I have been living in New York City for 15 years and for those years I have been in search of an outstanding dentist. After switching dentists quite a few times, my best friend suggested that I reach out to Dr. Rahmanan. She swears by him and how each visit just goes so smooth for her. Of course everyone is different but with my bad experiences I knew it couldn't get any worse. The rest is history because I found my dentist and will follow him wherever he goes. For my first visit I was totally impressed how Dr. Rahmanan took his time to talk to me, answered all my questions and explained explicitly in detail how he's going to perform his procedure. He assured me that it will be as painless and comfortable with the work that he was doing for me. I had over 10 cavities and I didn't even feel the needle that went inside my mouth. Throughout the whole process I was at ease. All my cavities are fixed now and I feel great. Dr. Rahmanan and his staff are extremely professional, friendly and competent. I will be recommending my entire family and my friends to go see him. Dr. Rahmanan only uses the best material and takes his time. I was never a fan of the dentist growing up but this is the spot! I've been coming to Dr Rahmanan's office for a couple of years now and have always had a great experience here. Everyone in the office is very nice and welcoming. Though Dr Rahmanan does not do my cleanings anymore, he makes sure to come in after the fact to chat and keep me informed about the health of my teeth. I never leave the office concerned or worried about the potential lack of information. In terms of the cleanings, I love that they still pull up Pandora and let it play. Dr. Rahmanan was extremely patient and understanding when I talked to him about my dental phobias (which were pretty gnarly, with crazy anxiety attached). He does everything he can to make my experiences in his office calm and easy to handle. I used to panic before a dental appointment, but now it's no biggie. The other day my wisdom teeth started killing me and Dr. Rahmanan took the time to email back & forth with me to find an oral surgeon. I knew I was a changed woman when I was told my teeth needed to be extracted right then & there and not even the slightest twinge of anxiety came across my mind. Dr. Rahmanan is AWESOME! My wonderful boyfriend did some in depth research to find a trustworthy dentist for me because I went through HELL before we found this guy. Long story short: I had been going to a dentist down on wall street who basically did subpar work on not one, but TWO crowns.. I'm only 23 and have had more issues than a "normal" kid my age usually does because of the previous dentist's bad work. Basically, I've had some trust issues and a bit of anxiety when It comes to finding the right dentist. Lo and behold, along came Mr. Rahmanan! I went in a couple of times for a consultation/cleaning/fillings over the period of a few months, procrastinating getting my bad crown fixed.. But today, I took the leap and got it done! Dr. Rahmanan and his lovely assistant were very down to earth and made me feel right at home.. even though I was a little shaky, they kept checking in with me to see how I was hanging in there. Dr. Rahmanan seems to have incorporated a little Pandora into his routine as well, asking me to throw out an artist for my listening pleasure (I of course chose a little David to the Bowie) and jammed out while I was having my crown magically fixed. I had very little pain.. just a few pinches from the injections of the needle, but other than that.. Fantastic! I highly recommend Dr. Rahmanan! He and his staff are incredibly friendly, efficient and worth going to if you have a little "Dental Anxiety". Let's be real, who loves they're dentist.... I do I do.... My teeth never felt cleaner, stronger, better, sexier. My pearly whites were do for some work..... They cleaned the shit outta my teeth, fixed & replaced one filling, and caught a cavity before it became a problem. Everything was super dooper easy. I found Dr. Rahmanan on Yelp after I chipped my front tooth while in New York on business. I had chipped the tooth when I was young and had a cap for almost 29 years. I called his office and his staff took me in the same day. There was barely a wait, considering it was a last minute appointment. Dr. Rahmanan and his staff took a mold of my tooth and were able to create my cap within less than 2 hours. Dr. Rahmanan is competent and has a way to make to anyone feel at ease. He also made a potentially uncomfortable procedure pain free. It was a challenging procedure given that he had to still had to remove the previous cap and place on a new one but his impeccable skills made the whole procedure seem like a dental cleaning. He was quick and efficient. After he was done it looked and felt better than my previous cap. Best dentist I've had. read more

Both visits were easy to schedule bc his office is right in Rockefeller Center and the people that schedule appointments for him were quick to get back to me. A++ Due to a few rough dentists and numbing issues, I am terrified of the dentist. A few years ago I found a wonderful dentist that I adored but due to changes in my insurance I had to leave him. I was so disappointed because I really didn't think I would find someone as good as he was. Luckily, I was completely wrong! Dr. Rahmanan is fantastic! Not only is he sociable, kind and patient, but he took the time to explore the cause for my anxiety and made helpful suggestions. Additionally, he gave painless shots of Novocaine. I knew he was a keeper when during my third visit my palms didn't begin to sweat the moment I sat in the chair. Finally, I have yet to wait more than 3 mins for any appointment. On most occasions they are ready for me the moment I walk through the door, which is a stark contrast to most doctors in NYC. Kindness and patience is not limited to the Dr. himself. The office staff, assistants and hygienists are also top notch! I've had no issues with appointments or billing and they always greet me with a smile. When asked, out of 10 how afraid are you of dental work, I bravely put 9, so for me Dr Rahmanan is the perfect dentist. He always takes great care to ensure that you are comfortable and have everything you could need. With me he was very patient and his first concern was that I was happy and comfortable and he performed quick and solid dental work. He has also taken great care to explain more about my dental history and how it affects my current teeth and has provided some great recommendations that have improved my toothcare at home. Finallly, I suffered headaches related to what I thought was a tooth infection while I was without insurance for a long time. While I was seeing Dr Rahmanan about another issue, he performed a very quick fix on the tooth that was causing the problem. He guessed differently and adjusted some previous work by another dentist and since then the situation has improved greatly. Overall, I am very happy that I chose this office. read more
