I had been going here for almost 5 years loved the old owners and loved Linda and Peter when they took over however they sold it and now the new owners are charging a lot more for the same services. The first time I was there they said Peter and Linda went on vacation and I was told my 1 month nails needed to be done from scratch because they were old which I knew it wasn't true but I let them proceed my surprise was when I paid and the price had drastically spiked up $15 dollars from the same service within a month. After I noticed things i made a coment and they told me they were the new owners which I found was not professional for them to lie at the beginning. After being a loyal customer along with my daughters we now had to find a new nail salon that is reasonable and I feel like they are not trying to take advantage of me. read more

I did not think I would enjoy the mani & pedi but surprisingly, Brian & Le, did an amazing job on me & my boyfriend. This place is in a typical strip mall but the work is that of a classy nail salon you could find Downtown. From the sugar rub on our hands to the lengthy foot massages (included in reg price), every thing was great! Because of the speedy service and wonderful customer service, I would certainly recommend this place and hope to return the next time we're in the area. This might be one of the worse nail jobs I have ever had. It seems like the nail tech was very inexperienced and would not listen to my request. I get acrylic tips on my big toes and normally when a nail tech does my nails they file down the old acrylic and then add more acrylic especially if there was a crack in the old acrylic. she did none of that and just painted over the old cracked acrylic. I requested a fill in of that crack and she said it didn't require it. So long story short it was a crappy job. read more

This was my 1st time getting my nails done there and I was very happy. I recommend seeing Ryan. He's so friendly and I even brought a pic of what I wanted done and he did his best to re create. Thier service was fast and the shop is quiet and clean. Not overpriced and I'm glad they weren't too far away from home. I did gel overlay with gel polish. Almond style. This was the absolute WORST manicure I have ever received in my life!!!! And I wish I was exaggerating. I was visiting from out of town and did not know this place. My sister and I decided to go there out of convenience. I planned to get a pedi and a gel mani but decided to get gel tips, then was talked into getting ombre nails by the young male technician who did my nails. I made it clear that we were strapped for time and asked if the ombre would take longer. He said it took the same amount of time. Not true! It ended up taking an additional 30 to 40 mins, which was mostly due to the fact that he didn't know what the hell he was doing. And it made us late. I wouldn't have mind as much if he had done a good job. OMG my nails were HORRIBLE!!!!!! It was supposed to be white on the bottom and blend into a pink on top for the ombre look. He filed down the white so much that it was all choppy and transparent. He said he was doing them in the coffin shape but they were crooked and slanted. The process used to create the ombre was the powder gel. He applied it too thick, bumpy and uneven. All around the edges of my nails were jagged and nasty looking. There were big lumps of gel stuck under almost every nail, the corners of my nails were stuck to my fingers. I asked him to fix and he kept using the electric file and instead of switching to a smaller size file that would definitely have clean away the big clumps he didn't, therefore nothing was fixed. He then proceeded to tell me that the glue and clumpy powder stuck on the sides would wash away when I wet my hands. What?!!! Nope, not so. It was awful! The messiest, amateurish job I have ever seen. My 6 year old niece could have done better. It was so bad in fact that when he was done I told him to just paint over it with the regular gel polish. I don't know about the other workers in this place, and the woman who did my sister's nail seem to have done a decent job. I don't remember the nail technician's name, but this guy should be avoided like the plague. He had no idea what he was doing using the powder gel. ALL my nails are bumpier than potholes on a country road. They certainly weren't filed down to be even. The corners were lumpy and the gel nail polish was applied unevenly. Every single thing about this manicure was wrong! And the pedicure was sloppy too. AWFUL!!! I left the salon, went to a beauty supply store and bought a hard nail file and reshaped them myself. I plan to go to another nail salon at home and have them clean up the disaster he left behind. It was a huge waste of time and money! read more

