Hello, Having an…read moreorganized closet might be one of the most satisfying and fun things I've ever done. From the owner (Andrew), the manager, Arlene (my designer), and the installers, it was a perfect experience. I wish I had more closets!! Joyce

TOP TIER .....FROM START TO FINISH!…read more As a General Contractor out of New York City with 25+ years of experience, I deal with trades, vendors, installers, and specialty contractors every single day, so I know exceptional work and service when I see it. For our new home renovation, we decided to work directly with Angela to design and procure the right closet system for our new walk-in closet and dressing room. That turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. From the very beginning through final installation, the entire experience was absolutely phenomenal. Angela handled every detail professionally, communicated throughout the process, and made the entire transaction feel seamless. I was so impressed that I actually called afterward just to personally express how pleased we were with the way everything was handled. And the installers? Some of the best in the business. Luis, Delvi & Emario were on time, professional, well-mannered, clean, respectful of our newly renovated home, and most importantly to me they are incredibly detail-oriented. They never let me down once. The workmanship and attention to detail were exactly what I expect from a top-tier installation. The finished walk-in closet and dressing room came out beautifully. The design, functionality, fit and finish all came together exactly as we envisioned. And I think the strongest endorsement I can give is this: we weren't even finished before we decided to give them more work. We just added another custom 12-foot section of built-ins for an additional closet space! Great people. Great product. Great installation. Great experience from beginning to end. Top-tier company all around. Angela and the entire installation team absolutely earned this 5-star review. Highly recommended! Thank you Angela, Brooklyn, Luis, Delvi & Emario ! - The Elejalde Family

Natalya Price came into my cramped Cape Cod like a force of Nature!…read more Instead of having me rent expensive furnishing and art, she worked with what I had. When her swirl of energy settled, she had winnowed it to a perfect home -- just enough furniture and wall art to make an average Cape feel amazingly spacious and comfortable. The paint colors and kitchen design she chose were simultaneously inviting and soothing. The whole house seemed to breathe, "Buy me!!" The name of the company is truly apt: the Cape sold in ONE Day, with two over-list-price offers!!! My husband and I will always be grateful to Natalya Price and NJ Staged 2 Sell! NJStaged2Sell / Natalya Price has a keen eye and natural affinity for designing and organizing…read morespaces. We bought a Summit townhouse that had been decorated by its previous owners in a traditional English style that, to us, seemed dated and unexciting. Funnily enough, it was similar to the décor we had enjoyed all our lives. We gave Natalya two things: a blank canvas to work with and our trust in her vision. The living room /dining room combination comprised the largest space on the first floor. Long and narrow, it felt a bit like a bowling alley. Natalya suggested painting as a first step and advised that an up-to-date neutral Benjamin Moore color AF-95 ("hush") would set the tone. To bring the space together, she selected Benjamin Moore AF-240 ("satchel") as a contrasting color which, when applied to the two end walls, took the space from bowling alley to warm and connected. After the painting was finished, Natalya set out to create and define the two separate living spaces, all the while maintaining a beautiful flow. There were already installed overhead lighting placed strategically to highlight the previous owners' artwork. Our budget was small and we couldn't take on the cost of changing the existing lighting. So, working with what existed, Natalya planned a setting where I could showcase my family art and silver and the existing lighting shone perfectly. My family and I wanted to completely different look in our new townhouse - contemporary, sophisticated and clean. Natalya knew where to shop - online! She recommended sites and offered multiple selections for my consideration. For the living room, truly our family room, we selected her first choice - a beautiful set of living room furniture, two leather club chairs and a sofa in a soft ivory color. To complement those pieces, she found contrasting dark wood tables which, not only finished the look, but provided a lot of storage and more space for showcasing art. Next, we needed an area rug to tie the furniture together. Voila, Natalya and I found on-line a contemporary piece of neutral tones with a whimsical flair. Exactly what I wanted! Next, Natalya recommended shelves and ledges, all found easily and reasonably priced at IKEA. She measured the space using exactly what I wanted to display (no easy task) and installed it perfectly. I consulted her on many other smaller details and Natalya always steered me in the right direction. She stayed within our budget and introduced me to a world of creative ideas and resources I never knew existed. What's more, we had a lot of fun working together.

If I could give ZERO STARS I WOULD I DO NOT USE THEM!!!…read more I never had the opportunity to see the quality of their work. I made an appointment the previous week and received an email confirmation from the designer John after speaking with the office. The time was not my choice because it was smack in the middle of my day off killings my plans. I figured it would be worth it. They told me they mainly do Staten Island and New Jersey and ONLY do Bay Ridge in Brooklyn where I am. I waited and waited and after almost an hour and a half after the appointment time I decided to call their office and did not reach anyone. I left a message and called Johns cell. When I asked him where he is and why he didn't call me if he was going to be late his response was " Are you sure you have an appointment?" I replied that you sent me the email confirming it the day I spoke to the office. John asked me where I was and when I told him he replied "no I won't be able to get there. I said that's not right, I took off from work, I have been stuck home all day. He just said "sorry these things happen". I said REALLY??? When you're in business these things can't and don't happen. If for some strange reason they did then you make things right, you show empathy for you're customer, you call you're other appointments and try to work things out so you don't disappoint the customer you FORGOT!! Social Media can be a blessing or a curse. I am more upset about how he handled it. He expects to get paid for his...what about mine. Hope this will be a great lesson learned for John, Superior Organizing and potential clients. Buyer beware.

They turned it into a garage pantry made by amateur wanna-be handyman.. There are so many other options out there--shop around before signing anything. My experience started with the designer, Pamela, and was disappointing from the beginning. I felt pressured to sign because I was offered "40% off" plus an additional "15% off ONLY if you sign TODAY." Looking back, the whole thing felt like a sales scam/gimmick to me designed to make me sign before I had time to compare other companies. I also never received the clear, concrete and detailed final design documentation I expected. The installation and craftsmanship were horrible in my opinion. The materials looked and felt cheap for such an overpriced product. I dealt with visible holes/supports, poor finishing, damage, and misaligned doors--and after everything they have done, THE DOORS ARE STILL MISALIGNED. Even worse, the original installation had to be reinstalled TWICE--three installations total--and the project is STILL not right. At this point, fixing what was left behind and getting my room to look somewhat normal again will cost me at least another $1,000 out of my own pocket. That is completely unacceptable to me after hiring and paying a supposedly professional custom-design company. I do want to be fair about Marek, the installation/service manager. He was nice, listened and genuinely tried to work with me. Unfortunately, despite his efforts and multiple reinstallations, the end result is still unacceptable. What really adds insult to injury is that after all the mistakes, terrible workmanship, repeated installations, disruption, stress, countless hours of my time, and now the additional expense I will have to incur to fix my room, Closets by Design never offered me any refund, credit or meaningful compensation whatsoever. That's after spending nearly $8K!!! As for Pamela, based on my personal experience, I would never work with her again. If I could go back, I would have not just walked away from the "sign today" pressure and hired another company, I should've ran for dear life and never looked back. For me, the combination of the "today only" discount, the quality of what I received, and the extremely high pricing felt like a complete rip-off. After three installations, my doors are still misaligned, mirrors are crooked, etc. and I am left spending more money to repair the aftermath. Please shop around. There are too many other options to put yourself through what I went through. I absolutely regret choosing Closets by Design and cannot recommend them.
