Super excited to share my experience at Oren's Hummus (Los Gatos). It was a wonderful GLUTEN-FREE experience! I ordered falafels, Oren's Eggplant dip and gluten-free pita bread. All were very flavorful! They use separate friers for gluten-free items. The gf pita bread was soft, and freshly baked. The staff was friendly and very helpful with the menu. You can also get some items to go. (including GF pita bread!)

Tried Oren's Hummus for the first time and had the Chicken Hummus Bowl with pita bread. It was absolutely delicious! The hummus was super smooth and flavorful, probably one of the best I've had. It had this perfect balance of creaminess and rich, savory depth that really stood out. The grilled chicken on top was tender and well-seasoned. The pita bread was soft and warm and sturdy enough to scoop up the hummus. Simple dish, but done right. If you're a hummus fan, you have to try it! My waiter was super gracious and friendly and that really made the experience feel even better. I also learned that they have wine happy hour on Mon-Thurs 3-5pm. I can't wait to come back next time for happy hour!

Oren's is one of my families absolute favorite places. Somehow in my running errands today I ordered my food from the Cupertino one and went to the Los Gatos one. Blame it on jet lag I guess... However the people were so kind and allowed me to still get my food at this location and not have to repay. I tried but Carolina would not let me. Exceptional service all around. Thank you!

I've always seen Oren's Hummus on social media and was happy to finally try it! Delicious hummus and amazing pita bread, definitely lived up to its hype. The hummus is flavorful and dense, pita bread comes out steaming warm. Surprisingly very filling given the carbs and dense hummus. We enjoyed the Jaffa Hummus more than the eggplant because the pine nuts gave the hummus some texture along with the nice garlicky taste. Eggplant was also really good though! The servers here were super attentive and made sure everything was going okay, including checking to ensure our waters were filled. The hummus sampler was a nice way to try different hummus -- all were delicious too! Would definitely come back to try other items.

I cleared my plate by the end--everything was just that good! From the fresh salad to the warm pita and perfectly seasoned chicken, every bite was delicious. My friend is obsessed with the hummus, and I have to agree--it's amazing! This spot in downtown Los Gatos has plenty of seating, both indoors and outside. Ordering is a breeze: you line up, order, find a table, and they bring the food to you. Our server was tentative, checking in and kept our water filled. Great food, easy vibe--definitely worth a visit!"

*First time review* dined indoors I was greeted by a pleasant young gal at the front. She walked me through the menu since it was a quieter night and I was waiting for my parents to show up. She recommended the chicken as well as the falafel. That's what I got! Chicken - super juicy, flavorful and loved the basmati rice. Falafel - green one, insanely good! Funny enough I don't really care for falafel but I am glad I gave these a shot! Can't wait to go back for more I also don't care for smoked flavors and ordered the one non-smoked appetizer was so good too! I will definitely come back again

Hummus is big enough that two people can share ! Lamb was a bit salty and too rich to eat too much Didn't realize the chicken schnitzel was dark meat, would have been better white meat. Service was great, everyone kept asking if we needed anything and our eaters were always filled.

I wasn't even remotely hungry after I ate my lemon bars but I decided to stop in there and get a sample of Babaganoosh and ended up ordering a gluten free order of it with cauliflower. The guy who took my order was really nice! It's very cute and clean in here! I love hummus and Middle Eastern food so this is perfect.

Dinner was romantic, food was excellent, the wait staff took really good care of us. When I found Dio Deka I thought I had discovered a new restaurant, but I was surprised to find that the place was well established over 22 years. The place felt more like a traditional steakhouse, which I was later told was indeed a former one. We immediately were welcomed by friendly staff members and a "Happy Anniversary" card at our table. I noticed that the many tables were recognized by special occasions, which was thoughtful. Our table was in an intimate corner next the fireplace. The fireplace was not lit since it was a warm Spring day. That said, I could see our table being a highly requested one during colder days. Overall service was top notch. Food came out in a timely manner. I never felt that we had long gaps between dishes. Our waiter was awesome. Don't remember his name, but he was a young gentleman who was friendly, attentive, and helpful with food recommendations. One of the managers stopped by, and he also was very hospitable. I enjoyed everything I ate... They kicked us off with avocado pistachio jalapeno mousse amuses-bouches. We got spanikotiropita and the Horiatiki "Village Salad" to share. I liked that the spanikotiropitas were small bite sizes, and the phyllo dough was so crispy. Their horiatiki was what I expected in a classic Greek salad, but the fresh feta and crisp veggies made it a notch above the rest. It was addictive, and I could eat plates of it. We hit home runs with the entrees: moussaka and the lamb shank. I am a huge fan of moussaka and thought that Dio Deka's was delicious. I also liked how they built the moussaka layers in a cast iron dish, which kept the moussaka warm and gooey with every bite. The lamb was tender and fell off the bone, and it sat on perfectly cooked al dente pastina. I wish I had room for dessert, but we were treated with chocolate mousse mignardises.

Call us basic but we always start with the tzatziki and pita bread. Nobody does tzatziki better than Dio Deka. During our last visit, we also shared horiatiki village salad which is essentially a Greek salad. As for entrees, my hubs enjoyed the wagyu short ribs and I had the scallops. Both were very delicious. Finished off the meal with the most decadent baklava cheesecake. We've tried a couple of desserts on their menu but the baklava cheesecake is definitely our favorite. We can't wait to go back to try other dishes.