The very first time I came here I got one of the worst NexGen manicures (Dip Powder) I've ever gotten. The whole appointment felt rushed and I could tell she skipped a couple of steps but didn't say anything because I thought "maybe this is her own style" but then, less than a week later the polish started to lift and I could practically peel the nails off with ease. I went back for them to fix it given the fact that I had just dropped $60 for this mani + a pedi. They came out better, sloppy but better. Then about 3 weeks later I went back for a refill even though I knew I probably would be better off finding something better. I really wanted this spot to be the one for me given how little distance was between the salon and my apartment, I wanted to give them a second chance. Now while I'm about a little less than a week in from my latest mani and they're still going strong, the dip is just sooo sloppy. It looks like I could've done them myself and for the $35 you spend for NexGen Dip nails, you expect perfection. Let me warn you all right now, don't expect that from this place. *UPDATE 1/20/18* Sad, but I'll never return to this location. I decided to get a gel manicure off the whim after getting my eyebrows waxed and now I later regret it. I've got many gel manicures in the past, both while living in FL and NY, and never have I experienced an issue with the nail polish until this week. I got a gel manicure on Saturday, everything was beautiful, and my nail tech advised the polish would last anywhere from 2-3 weeks. Great deal for $25. On the following Friday, two nails have already chipped and the all of the edges around my cuticles are all pulling back. Now, I've visited this location for the last year and a half since I've moved here and paid for many of their services with excellent tips so I contacted the nail salon and advised them of my issue. The kind gentleman listened to my issue and said don't worry, what time do you want to come in, we'll fix them. I show up at my scheduled time and show the nail tech all of my nails. I show her the chipped nails and how all of my other nails are peeling. I asked if she just lay a top coat of the others to prevent them from prepping any longer. She said she could only fix the chipped ones and the peeling of the others are from my nail growing and she refused to lay a second top coat. She rolled her eyes and told me to sit down and wait while she started a pedicure. I was so upset with how she spoke with me, I left. Two chipped nails and $25 down the drain wasn't worth the attitude I received. I didn't deserve that. I appreciate your business and I had great experiences prior to this one. What I'm disappointed with is the fact he's constantly talking to his co workers and stopping to focus on his conversation while he's preforming my service. Stay away from the nail tech by the name of "LEE"! She's rude, disrespectful, does not like when you ask her to do anything more than what she wants to do to your nails. I asked her to clean around my toe nails with polish remover because her work was so sloppy and a good amount of the polish transferred/bleed over to my skin. She got pissed and said it was just fine and started talking in her native language. I usually have Brian do I and my daughters' nails; but because he was on vacation; I decided to have her do our nails for the first time ever. I surely regret that decision now. The story only gets worst and because I told her; I'm annoyed and why is it that she's getting upset that I want her to make the corrections and as a customer I should get what I want; she therefore stated that she will no longer do mine mani nor my daughters. That was so upsetting to me; and my 13 year old daughter that was looking forward to getting her nails done. Kindly enough; Mary jumped in to finish everything up for me; but because Mary was tied up with her personal appointments; my daughter ended up not getting her nails done at all. I have been going to that place for over a decade now and they will no longer see me ever again. If I operated that place; LEE would have been fired on the spot. I have been to this place many time and I love their costumer service and they do a really good job with nails. So this is more of a tip. This is the first time this has ever happened to me but it kind of irked me and I feel like it something to know and be aware of. I made an appointment to do my nails and asked how much it would be for acrylics with white tip and a pedicure. I got qoated 45$. So I said great because I had 54$ in my account and that would leave room for tip. Well I get there and someone starts doing my nails I stated I wanted the acrylic with the white tip. So when everything is done and I go to pay they tell me it's 50$. I asked "why"and they told me that they put a gel top coat that cost 5$ more dollars. Usually, I wouldn't care but I called to make sure about the price and I don't know I felt kinda annoyed that they would just assume I would pay the 5 dollars instead of asking me. So my tip is to make sure that they are doing to you only what your willing to pay and be specific about the pricing. Unless you don't care than don't worry about it. read more
