Upon starting my bike on day two of our trip I noticed my bike(a 2012 Yamaha FJR) making what sounded like an exhaust leak. Unable to determine the cause and not wanting to ride the bike in that condition I Googled motorcycle repair shops in the area and found LMS Motorsports. Since it was only a few miles from our hotel I rode directly there so I would be there when they opened at 9am. I was cheerfully greeted by Sherry only to find out the shop only works on off road motorcycles and ATV's. Jeff,(who I assume is the owner) overheard us talking and came over to ask what the problem was. I explained it to him and he said "let's take a look". I started the bike, he stuck his head down by the exhaust and said without any hesitation "I can fix that, drive it around the back". Fifteen minutes later(and a quick TIG weld) I was on my way and able to finish our ride without and further incidents. Turns out they know how to make it worse! And go straight to looking for more problems prior to doing what I had asked them to accomplish for us. Over $2000 later and 3 trips of bringing it back didn't help whatsoever! So when spoke to Jeff at LMS, he already had an idea of what happened. He came to pick up the machine, repaired it and brought it back. Corrected the work that the dealer claimed they already had done. Did even more things than I had expected, plus cost less than the dealer. I reached out to the Dealership owner showing him the invoice for what I just had done. No response, I'm not too surprised! After 10 years of being a customer and buying 2 new machines from them, he could care less to make it right! So be aware that the local Polaris shop is not capable of doing it right and especially for what they charge! LMS came through for Us! Thanks Jeff Foster!

As a woman, an "older" woman at that, I wasn't sure what kind of reception I'd receive. Terri, the owner (and daughter of the founder) welcomed, encouraged, and assured me that I could do this! She helped me pick out my perfect starter bike. When I had questions about my bike after dropping her, the service department didn't judge, but made sure I had all the tools I needed to be successful. When I found myself challenged by different riding scenarios they always had tips for me. The icing on the cake is the extra work they put in to help my husband with a surprise of massive proportions when he bought me a new bike for our 30th anniversary this year. Today I'm happy to say I know several D&S employees by name, feel welcome when I'm there, and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Since we were passing D & S anyway, we dropped by to price a new piece for the one lost on Interstate 5. A manager, Josh, overheard our dilemma and mentioned that there was an 'old' one in the back that would fit my buddy's Heritage. Josh then proceeded to install the pipe he found, test drove the bike and didn't even charge for the impromptu service he had performed! We couldn't believe it! He sat in the hot sun fixing a 'hot' bike, and renewed our faith in D & S with his kindness and help. FIVE stars for sure, and I'd give more if I could!

He responded quickly and was professional and very helpful and knowledgeable. We ordered an ATV from him and he made sure it was delivered on time before Christmas. The process couldn't be more seamless and stress free. He was very impressive with his service and we then wanted to buy a dirt bike. Sure enough, he knew his stuff and asked all the important questions to make sure we got exactly what we needed and wanted. Again, he pulled it off and got it delivered BEFORE Christmas! I'm so glad we did business with this shop. We bought a couple other off road vehicles from a shop in a near by city here in Sonoma County previously and I just didn't like that place. It just felt off. Jeremy is a great guy and won't upsell on anything you don't need. He's very honest and cares about his customers and that goes a long way. We, as a small business owner, truly appreciate and respect that type of work ethic and attention to detail in what you do. I limped about 15 miles into Medford and had breakfast and made a closer inspection. I had one of the Exhaust Studs sheared off flush with the engine head. A call to the Harley Dealer only to find that they were bucked and couldn't take me in that day. Starting my now very loud bike a local Motorcycle L.E.O. questioned it and told me about the "BEST HARLEY SHOP IN THE AREA" He was kind enough to lead me to the (THUNDERSTRUCK CUSTOM BIKE SHOP) That shop was booked but the Crew stopped their projects to help me, (a traveler) It needed to have the engine head pulled to get the broken stud removed. With no time to do it that day, the mechanic said that he could put a Temporary Fix on it that would get me back on the road. An hour later, a thick Exhaust Gasket and some special goo, I was back on the highway. I can only say the greatest things about the Mechanic at THUNDERSTRUCK, the work they did for me and the custom work I saw being done in their shop. I would recommend THUNDERSTRUCK for any work to be done on a Harley Davidson. By the way, that was over 1,400 miles ago and the patch job is still holding like new. Thanks to all at Thunderstruck. (I had replaced the gas cap, which fixed the problem, but didn't know I reset the code system.) They could have told me it needed an expensive, plausible, but unnecessary repair. The only thing I'd recommend is that they install a more visible sign on the road. This place was hard to find!

Jason at Janzer Automotive took us in immediately (between other jobs they were already working on). He then drove over to get the parts needed. He changed the pads and fixed a sticky caliper. All in less than two hours and a very good price. I highly recommend this garage.
