Overpriced $53 dollars for simple pedicure and powder manicure . The powder placed on my nails looked darker than what I chose , I was told "it's matte , wait for dry" so I let it be & paid... then I requested to see the sample I chose again ..they had labeled two different shades the same exact number & I showed them , the two girls walked away towards the back never saw them again , Didn't even get an apology it would of sufficed I'm very easy going . I love this nail salon. I mainly come for my eyebrow threading, with Nina. She's the best of the best. Super friendly + great at eyebrows. She used to work at the other location located on the other side of south shore mall, when I heard she was coming to this new salon, I switched places. The interior is beautiful, spotless + all white and bright. They have tons of nail colors to choose from. It's always kind of quiet here, very peaceful. They do a great mani + pedi. Where do I start. My best friend goes to this place because it's close to her house and we figured let's give it a shot the day before we leave to Dominican Republic for her bachelorette party. I was disappointed as soon as we walked in. We were greeted when we walked in and we told them we had an appointment for 2:30.. the greeter's response was TODAY!?! ... yes, today. They had no idea we were coming in although we made the appointment. (Poor organization skills). We were struggling to pick a color and NO help was offered, it was a more like go over there and pick the matching color to your SNS powered yourself (poor customer service skills). We finally get seated for our pedis and the person helping me kept getting up to do other things .. same thing for my best friend (matter of fact, the person who started her pedi wasn't the one that finished it). I expected a nice, relaxing, quite pedicure .. instead, the workers were loudly talking to each other, screaming and you could tell they were actually yelling at each other at times (in front of customers). When it came to my SNS.. the girl messed up two of my nails (twice) and kept having to redo them! It felt soooo rushed and they weren't even busy. Cmon!!! While i was getting my nails done the greeter was just sitting at a station on her phone texting and FaceTiming. I tipped well, left but what drove me to write this review is that even after going through that terrible experience my thumb nail CRACKED on the same day!! Stopped there about 7/8 days ago to get my nails done around 630pm with one of my friends. They took me right away and my friend ended up waiting a good 20 minutes(there were employees sitting on their phones/listening to music.) As soon as I walked in my nail lady said "you come very late" (they don't close for 2 more hours.) Didn't get a chance to find out what the name of the girl who did my nails was but she was very friendly until the end. My nails came to $35 and I ended up giving her a $5 tip. Once I handed her the two twenty's she was rude and didn't really want to hold a conversation. She seemed to be annoyed I only tipped $5. My nails aren't even straight and they didn't even come out that well. I tipped her more than she deserved but I did it for her friendliness. read more

Really not impressed with this place. It's clean and shiny and new, but the workers were not very friendly upon walking in. I tried to make a reservation for myself and a friend but they wouldn't take one, just said come in no wait, and my friend ended up waiting for her manicure until after I was already finished with my pedicure. The nail tech butchered my toes with the cuticle clipper after I told her twice she was hurting me I had to just tell her to stop entirely. $11 for a mediocre manicure is kind of steep but the pedicure was priced at $18 which I feel like is going rate. They don't offer massages after your service either, and the rest of the techs that weren't working were just chatting on their cell phones with their feet up. I won't be going back. read more

