The facility is well-maintained; with the usual selection of items, from which to choose, one expects at a Publix. The staff, we encountered, were friendly and accommodating. Not only did he raise his voice at me almost immediately in our conversation. But, felt the need to remind my friend & myself that it was 11:00 pm the store was " f****** closing ". It was at that point that I decided to stop moving as fast as humanly possibly could with the groceries. In complete disbelief of what I had just heard, I pulled out my phone to possibly record any future acts of unprofessionalism! I personally felt attacked. As did my friend, who was right there with me to witness & hear his RUDE and UNKIND unprofessionalism.

When we went into the store, I expected the staff to be disgruntled due to the truck show outside. But they were kind, so very nice, and attentive. It was easy to see they took pride in their store, it was immaculate. They had larger selections, and varieties of items than most stores. To me, the produce stood out the most, as they carried some vibrant fruits, and interesting looking vegetables that I've never seen before.

Whaddiya expect from a grocery store across the street from the beach, after all? As one can imagine, the other thing that makes this store different is the total overcrowding of stuff in there. What do I mean? They offer beach supplies, T-shirts, beachwear and all that kind of stuff in addition to groceries. Huge ice machine right next to the beer cooler that takes up an entire side wall. I know the one aisle where the beer coolers were took up more refrigerator space than the entire dairy department. I know I'll never shop there again as we don't plan any more vacay time in the World's Most Famous Beach...from now until the cows come home. Speaking of which, isn't this the home of the so-called "Beef People"? Well, as the famous ad put it over 40 years ago..."Where's the Beef?" I know where the beer and the styrofoam coolers are. They also have a great selection of seafood and made in house sausages of all kinds of flavors. Not to mention in house made egg salad, shrimp and seafood salad, potato salad, macaroni salad and many others. They also have an in house restaurant called The Stand were you can get fresh made sandwiches and subs. The employees are very friendly and they keep the place nice and clean. This place has that old mom and pops atmosphere. I highly recommend this establishment for you grocery needs.

When I ask usually the clerk behind the desk doesn't know, then he will go to the back and find out and tell me Canada. ( which is better than chilli) but there is no infomation on the packaging or anything. I've decided to keep safe i will buy Bluehouse which is Salmon grown in man made tanks in Florida from another supplier. The deli Deparment is really good. They have better tasting and better valued deli than most major supermarkets in the area. Overall I really like Perrines. So far the food is real good and you have good values. I'd give it 5 stars if I can find out more info on what I am buying. with Fish and meat, and sale items on produce lasted longer.

What I really came for is to try their bbq pulled pork sandwich... it was fantastic! I am not into bbq flavored stuff, but this was so good I would definitely buy it again. I would say this is THE food item to try if you swing by this place. I also tried a chicken tender box they had. It came with some fries and 2 sauces that you get to choose. I got honey mustard, and ranch. This box definitely pairs best with the honey mustard in my opinion. This box feels like the perfect food item to pick up if you are on the road. I concluded my meal with a banana pudding. It was super light, not overly sweet and had plenty of bananas in it. Overall, this place feels like a wonderful stop to buy some goodies and even have a good quick meal. If you are lucky, you can take a picture with the mascot inside!
