Happy Saturday ! I've just found out what everyone else in the Valley already knew and that is Oreganos is an "Awesome" place to eat, let loose, and have a great time. You know that you've discovered something special when the place opened at 11:00 and there was a line to get in.. The atmosphere was great and I was greeted by Serena who not only had a great attitude but made suggestions as well and then I met Cassie who made the best Margarita and Sangria that I've ever had. You can tell when people enjoy what they do and Serena and Cassie along with tasty food are the reason that I'll be back with friends. Great News Travels Fast ! Keep up the great work ! Oregano's - Pizza Near Me - Glendale, Arizona

630 pm on a Saturday night, the place was busy...and our server Colleen was amazing! She was super friendly and always smiling. She kept our drinks full and made sure we were always happy! Colleen is hands down the best server we have had in a very long time! Colleen, thank you for making our night enjoyable!,,,,, Our food was also tasty and hot! I left extra stuffed.... Food is pretty good. Last few times I've ordered take out they have been 20 to 30 minutes late with the food. Watch others with orders due after my scheduled pickup come in and grab their orders and leave while I'm still waiting. The only complaint is that even with a 30 minute delay in making my order available they did not offer a comp or anything other than an apology. read more

What in the world has happened to what was once a really decent place to get Italian food and pizzas? I received a gift card to this place and decided to go there on a Tuesday night. We got there about 4:30, just before the dinner rush. We were seated right away but waited a bit for our drinks (iced tea.) Our orders were taken a bit later but it took quite a while to receive our food, even though there were only 2 or 3 other tables with guests. There appeared to be quite a few orders going out for pick up. Friend ordered baked rigatoni and I got the shrimp with spaghetti. These meals came with one piece of garlic bread and nothing else. No salad, no soup. It was an awkward wait between our drinks and the time it took to deliver our food. The rigatoni was very dry, in a very dry, unappetizing looking dough bowl. The shrimp was very rubbery and the noodles were different lengths, like someone took longer noodles and randomly broke them. The "sauce" was good, but everything else tasted sort of metallic. Friend left the majority of their meal and I left about a third... Unheard of for us foodies. We don't plan to return, ever. read more

Great pizza! Fun atmosphere and great service. Very good for take out too if you don't want to wait an hour or more for a table. Always a fun experience! read more

Oregano's is my families favorite place to eat. Every time I am in town from Dallas I make sure to come here. The thin crust and salad along with pretty much the whole menu is amazing and affordable! read more

The service is great, the food is good, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The wait can be long if you go during dinner time.

One of the best Italian places in Phoenix. Great pizza (deep dish or thin crust), pasta or sandwiches. You can't go wrong with any choice. I wish they were nationwide. read more

Everything was so awesome! There wasn't even a wait! We got our wings in about 10 minutes and our pizza right after (which was amazing). Our server Colleen was so great! She continued to check on us and even got us Pepsis to go! Our experience tonight was incredible. I highly recommend this location! read more

The food is always wonderful--and portions are huge (always leave with enough leftovers for another meal.) I am so happy Yelp offers a waitlist now--because the biggest obstacle to us frequenting there more is the long wait. read more

Honestly, everything is so good here. I love how they have gluten free options for those who are allergic. I really appreciated that

We were impressed with the "live wait time" feature and it helped make our dinner decision. According to the wait time, we were to be seated in 15 to 25 minutes. Well, an hour and a half later my very grumpy family was seated. Moral of this story: Don't rely on this feature and be prepared to wait a long time to eat here. read more

This place far exceeded our expectations. Based on the reviews, we knew it was going to be good. From the second we walked in, on a Friday night no less, we had incredible service. We did have to wait but again, it was a Friday night. The service was outstanding as it didn't feel like we had only 1 server. It felt as though multiple people were helping to make sure our experience was a good one. I cannot wait to come here again and again and again. Do yourself and your family a favor and come eat here. read more

Manager mike called and explained what going on in the kitchen so I will hope things get better at oreganos because we really like the pizza if it's made with care. Will update after more visits! read more

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT! The children they have working here are so incompetent. They have no idea how to accommodate parties larger than 4 guests. We waited over an hour and still couldn't be seated together. We atleast expected to have great service but unfortunately, our waitress was so rude. She wasn't apologetic at all, slammed our plates on the table, and rolled her eyes when we asked for bread. We had to ask for a new server. Completely ruined our family dinner. read more

We ordered a number one pizza and a Pablo Picasso. Kinda disappointed. The pizza was super salty and the lettuce was very wilted. I love Oregano's but if they don't step it up a little I'll have to stop going there. very sad.... read more

Oregano's is a great restaurant. It has a casual and jovial atmosphere that takes you back to America's Golden Age. The food comes out in large portions and is always satisfying. I highly recommend the pizzucci, a chocholate chip cookie baked in a springform pan and served with scoops of ice cream on top! read more

The food and service at this restaurant is always fantastic! This is a perfect spot for picking food up after work, meeting friends and family etc. The management is super involved and you feel like you're family when you're here (move over Olive Garden). The servers are fantastic, i wish I knew all of their names but if you get a chance to be served by Donald you are in for a treat. He's a hard worker, very friendly, and knows the menu like the back of his hand. Kick Pizza Hut to the curb and come get some food at Oreganos! read more

Good food. Generous portions. Be prepared to wait for a table. They're always crowded. They should build bigger restaurants (chain). Pizza is great and the pasta dishes are good. Salads are huge, so be careful when ordering. Servers are friendly and drinks are good. read more

