( I believe if you're not a talker Jessyca would respect that too. ) Her products are natural and I have NEVER had **any** kind of reaction to the waxes or coloring (to my brows.) While there is some initial pain in any waxing process, Jessyca does all to make sure any discomfort is minimal ( and I can say for each process it has been minimal. I do not have fine hair or thick skin.... ) It has been my experience that before each *application* Jessyca ensures the wax is not too hot and you are ready. She also does not leave an area until you are ready. The pain is A LOT LESS than traditional waxing AND has always subsided before I left the studio (I have felt pain a lot longer using traditional waxes and had reactions too. I have also NOT noticed any other client in any kind of distress or discomfort.) I also feel Jessyca's pricing is very competitive. She also has never had a "pushy" upsell manner. We followed the directions as provided and had no problem finding the place, which is a ways out of town towards Boston Harbor. The setting was beautiful - a creek runs through the property creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere. Once I stepped inside, I was transported to my Vecmama's house (my Latvian grandmother who is now deceased).......the smells were wonderful and I was in my happy place. The ambiance was so awesome. Sara-Ann was so sweet and genuine. She took my daughter back to the treatment room for about 20 minutes. When she came out for her hair cut, she looked like jelly, she was so relaxed. She said she had a nice scalp massage and had a wonderful hair washing. She did a great job talking to my daughter and asking about her and giving her the perfect hair trim. My teenaged son was with me and he enjoyed the foot massage machine in the waiting room. We ended up having her cut my sons hair as well. The prices for a buzz cut were a lot higher than other places (20) but I enjoyed the atmosphere and talking to Sara so much, I thought it was worth it. I also like shopping local. Every thing about this business is awesome. It is a drive out to her business and it is expensive (most salons are) but you get what you pay for. Although I can't afford her treatments on a regular basis, I will definitely come back for a treat for my kiddo every once in awhile and maybe me too! The hot cloth, the heated bed, the extractions, the facial massage, scalp massage, lathering of the neck. I felt like I was being sculpted and melted in her hands. When she put a hot cloth under my shoulders I started to cry. It has been so long to feel that good.
