We stopped into Ago and Nathan greeted us with a friendly smile and lots of knowledge! He made our daughter feel completely comfortable, she picked out her earrings and was a very brave girl! I highly recommend this studio for all of your piercing desires! Thank you Nathan for being caring and professional.

Was about to spend $500 when I was told my GC of less than a year was "expired" which is against Oregon and federal law. They are trying to get around GC laws by claiming it is studio credit but website clearly states "gift card." Overall very disappointing as we have spent $1000s at this studio and weren't finished with piercings or jewelry. Have even worked with them to design/specially order jewelry. Beyond that, tried to be calm and respectful but was obviously upset at them just taking $100 from us and the sales person was incredibly snotty and rude in response. While we enjoyed our piercings and they have good jewelry, we'll take our business elsewhere as Oregon, luckily, has lots of great studios.

BUT they gave me jewelry that was way too snug for the healing process, due to swelling it was too small even when they put it in my lip. I could tell because they were struggling to put the ball onto the bar. I left the store with ONE bottle of cleaner and realized I didn't know how to clean my piercings. I went back in to ask and wasn't properly informed just told to soak/ rinse with clean hands, don't use Q-tips and don't twist, don't touch with dirty hands. That was it. I ran out of cleaner weeks ago and had no idea I've still been needing to clean it. which is embarrassing though I had NO IDEA how to take care of it these are my first ever face piercings. now I'm terrified abt infection and have a fever/ in a lot of pain. I'm Upset and concerned it was a waste of money I was really excited and have been seriously let down. I spent a lot of money and am now in a lot of pain spending more money in order to fix this. unfortunately i wouldn't recommend this place to people due to lack of information about cleaning as that's such an important part of this process! I honestly wouldn't even trust them to try and fix my piercings. Warning the photo is pretty nasty!!

I still think of this building as their "new location" even though they've been here at least 15 years. Almost everyone I know has gotten a piercing from here, or multiple, including myself, and we've been going since the late 90s. My experience has been pretty good with all the piercers I've had over the years. My most recent piercing here was yesterday when I got my daith pierced. This is one that was a little more painful than some of the others, though not super painful; perhaps close to when I had my navel done. But I think any added pain was because it's going through two parts of the ear instead of just a single poke and done. The staff here is pretty good. They're very friendly and generally pretty helpful in helping you select jewelry, though you may need to ask them to show you all of the jewelry that would work for your selected piercing; I'm not sure why, but they always seem to show me just one or two displays until I tell them to just show me everything that works for the piercing. Their selection of jewelry has significantly improved in the last few years; they've moved past just the hoop with captive bead ring to more high end pieces like stuff from BVLA. That also means that things can get expensive depending upon the jewelry you want. The piercing itself only cost $35, but of course you need to buy the jewelry separately. So far so good; my newest piercing is doing well and looks great. I'm very pleased with it and look forward to coming back again sometime for my next one. This location has a few parking spaces, including a disabled space right in front of the door, but I've never really had a problem parking when I've come here.

It is not the same as what I was shown in their display case but they wrap it up so you can not tell. No returns. Jewelry is very poor quality. Avoid unless you are drunk dumb rich college kid. This is a shame to see what happened to the 1990s Eugene OG. When they are they only one to buy from, they decided on a gouge once and forgo repeat business from anyone local. To ask for $10 to "help place the piercing in you" (already pierced) is outrageously rude. If I spend $50 for a $7 stud, the business does not care about providing customer service. The most ridiculous thing this place is selling is that the jewelry is ethical and handmade. It is not, the company HQ is in Seattle but holds an import license with Bali. Rich white kids who found "Buddha" found something to buy cheap and resell. Don't be fooled by "handmade" claims. This junk is being sold at 5x the cost of the low quality gold content weight. Newbies to the industry should know this company they support are marketing experts, not artisans or jewelry makers. This "jewelry" business has been around a very long time and anyone who saw piercing rise in the 1990s knows the least ethical rose to the top by deception. You can purchase it online for half the cost. Would love to know how many countless students over decades have been bamboozled by false marketing and regretted their decisions.
