Whereas we have used All State Couriers previously, and received wonderful service, this last…read moresituation has prompted me to write a review. We sent an email requesting service from All State with explicit instructions as to what to pick up, where to pick it up and where to deliver the items. After 2 "no-shows" by the person they were picking up from, the items were finally retrieved (FYI, all no-shows are paid by us because we know that everyone's time is valuable and it's not their fault that some people don't adhere to their commitments. Plus, the job was prepaid, as is the policy of All State.) The person gave All State the box with old UPS shipping labels on it. After the package was rejected by FedEx bc of the old shipping labels, and instead of contacting us to see if there was a change in the instructions we emailed to them, the driver took the items to UPS, who used the old label and sent the package back to the person they had just picked it up from. Once we saw the receipt, we tried to stop the shipment but were too late. Upon contacting All State to find out what had happened, Sam told us that it was our fault because we didn't tell them that the old labels were on the box ( a detail we had no knowledge of whatsoever) and was hostile and rude to myself and my colleague, who had called All State immediately once she found out that the shipment had been sent incorrectly. I don't know what's happened to this company, but we will not be using them again. We now have added expenses to recover the equipment, again, and ship it correctly back to our client.

Marche is very professional and was extremely patient with my mother and I who both were emotional going through this funeral planning experience for the first time. It definitely feels weird actually writing a Yelp review for a Funeral Home but if my recommendations are used for valuable opinion of my taste in food, amenities, and more happy services... please take my advice for a funeral home. In the event that you ever need one I wouldn't look any further than Morris Funerals and Cremation Services. Everything was reasonably priced and lower than other funeral homes in Maryland that quite frankly to me seemed to be "milking" patrons due the surge in deaths from this killer Coronavirus. They went above and beyond considering the circumstances all while following state mandates and social distancing. Hopefully I personally won't have to visit them anytime soon but I know where to direct someone when they do.

I will say the two men who arrived were friendly - one a little too friendly, which I'll get to later. First, they took forever! I didn't need ANYTHING boxed up and I lived in a one bedroom, one bath apartment. I only needed the heavy furniture and some pre-boxed organizers moved. When I got the quote, it was for 3 hours. I thought that would be sufficient. It wasn't. When we arrived at the new place, I only asked for the heavy furniture to be placed in rooms. All the other organizers were put in the bottom floor for me to sort through later. Well, SIX HOURS LATER they finally finished. (For 45 minutes, one guy was taking a dump in the bathroom downstairs...) Second, they were not careful with my items or the apartment/house. They put a gash in the wall at the apartment complex I moved out of that cost me $575!!!! WTF! Additionally, they scraped both furniture and walls and floors when they moved the heavy furniture. Third, one of the guys, Nick, made me very uncomfortable with his comments. I'm a single woman who lives with her labradooodle puppy. When we got to the house and they were putting furniture in the bedroom, he looked into the bathroom and commented how nice it was that there were two sinks - one for me and one for him. When they were leaving, he stated he would be back to visit soon. WTF am I supposed to say to that?! He knows where I live and that I live alone. He made numerous other extremely unprofessional comments during the move. Lastly, they accidentally took my dolly when they left. I called an hour later when I realized it was missing and needed it to continue my move. Nick said he would bring it back in an hour and a half. He never did and then stopped responding. I contacted the owner (maybe?), Shannon, I believe. She brought it the next day, which was kind of her. I would NOT RECOMMEND using the company. Find someone else who treats your property like they would want their own treated. These guys are NOT it.