We had a party of 15 tonight for my birthday. Was about an hour wait which wasn't anyone's fault but we waited. Once we got sat, our waiter was quick with drinks and getting our order in. I wanted to give a big shoutout to our waiter but I can't remember his name. A few things were messed up/forgotten but I know when you have other tables and are trying to stay on top of a big party it can get a little confusing. He did a great job with keeping a smile on his face when I know the old folks in our party were getting fussy/impatient. Anyway, the food was great and they really took care of us. read more

Recently started going to Oregano's as a first time customer, the past 2 visits have been great. Seems to be a great atmosphere and never had issues with service, the service is actually the part that will keep me coming back! Memorable waiters, first visit we were assisted by Donald, he was great very attentive and always made sure we were good to go with everything, his serving techniques were great always said "I Got You!" It was funny! Second trip maybe 2 weeks later we were taken care of by Nick, yet again great service and made sure our whole dining experience was as good as possible! Very cool guy and when we asked about who our server was named the last time because my girlfriend and I couldn't quiet put a finger on it he knew exactly who we were talking about and imitated Donald's serving routine. Great conversations and great food, will keep us both coming back! read more

My daughter and I love this place! The portions are huge, the prices fair, the waitstaff is always so nice and accommodating! We love sitting at the bar, it's fast amazing service! Annie waited on us and even though she was busy we still had great service! We will keep coming back! read more

Seriously... Was looking forward to it after all the great reviews. Absolutely awful! Wings were over done, pizza was swimming in cheese and our dessert cookie wasn't even kind of cooked, it was literally raw in the middle. Service was mediocre at best! Totally overrated. Will not be coming back. read more

The best place to get food from. Love the staff, all ways fast and nice. Great food to take home or eat there. All way asked by coworkers, that smalls so good where did you get it? I tell them and they take their family to eat there and just have praise for the time they spend at Oregano's. read more

One of my favorite go to places for great food at a great price. So many favorites to choose from that we always try something new. Never have been disappointed read more

Oh my god I am so IN LOVE with this place!!! From the minute you walk in the door you're greeted with so much yummy ness and I'm not just talking about the food, which is equally yummy!!! As soon as you walk in there is a HUGE pile of candy peppermints it sparks the little kid in me and I want to grab handfuls and run off. As I turned the corner I see a pile of fortune cookies I mean is this place trying to make me fall in love or what?! Everything from the Italian colors, to the decor, the little TVs playing old school movies and THE MUSIC it is so intoxicatingly FUN! Our waitress Heather was AMAZING and being greeted by Michael was a special treat! Now I know why this place is always so packed every time we've driven by and I'm so sad we waited so long to try it but definitely worth the wait! Omg and the food!!!!! What a wonderful family friendly place and perfect touch to my mother-daughter day! If you haven't been here GO RIGHT NOW! Stop reading and GO! read more

Came here after walking out of the dumpy Mexican place across the street. I couldn't be happier with the experience here. Was greeted by three people at the front door and immediately seated. Being from Chicago and from the pizza business, I was skeptical but, the place smelled right. Joseph waited on us and was great. We had a 16" half cheese and half sausage thin crust. The sausage and sauce were just like some of Chicago's best. The crust was a little thin for me but, crispy and tasted great. I will be coming back here with the rest of my family soon. HIGHLY recommend that you try this place if you want Chicago style pizza. read more

I've been curious about Oregano's pizza, and today decided to call in for a take out. I ordered a ten inch deep dish mushroom pizza. I was told it would be ready in forty minutes. This to me, seems crazy. It was ready in twenty five minutes. I was so disappointed. It smelled wonderful but unfortunately it was tasteless. On top of the pizza was what seemed to be a handful of canned diced tomatoes on top of the cheese. The dough was tough at the edges, like they used old dough. I would not return to this restaurant, nor would I recommend it. read more

Parts are great, but not as impressed as others made me think. Went 4 times. Meatballs great! Salad could be smaller pieces to eat easily. Pasta dishes with cheese was slightly blan, service great first time, second time slow, third time slow, fourth time speedy but smaller portions. Inconsistent. Okay. Not bad. Not fantastic. Depends on who serves and when you go. read more

This was the most disappointing restaurant I've been to in Phoenix. You'd think that a wait on a Tuesday evening means it's good. Such is not the case. I ordered a side salad (lettuce and a couple croutons) and it arrived quickly. We were warned that the stuffed Chicago pizza would take 25 minutes. An entire hour later we got the thinnest crust I've ever seen and every pasta dish was bland. The server didn't check back, made no attempt to appease the ridiculous hour long wait for food and jusy walked away when he asked if everything was delicious and several of us said nit really. Twenty minutes later he came back and offered to bring me something else after an hour wait and everyone else was done eating. Food is bland, wait is long, service sucked. Not going back to waste time or money read more

The food is great and so was our waiter. However your business is not code compliant. You have 2 handicapped spots and one of which always has someone picking up an order. The parking lot is not accessible for wheel chairs and you need to smooth it out so we do not fall. read more

I got food for take out and when I got home there two hairs on garlic bread which is not worst thing ever but I expect when I call that it would be a concern , when I call I spoke to the manager that was there and her tone that she talk to me was in dis belief she asked for my address to get gift but I don't expect it to ever get here since the convo was less than a minute long she just said ok sorry I'll send it out. Why should I have to wait when you have all the card even if your not going to do a full refund at least do a discount for the inconvenience. read more

The food is amazing and the service is almost always on-point as well. The place isn't nearly big enough to handle their popularity despite a big patio (the building was formerly a fast-food place), so expect long waits during peak times. Most recently tried the waitlist option here on Yelp but still ended up waiting nearly 15 minutes despite arriving right when we were supposed to. Regardless, the food is worth the wait and is consistently excellent. read more
