I was looking for a solution that did not involve ripping out the walls and rewiring the equipment. Other providers, site unseen, said the problem was X and here is the cost... all of which would likely involve rewiring. Source was willing to come out, review the issue, and take time to educate me on the problem and solutions. Yes, the ultimate solution we decided upon was not cheap (especially as I could have done it myself for much less), but I felt the time, expertise, and education were well worth the extra cost. I have not had a reoccurrence of the problem since the service, which is great! Further, if the problem begins again, I have been armed with an understanding of what is involved and the scope of what is would come next. Good people, good service

Doug Palmer was the only one to reply to us in a timely manner. They got someone to us as soon as they could and were able to get the problem solved quickly and efficiently. We assumed the price for such a quick emergency fix was going to be excessive (my brother in law is an electrician on the east coast, suggested it would be expensive) but the price came in at 1/3rd of what we were expecting to pay. The invoice we received had a detailed description of what they fixed. The only hiccup was that there was no explanation of how to pay visible on the invoice we received, but calling in connected me to a very helpful person who got things figured out for us. Could not have asked for better service, pricing, or assistance. I will absolutely be using them again for any future electrical issues.

When our EC charger for our Nissan Leaf suddenly stopped charging, we contacted Johnsen Electric,…read morewhom we have received great service from in the past. The next day the electrician, Tanner, came to our home garage to assess the cause for the loss of charging. Tanner was very courteous, professional, and efficient in determining the cause of our problem. On the phone, Tanner skillfully followed all the troubleshooting steps instructed by the company's technical representative. This would have been a very confusing, tedious procedure if we had to do it ourselves! This troubleshooting process clearly resolved that the charger had malfunctioned and would need to be replaced by ChargePoint. Without hesitation, once we receive a replacement charger, we will have Johnsen Electrical install it! James Monroe and Julie Williams
