Not only are they easy to deal with, but they are extremely attentive and responsive to our phone calls, and emails. They are also extremely knowledgeable. Before they came I dreaded having to deal with the person in charge. Their arrival was truly a game changer. I find both Yamile and Andra to be truly vested in taking care of our complex's needs and what makes it so great is that they are so very nice!

This "property management" company is comprised of a group of unprofessional, pretentious amateurs: Ross, the owner; Grace, his right hand henchwoman; Mike, Jamie, & Susie, Grace's phone operators. I lived in a Redondo Beach SFH for 4 years and paid rent early every month. I took it upon myself to care for the house as if it were my own. When the property was turned over to me as a new tenant, the bath still had an old, used, dirty bath mat in it with mold and mildew under it. The bathroom had hair and toothpaste throughout. The back yard had dog feces throughout. The garage had a dog run with urine stains and odors in the concrete. The yard had sparse grass. The refrigerator had pools of water and mold under it. A little surprising for a $980K house / $4k/month rental. During my tenancy, I re-seeded the backyard and cleaned up all of the messes left for me to move into. Maintenance requests were typically ignored, but on the rare occasion they were not, they were performed in the cheapest possible fashion. At the onset of COVID-19, the owner of Riviera (Ross), sent a hasty email to all tenants encouraging them to setup direct pay to their bank accounts, so no payments were missed. Rather than empathy or a helpful explanation of tenants' rights, the bottom line was immediately money and continued lack of care. $1,400 worth of damages were charged against my security deposit for deficiencies pre-dating my tenancy. We were denied a walk through by Jamie and Grace, which is illegal in California. Pending the non-return of our security deposit, we will be in court with Riviera and the property owners. As both a real estate owner and a tenant, I would never trust my niece's toy house with Riviera Property Management.

The apartment itself is the perfect size for a single tenant, with a smart layout that makes the most of the space. I loved the faux wood paneling in the bedroom and the cute splashback tiles in the kitchen. The two pools are large and deep--I'll especially miss swimming there! The location is unbeatable: walking distance to the gym, multiple grocery stores, the beach, and just one block from the Greenbelt Trail. On top of that, the neighbors were always kind and friendly, which made the community feel safe and welcoming. But the best part about living here was Luis, my landlord. He truly has a heart of gold--helpful, accommodating, and genuinely caring. During a difficult time after a traumatic event, he went out of his way to make sure my front door was extra secure and honored my request not to knock loudly when service people came. He always responded to repair requests quickly and worked around my schedule while I was working night shifts as a nurse, which I appreciated so much. Even my mother, during her brief stay, commented on how cordial and helpful he was. During the holidays, when I couldn't travel to see family, Luis's warmth and kindness made me feel less alone. He's honest, genuine, and reliable--all qualities that are rare (and so important!) in a landlord. I've heard plenty of horror stories from friends about bad management, but my experience here was the complete opposite, which is a huge reason I stayed for so long. I only moved because of personal reasons that took me back to Northern California. Otherwise, I would have happily stayed much longer. He showed me the complex, that has everything, laundry, pool, jacuzzi, dishwasher, parking and a nice view to the beach. He said just apply and immediately he approved me. At one point I was so happy for find this gem that I thought that was something bad with the complex, I was thinking is too good for be true. so I started to check reviews and I got worried, my main concern was a infestation that people said that they had here and manager being awful, but I decided trust on my gut and started with moving process. I came from a big complex on the valley that had a roach infestation that those guys never fixed, and I got tired of living with roaches and more issues. When I arrived with movers, everything was clean, no infestation, manager is the most efficient guy and friendly, neighbors knocked my door with a welcome cake, even one neighbor told me if I make too much noise please let me know, was so nice her words I called the manager because heater was no working and he sent next day to change for a new one, and those guys were amazing, I'm super picky because my past experience on my last building I had to tell them what to do, where to clean but them were amazing nothing to complain. When I need something Luis is there, he really takes care of the complex pretty good, and neighbors are really nice is another world from the valley, everything is clean. They have a lady that do a cleaning everyday, and the best part laundry is 24h. If you are thinking to move here please do it, we have school, lazy acres in front of the building, restaurants, pharmacy, beach that is literally 2 min away. I feel motivated being here and finally don't share my rent with roaches, is no infestation of any kind here. And is false that manager is awful. I don't know why those people put reviews like that because when you are moving to a new place you want pay for live in a good apartment and those kinds of reviews only freak you out but I trusted on him because his energy was nice and I decided to trust on him. 9/28/2025 This is the most unprofessional, rude, abusive…read moreagency by far! I received a text from Zillow that there will be a showing of an apartment I've kept an eye on for 3 weeks. The reason it took so long is because when I called regarding it the first time through the app, it prompted me to this agency and a rude woman called Bobby answered. She then asked me what I was doing at the address (apartment building) and rudely told me to leave immediately, because there were tenants still living there. Of course I turned and left, thinking it was a mix up. So today I was sure the apartment was ready for me to see. There was no one driving through the gate (the only entrance) and after sitting in my car for a while I tried calling through Zillow. It prompted me to an answering machine and I left a message that I could not get inside and what should I do? I eventually followed a car got inside the apartment. There was an open house and so I got a chance to see it inside with no furniture or tenants. There was a traffic of other people, couples who came to see the apartment. Satisfied, I left and started driving towards home. And this is when Bobby called me. She started accusing me of getting inside an apartment illegally. She kept asking me for names of people who let me in. And even though I told her there was an open house She continuously accused me of getting in illegally using abusive language. After I hung up on her several times, she gave my phone number to a man, a stranger who claimed that the apartment was his. He started shouting at me and didn't stop for me to find out what is going on. He used an abusive demeanor saying that if I don't give up the names of people who let me inside his apartment illegally, he was going to call the police. He then started repeating himself stating that he will give me in to the police. As I couldn't speak to him, I hung up on him a few times because he kept calling me dialing my number over and over again. I was shook up, speechless and kept asking him what exactly they were accusing me of? For illegally getting into my property, he said. But there was an open house and there were lots of people, I said. Why did you decide to single me out and accuse me of something I didn't do? He would not listen. So I hung up. After 7 phone calls to me from these people I called them insane. Came home so emotionally tired, angry and helpless that my blood pressure was spiking up. Seriously, don't ever call them.