The amount of food we got made the price worth it. By the time we were done with the cold and hot appetizers, we were already stuffed. They then brought out the entrees, which were so delicious we kept eating. And the desserts were the perfect finish to an already amazing meal. Special highlights were the manti with garlic yogurt, artichoke with poached shrimp, lamb chops with dill-potato wedges, and the baklava. 1st time here. A friend invited me to join her, and said it was where many of her co-workers ate…read more The short version is: my meal was very sub-par, and way over-priced. The details: I normally don't eat a lot of meat, so I chose the Falafel Salad. It came with extremely little lettuce, plus a few olives (which I don't eat), onions (which I also eat sparingly), tomatoes, cucumbers, and the falafel balls. Oh! And there was feta cheese, but those were such miniscule pieces, and so few, that I wouldn't have remembered it was supposed to be part of the salad, if I didn't just pull up a photo online with their ordering system. What you see in the photo online is not what you get. The photo actually looks like a salad. Since it was called a salad, I expected there to be more lettuce, than the few pieces on the plate. I mainly was cutting up the cucumber & tomato pieces to go with the falafels. I don't even recall any dressing. There were also some pita slices with what I assumed was hummus. Whatever the dip was, it did not taste good to me at all. So I left all of the pita bread, as well, since it was dry without anything on it. Maybe what I assumed was hummus was a dressing. Hard to know, but it was not tasty. For the $27 I paid at a walk up counter, I would have expected much better food! I have bought frozen falafels at Lunardis (around $7) and made a salad for them at home, and enjoyed it very much, which is why I ordered it. I have purchased Spanakopita at the store many times, (about $5 for around 12 of them at the store) and made them at home, which is why I didn't order that. The falafel salad was not an enjoyable meal for me at Yiassoo's. I'd also seen some reviews from a few years back that said they paid around $10 or $11 for their meal. That is more in-line price-wise with what you get, based upon my meal. With most of the meals around $20 for lunch, I feel they were very over-priced. I also asked my friend if she'd like to split a Baklava. They had a pistachio one & chocolate one. My friend wanted to try the chocolate one, so I bought that. I didn't think I was too into baklava, but thought it might be nice to try at this highly rated Greek restaurant. The main flavor that came through was the honey & nuts. The chocolate was just a tiny, narrow drizzle on top. I didn't hate it, but I would never order it again. My friend took one bite, and said she mainly tasted the honey, and would take it home for her husband. It may be very good baklava, but it was not to our tastes. My friend ordered the Gyro salad. It had a large pile of shaved meat, and she seemed to enjoy it. She ordered it To-Go, as she knew she'd be taking some of it home. She seemed to have more lettuce under her pile of meat than my meal got. Maybe because it was in a To-Go box, which might be larger than the plate? Or maybe the person making my salad just wasn't paying attention to how to make a decent meal. I was hoping I was trying a restaurant that I could go back to for something different. Based upon my experience, I would not go back, if I had a choice. I gave it 3 stars, because maybe other dishes, or people looking to just eat meat or falafel balls and not much else would enjoy it. I only have the 1 meal to review, but it does not encourage me to try it again. Overpriced & not a fulfilling meal.

I came into the restaurant asking how long my order would take, she said 10 minutes. Although there were chairs and tables under an eave, I chose to go to the car. All the while smiling:) I ordered via yelp because we were starving and easily this restaurant has their menu in organized and visually appealing. Their descriptions and the variety of selections and customizations on point. My husband said he wasn't hungry but then saw the food and we scarfed it all down. He gave it 8.5 and said would come back. I ordered pickled vegetables which I thought was going to be onions but I think it's actually cabbage. Not my preference so I will take that home to the parents. Did order yogurt dip- husband was a fan. The chicken thigh and filet were so tender. I had put a note on the order for medium rare. I wouldn't call that medium rare but it was tender nonetheless. I'm sad I had to pay extra for a half of a Roma tomato, salad and lavash- the lavash I saw it in the add-ons menu so I assumed it wasn't in there. Ended up with so much lavash. No need to buy extra. The entire thing came up to $63-ish. The food was 4/5 but service was 5/5! I know this economy has everyone struggling. This was probably the most I have spent on Mediterranean food. I would have expected $45-$50. We just came back from Turkey so this would have costed us $15-$20 USD. Portions for rice and meat were good though! All in all- would come back!

I always ordered the chicken dish, so when it came out this time, I was genuinely confused. The menu describes it as having a garlicky yogurt sauce, but there was none. I even checked their website afterward, and the dish I received looked nothing like the one advertised. I also looked through recent reviews and photos from other customers, and even those dishes looked very different from what we were served. If the recipe or sauce changed, I really think customers should be informed. When I asked the waitress, she explained that it now comes with a zhoug sauce instead, but that isn't mentioned anywhere on the menu. Oddly enough, the same sauce was also used on the Dorada fish dish. We also used to love the lamb, but they changed that dish too by removing the sauce and couscous base. I'm not sure why the changes were made, but it's just not the same anymore. Overall, it was really disappointing, especially since we chose to spend Mother's Day here. The food quality has definitely gone downhill. On top of that, the restaurant seemed extremely understaffed -- there appeared to be only about three servers working the entire floor all night. The ambiance was still decent, but the overall experience just didn't feel like the Meso we used to love. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place anymore.
