She took the time to look at everyone's profile when they check in and learn our names. It's rare to get someone who genuinely cares and adds a personal touch like that. She always welcomes you with an upbeat good morning and smile, which is hard to do at 5 am!! There are good group fitness classes offered. Mostly mid-morning and evening. Not many 5:30am classes compared to the other Edges in the area. Instructors Danielle P, Dani B, and Susie are awesome. They all clearly love coaching and bring such a fun energy to each class. I absolutely love taking their classes. Comfortable spot to workout. No pressure compared to other gyms. There are some people who are running themselves but they're usually very respectful of others privacy. Everyone is usually really friendly and there's a sense of community here. The equipment is still relatively new and in good shape. The upstairs is for women only. Cool option if you want that but it only comes with the highest membership package.

Couldn't have asked for a better team of people. Lindsey and Arnav and Mia and Jacob they all have made my experience in the gym 100x better. I went to an edge fitness in North Philly and I must say this is the only Edge I would keep coming to. The energy here is too live. Makes me happy to be here and work out. Yall hired a great team!! I've never been this motivated to work out before.

Love Life Time. It's my safe haven for an enjoyable, rewarding time with my community that I now…read morecall my friends! The staff who take care of the building are diligent and helpful. My only feedback is that they need to have better yoga and cycling teachers. This means that the teachers should be engaging and supporting; at the very least, smiling at each member and making them feel like they belong in the class. We need the instructors to improve and be more engaging. Like previous Life Time Wayne yoga teachers: Caitlin and Amy. Also, the music can be too loud in the workout floors and in the locker rooms at night. Everyone has earbuds in anyways, so why blast the music?? Looking forward to the improvements.

I have been a member of the Lifetime in Wayne, Pennsylvania for roughly a year and a half and just…read moredecided to cancel my membership. To start with, here are the good things: 1. Nice Equipment 2. Generally nice floor staff 3. Pretty clean 4. Good class selection. The not so good: 1. It is SO expensive and they keep increasing the price, even on existing members. There are also certain things that I assumed were included in the exorbitant membership only to find that they had exorbitant fees of their own. For example: I was wrong to think I could bring a guest to the pool, that would be an additional $50. Unless you use it daily and make use of the amenities (which I did for most of my time) it is very hard to justify. 2. I was initially really excited to belong to Lifetime but had some interactions with staff that left a really bad taste in my mouth. For example: I invited a friend to join me in my workout and was confronted and told training people was not allowed when I demonstrated how to do an exercise. The confrontation was hostile enough that my friend said outright that he would not consider joining the gym to work out with me. 3. It has become very overcrowded to the point that during peak hours it is hard to get floor space, which is a reality for a lot of gyms but still worth noting. For people that really want to workout, you can expect to change your workout to account for a lack of equipment availability. On occasion the only version of a machine has been out of operation for months at a time. 4. There are a lot of ways that the gym feels corporate and focused on a mission of making the most money possible at the expense of member's experience. The 30 day cancellation policy is a final example of opportunistically gouging you because they can rather than just letting you go before the next billing period. In hindsight I regret giving roughly $3800 to Globo Gym when I have had better experiences elsewhere for so much less. I really would not have bothered to write this if they would just let me go but the last ~$180 (prorated) monthly fee is worth it for them. You will meet some nice people at this gym but that is in spite of not because of LifeTime.

The day after the CDC said masks aren't required they removed the requirement to wear a mask inside, and very shortly after they removed the disinfectant spray too. The gym now provides what's the equivalent of single-ply toilet paper wipes to wipe the equipment, and since the CDC said last week that people should wear masks indoors regardless, they have not followed suit. Just makes you feel uncomfortable going there. As dozens of people go in there every hour and don't clean up after themselves, nor wear masks. And honestly, the spray was nice - it's actually removing a product your customer wants. Come on now!

Tons of classes, a fantastic pool with classes and an endless pool machine, indoor track, lots of machines and some of them are new, and plenty of places to stretch out! The staff is SUPER helpful and VERY friendly. You walk in and you are greeted immediately. They have a great counter with a charging station that you can just chill at, have a cup of their free coffee or fruity waters and talk with friends! While I don't currently use any of the trainers, I am friends with many of them that follow my journey on Facebook. They answer any questions that you have and are extremely motivating. My journey started in the summer of 2014 after I found out I was a type 2 diabetic. I was severely overweight and really needed a change. In conjunction with Bounce Back Physical Therapy (on site), they recommended me to the dietitian that was available at CLM. Working with her and doing my therapy plus being at the gym 7 days a week, I am down an amazing 76 pounds and am off all of my diabetes meds. To this day I am classified as a Diet Controlled Diabetic. I couldn't have done all of this without the fantastic support of the staff at CLM, BBPT and all of my friends that I have met there. They keep you going and I don't EVER want to leave!

The facilities are excellent, with a wide range and overabundance of top-quality machines, from treadmills and ellipticals to stationary machines and free weights as well. The list of problems here is endless, but let's start with the cleanliness, or complete lack thereof. This is, without question, the dirtiest gym I've ever been a member of. As far as I can tell, the only thing the staff consistently cleans is the bathrooms. The equipment? That's apparently a community service project left entirely up to the members. Normally that wouldn't be a huge issue... except 3-4 times a week they run out of their dinky little disinfecting wipes. So when the wipes are gone, nothing gets cleaned between uses. Hope you enjoy sharing sweat with strangers. The cardio equipment has a visible collection of dust, sweat, hair, and who knows what else. You'd think after constantly running out of wipes they'd find a new supplier, or literally any backup plan. But after being a member here for a year, I can confidently say they don't care. They keep collecting membership fees while the gym slowly collects grime. Now let's talk about the equipment itself. Machines are constantly broken and covered with "Scheduled for Service" signs that somehow stay on for 4-6 weeks. When a machine finally does get repaired, it's usually broken again within a few days. Need an attachment for the cable machines? Good luck. There seems to be exactly one of each attachment; one rope, one straight bar, one everything, so you'll spend more time hunting for equipment than actually working out. I honestly cannot recommend avoiding this place enough. Save yourself the money, the frustration, and probably a tetanus shot.

So i decided to join her one day as her plus one. First off, know that you have to drive all the way to the back of the plaza to find it. But there's plenty of parking. The studio is run by two nice trainers: Sally and Jordan. They are very open and all about helping you. They tell you their story and listen to yours. It's all about setting goals and appreciating the little accomplishments. First thing when you walk in is that it's one big room. Not little alcoves here and there. Just a huge mat for you to get sweaty on. I did notice there's not one mirror- which is quite interesting. There is complementary child care and very nice locker rooms. They are like to do one on one meetings to check in with you every other week. Their hours are a bit wonky so check the class schedule each week before coming in. But what I like most about this place is that if you can't do a conventional push up, they find another way to get your body to work the same muscles. My advice? Come try it out!
