Apex is new and still adding services. zzzsáwawzI made an appointment for a gel fill and gel Pedi, fortunately, a spot was open and I was shown to the nail salon. Two walls of polish were my first stop. The colors were deep, sophisticated, and current. Once I chose the polishes, I was seated and offered a beverage. My nail technician was interested in what I wanted, asked some questions, AND made a suggestion about the base color for my French Tip. He was absolutely correct. My fingernails are perfect, shaped the way I wanted them. My pedicure, again I was asked what I wanted. My toes are perfect too. I simply love the color "Audry". The background music was soothing, and the overall energy of the salon allowed the walking "nerve" that I felt like I was when I entered the salon, to relax. I was taking deep breaths. What didn't happen? No televisions in every corner blasting a "news" program or sports. The polish choices were not mostly glitter or geared for a much youmger patron. The technicians acknowledged me, made eye contact, and they were interested in how my nails looked at the end of my appointment. Conversations were not between technicians or on their phones. My last nail appointment, the technician was on her phone the entire time. Apex offers private rooms for wedding, birthday, couples or girlfriends pedicure parties. Salon servces will be epanding to include hair and eyelashes. Having my nails done is a form of self care, a treat to have about an hour to myself. I relaxed and throughly enjoyed my time at Apex today

At first, she drilled them, then used cuticle cutters to get underneath and this other flat tool wedge through the entire nail which hurt so I tugged away once, then she continued and I tugged away again, then she went and got the little thing to put your fingers in for a soak off and also did not say a word to me this entire time besides the end when I had to pay and it was quite obvious she was irritate, soo.. I ended up paying, of course, went home and used my own stuff to moisturize them. Overall, decent vibe inside but not interested in returning. $20 for a removal with crappy customer service and dry nails? No thanks.
