I previously had extensions and came to her with two tape ins placed in the front of my hair to compensate for the hair that was fried off through bleaching. When she removed the tape ins I was so embarrassed at how thin my hair looked and uneven. I decided to have her put in extensions because I was embarrassed with how my hair looked without them. She did an excellent job with my hand tied extensions. I loved them but had to take them out later on because I couldn't afford the upkeep. *** keep this in mind if you want extensions, they are expensive and high maintenance. A year later and I no longer live in Long Beach but still make the commute to have my hair done. I wish I could post an accurate before and after because WOW!! I truly never believed that I could have blonde hair that was also healthy. This is the best my hair has ever looked since I've gone blonde. It is so soft and silky and believe it or not my hair looks significantly thicker. Her prices are also affordable and consistent. I've been to salons in the past who over charged me and I'd pay a different amount each time for the same service. I also want to add that Toni is extremely professional and does not push products. I have purchased products from her because my hair always is so soft and nice when I get it done that it is a worthwhile investment to use some of these products at home. Toni also is very transparent. She will give you honest advice. I love being blonde and get addicted to going lighter. This is probably where I went wrong before. She let me know if I were to go any lighter it would compromise the health of my hair. I am trying to grow out my natural hair and I trust her advice 100%. I went to her shortly after moving to the Easy bay. The firs time she did a big change from what I had presently - 4 inches, and a long bob. I've been going to her since for trims as well as layers, and coloring. Her color placement is great, and grows out really naturally. I have light brown hair with natural highlights, and Kim enhances those with cool blond highlights, and cool chestnut lowlights to give dimension and shine.
