makes this especially disappointing is that I truly enjoyed everything else about my visit. A simple, professional checkout could have left me wanting to return and recommend the spa to others. Instead, the way the tip was handled was enough to make me reconsider ever patronizing this establishment again. Customer experience doesn't end when the massage is over. The way you make a client feel when they leave matters just as much as the service itself. Keep in mind that the rooms are not attached to the ceiling meaning that there's like a 12 inch gap between the ceiling and room so you will be able to hear other people talking. It all added up in the end and it was really expensive for everything I got done there and on top of that they didn't take but cash and credit card no checks. The massage therapist was really pushy there kept asking me to make another appointment with them and I told them No. It was a not a good experience I had there will never go back to that place again now I know.