Had the worse experience today. Carried my mom with me to get our eyebrows done with Helen, so I showed her a previous picture of myself of the eyebrow shape I wanted (in which she insisted I drew my eyebrows in the pic, however I never draw my eyebrows) .... after this she did my mom's in which the left came out straight and thick and the right had an arch, so I nicely asked her if she could arch my moms left brow to have them match... at this point the woman "Helen" had the audacity to tell me.. I have gotten my nails done here more than once to give it a chance. However every time I leave more disappointed then last time even though I get it done with different people. The last time I went it was only because I was running out of time so I asked for a basic manicure with the most simple design . It didn't come out the greatest or like the picture and it did not make me happy! That is not even the worst part! What bothers me the most is the attitude of the employees and the disrespect they have towards their clients. This happened to me repeatedly and to multiple of my friends. After finishing, i proceeded to pay and the lady asked for a tip. First of all I find asking for a tip to be extremely rude! They actually held onto my debit card until they forced me to give a tip. . This actually happened to my mother, she gave $5 to each of the employees. One who took off her acrylics and the other who did a basic manicure on my little sister. The lady who did my moms asked for more money and gave a disgusting attitude. The fact that she had already given a $5 tip and had the audacity to ask for more ! I will never again go to this establishment and nor will recommend it to anyone. I had high hopes but I was put into a pedicure chair then ignored for 30+ mins. No one was courteous enough to say we're short handed or backed up. When they offered to take me straight to a chair when I arrived I thought the process would be beginning soon. I would have rather waited up front or been told there was 30 minutes + wait and then made my own decision to wait or come back. I'm not in the business of bad reviews. I decided to go here because I always wanted to try it. When I got there they gave me a bunch of old gross nail swatches. My nail tech was Kenny and whenever I go to a new place I'm always nervous about my nail shape because some people are not very good at coffin nails. He shaped them perfectly the only thing I had a problem with is that he did not ask me if I wanted them shorter or asked me if I approved of the shape or double checked them to see if both hands matched. When it was time for the polish that's when it all went wrong. The polish was gel and the brand wasn't a great quality. When he first finnished my nails were covered in tiny air bubbles and he told me that's how the polish was. And I said because it was old polish. He then agreed that it was old and told me it was my fault for picking an old color and showed me brand new swatches the receptionist never gave me. If you know the polish is old why would you give it to me?!?! I then just accepted it because I just wanted to leave. He did not wiped my hands off with a steamed towel or gave me a massage. As I was leaving I noticed my pinkie was super sloppy so I went back and ask for him to re do it. He then felt bad and told me to pick out a new color to redo all my nails. I will give him credit for doing the right thing. He then re did them totally differently and doubled checked everything, they still came out pretty sloppy but he tried. What pissed me off is the first time he half assed them, he just should've done them the right way the first time. Like I said they still came out sloppy and gross but a tiny bit better and barely Any air bubbles. He then told me next time don't pick an old color!! there will be no next time hunny. I made an appointment. Drove 45 mins to go to this nail salon. I asked for a SNS fill in... They did an acrylic fill in on my sns nails. They came out really nice but then I got charged for a SNS fill in. I explained that I liked my nails but that was not what I had got. He didn't even lotion my hands or shape up my cuticals. After only being in the chair for 15 mins and paying way to much money for what I got, the "jewels" I had on each ring finger fell of the next day. And then not one day after that my whole ring finger nail fell off... TWO DAYS!!!! I will never be returning to this place. My bill was $125 for a male manicure and pedicure. A "fill in" and a $35 spa pedicure. Best part is they made sure to wait until I was getting my pedicure to ring my boyfriend up where he has no idea what he's paying for. You know how mechanics take advantage of females... well this nail spa took advantage of him. I tried to say something but they were not hearing me. So I just got yelled at by one of the nail salon employees. I showed him a picture of what I wanted , it was a heart design. But at the end it didn't come out right and told him to go over it again. ( this is after having to remind him to do the design several times ). So already irritated I go to pay for the nails and he's like how much on my card? I tell him the amount that it costs (excluding tip) if I planned on giving him anything at that point it'd be a dollar or two from my car. I would've charged a good tip on my card directly otherwise. He starts screaming at me to get the tip now and holds my card as to not give it back until I did so. So obviously at this point I'm like okay well he definitely is not getting one for having screamed at me in front of the salon on top of the crappy heart design. I proceed to tell him that regardless I didn't like the design. And he continues to hold my card and ask me how I don't have money, to which I replied that I do. Long story short he continued to scream at me whilst holding my card for the next couple of minutes until another employee finally stepped in and charged my card and let me leave. Went to this nail salon the first time over the weekend. I asked for pricing for a fill in and was told $17 plus $10 for a gel color and $5.00 for a two finger design. A pedicure was $18.00. First they were not taking people on a first come first serve basis, my daughters were getting done and they went to help another lady, I had to make a comment and then they took me. Even the other lady was telling them I should go first. The fill-in was ok. She burnt me a few times with the sanding tool and was rushing through it. Then I went for my pedicure, waiting so long the water turned cold. The rushed through that as well. Not very relaxing. The best was when they gave me the bill. They said $44.00 I told them they were crazy. The said the fill in was $20 because I have long nails. The design is supposed to be $5.00 per finger. Excuses, Excuses. I told them to read their menu of services. The finally dropped my bill to the $32.00 - but I will NEVER go back. They just make pricing up as they go along. read more

I was taken back and the tech started and didn't even ask what type of pedicure I wanted but I noticed she was rushing me. When I mentioned I wanted a deluxe pedicure and manicure she rolled her eyes. She was scheduled to leave at 8 pm and didn't want to do the extra work. She said if I wanted to have the deluxe I had to wait for someone else. I went in 2 days ago to get my a full set I had called earlier and asked the price for a regular full set and they had told me 27. I walk in and they immediately sit me down without letting me pick a color. I ask them if I can go pick a color and she tell me no because there is gel and I asked if it was the same price and she said no it's $10 dollars more, I said no because I didn't want to spend that much money, I asked her to round the edges on my square nails and she said that would be an extra $10. She ended up putting gel on my nails and charged me for it. I'm very upset because I felt forced to get gel and forced to pay almost $50 dollars when all I went in for was a regular full set! Never going back, it's not right to force customers. Nina is the #1 person to go to if you are looking to get your eyebrows threaded she is the only person who has ever touched my eyebrows with thread and will be the only person to do them! Cherlyn is the top notch for manicures ! I always get the powder gel and they last me for about 3 1/2 weeks! She makes them the perfect thickness and makes my working hands look BEAUTIFUL. She is such a pleasure to talk to! She does the manicure to the fullest! Cuticle oil massage file everything ! Pedicures are also amazing here. If you are looking for some where to unwind and relax the deluxe pedicures here are AWESOME. Sonny is also extremely talented as well as all the other employees. They are all wonderful and friendly!
