Christine brought my poor abused hair back to life! I have super long, thick dark hair with many gray hairs that are eager to take over. I am also really bad when it comes to managing it well. Let's just say she had her work cut out for her. She did a beautiful blend with highlights and a layered cut that I am extremely happy with! I have had long hair my whole life and decided it was time to try short hair. When made, this kind of decision needs immediate action. After reading reviews on Yelp, I read that Laurie, the owner of Hair Concept, had aided a couple of customers 'go short'. I called and we scheduled an appointment . . . which required her to fit me in. She listened intently to what I wanted to do and assessed my hair. I wanted my hair cut that day and she made adjustments to accommodate my schedule. My hair was well past my shoulders and I decided to commit to going short . . . really short. I figured I could grow it back out if I didn't like it. She took off a lot and it feels like a weight has been lifted. Going short has been great! She did a beautiful job and I really love what she did. I believe over time it will only look better as I get use to working with short hair. I'm definitely keeping it short. This place is amazing. The owner Laurie is always there and very friendly. She is experienced and every time she's done my hair I've loved it. This last time one f the stylists TJay helped me change my look. I've had long hair for awhile and i wanted it short, very short. She followed the style I brought in and always asked for my input. It was a 3 hour process with highlights included and it was under $100. I've always been able to get in same day or around whatever time i need. The inside is always clear and smells great. Its not very big, but it has a comfortable layout. Definitely the only place I'll go to have my hair done. I believe they do nails too, but i haven't tried that yet. read more

Decided to try this place out. I'm amazed at the hair stylist talent in Grays Harbor County, I wonder why they are here and not in some larger city. Did a very good job with my haircut (finding something to look good on me) and coloring. I wasn't sure about cutting my hair short, but Jeri convinced me to try it, and it worked!
