So i decided to join her one day as her plus one. First off, know that you have to drive all the way to the back of the plaza to find it. But there's plenty of parking. The studio is run by two nice trainers: Sally and Jordan. They are very open and all about helping you. They tell you their story and listen to yours. It's all about setting goals and appreciating the little accomplishments. First thing when you walk in is that it's one big room. Not little alcoves here and there. Just a huge mat for you to get sweaty on. I did notice there's not one mirror- which is quite interesting. There is complementary child care and very nice locker rooms. They are like to do one on one meetings to check in with you every other week. Their hours are a bit wonky so check the class schedule each week before coming in. But what I like most about this place is that if you can't do a conventional push up, they find another way to get your body to work the same muscles. My advice? Come try it out!

I'm a mid 40's male and now almost exclusively train with Kettlebells while occasionally adding in some sandbags and running. Since early 2020 I left the confines of the gym and went to the local high school track in the mornings and have never looked back. I have just about an hour each morning and Mike's programming fits perfectly into that slot with most days running about 46:00 max from start to finish. Using another app for a timer I plug in the routines with some built in rest and it's magic, I'm feeling stronger and more well rounded in my fitness than any of my years in a CrossFit box

I went to Orangetheory Fitness for an intro class and it completely ruined my experience…read more Before the class, they texted and called saying they needed to do my introduction beforehand and that it would take at least 20 minutes. I arrived 15 minutes early, which is standard for most workout classes, but they refused to let me join the class. I explained that I've attended many workout classes before and was comfortable jumping in, but they insisted there wasn't enough time to complete the intro and paperwork. Ironically, I could have filled out the forms if they hadn't spent that time arguing with me instead. I also would have been happy to pay for the intro class if they hadn't required me to show up 30 minutes early. We're all busy--who realistically has time for that? They acted like this was some extremely advanced or exclusive workout, but honestly, anyone who is even moderately fit could handle the class. The rigid policies and poor customer service were unnecessary and unwelcoming. I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend this location.

The person I spoke to today could benefit from EQ and guest recovery training…read more Situation: My job is 100% travel based so I go to a lot of different studios. I accidentally book a class and when I noticed I went to cancel it. The class was at 6:30am the very next day outside of the 12hr window, and I had cancelled it way in advanced the same day I booked. Well they cancelled all the classes I had booked. Which for me means they also cancelled the alarms I have to wake up associated for it, so rescheduling wasn't able to happen again for a while on my end, because of how my days have been structured plus I had a vacation. so I called today excited and ready to get back on my regimen, and then when she answered the phone, I believe her name was Mary. I gave her the needed card information and was ready to rebook. Then all the sudden she starts going we need to charge you for the class you didn't show up for. Then I went on to explain it wasn't a no show it was an accidental booking on my end that I cancelled prior to the class starting. Instead of going oh okay to move forward we just have to pay the $12 for booking and canceling within the 12hr window and then we will be good to go. She goes into her little system and proceeds to ARGUE with me about my perception of what happened, and was like we have been trying to call you. and you haven't talked to us. I told her I am talking to them now, and that due to the way my schedule is there wasn't time for me to get back to them then. (context I typically work 6 days a week from 9am - 11pm). ( i did not share this with her because she was so rude and accusatory) Instead of being empathetic, and forward focused, she for whatever reason decided to continue arguing and say phrases such as "my day is very busy too" and well "you didn't answer us" "I'm looking at my time punches and it says you booked at 6pm and didn't cancel until 12am" ( to my memo isn't what happened, but at this point it's still a 6 and half hour notice, for a class that wasn't anywhere near fully booked) All that to say I was so turned off, and annoyed by the way she represented this location I would just cancel my membership all together if this was my home studio. Feel so bad for the members who attend there and for whatever reason have life happen. Because that lady lacks any people and conflict resolution skills. Genuinely hope someone helps her figure out it's not about being right, it's about the situation and how you move forward.

From my recent experience, I wouldn't recommend this CrossFit gym for beginners…read more I appreciated the onboarding process, including the paid 2x 1:1 training sessions with a coach and the opportunity to try two CrossFit classes. That said, the membership structure feels inflexible for someone new to CrossFit. The available options--14 classes for $165 or unlimited for $195--assume a level of frequency that may not be realistic for beginners, and the value doesn't change. There are also no drop-in or lower-frequency options for those who want to build consistency at a slower pace, especially post physical therapy or injuries, such as one class per week. The rationale provided for this frequency structure included helping members more rapidly become familiar with navigating equipment, ensuring exposure to a wide range of exercises (which, according to a coach, may not repeat more than twice a year), and minimizing in-class setup or modification questions. However, this approach seems at odds with the messaging I received during onboarding that modifications are welcomed and supported. Overall, the experience felt somewhat misaligned with how the program was initially presented. The onboarding emphasized a "no pressure" environment, but the membership frequency options feel "pressured" and class expectations may not support a gradual or sustainable entry point for all individuals. For those considering this gym, it may be a good fit if you're ready to commit to a higher training frequency. However, beginners or those needing more flexibility or modifications may want to clarify whether the structure aligns with their needs before joining. In my recent experience, I found it doesn't make sense to join for 4-5 classes a month and pay $165, and still experience the owners pricing that belabors navigating the gym, potentially overwhelming the coaches with appropriate modifications for each class even if joining early or prepping beforehand (something the coach I worked emphasized is unnecessary), or after spending $200 for two required private training sessions leading up to joining a class.
