I went to have my eyebrows threaded and got lip and chin wax. I was greeted by an older woman...she was the only person working. To begin with she didn't even bother to ask me what services I wanted. She motioned for me to sit in the chair to thread my eyebrows. I stopped her and told her I also wanted my face waxed. So she proceeded with threading my eyebrows. She provided me with a mirror after finishing my eyebrows and they looked OK. A little stinging but OK. She then took me back to wax my lip and chin. Another person arrived during the wax. I noticed she applying wax removal at the same time she was still applying wax but did not comment. She finished the waxing and did not bother letting me look in a mirror. She then told me to go to the cash register and took my payment. When I arrived home and looked at my face I was shocked. Around my eyebrows were numerous cuts from the threading. I have NEVER had this experience before. This woman is Edward Scissorhands. I also discovered she did not even halfway remove the facial hairs. My face was oily and my eyebrows were burning. They weren't very warming, i've been to some places that ask me if i need anything to drink and such but they didn't. which is just extra stuff. Then when she told me the price was $70, i was like no way. I usually pay 40-50 for my nails, i don't have the kind of money for $70 a set!!! Also when i went to pay, she asked me if i could use venmo and then when i proceeded to ask if she could use my card she said something along the lines of "it's debit, those have venmo" and i said i didn't have the app. I feel like a professional buisness shouldn't ask for a venmo and they should accept cash or card. overall my nails look good, she took her time on the polish and the shape and im pleased with the quality of my nails.
