My old unit was taking up a small room on the second floor, and I wanted it moved down to the garage to clear that space for a home office. Robert Pinson was recommended by a family friend, and he was incredible from the start. Within a week, he came out, listened to my goals, and built a straightforward quote. His expertise gave me total confidence that he could handle the job no problem. I've attached photos to show the scale of the work; because of the relocation, they had to run new water and gas lines, and they opened up the drywall at my request to make everything seamless. Robert and his crew were on time, efficient, and their workmanship was truly immaculate. They remained professional and courteous throughout the entire process, even wearing shoe covers inside to ensure my house stayed spotless while they tested the water. This project had been hanging over me for months, but they made the process painless from start to finish. If you are going back and forth on a big project, just hire these guys--it is well worth the investment!

I'm sorry to have to write this review. I've used Mike Heyer plumbing for many years. The oldest…read morebill I could find is from 2007. Previously, I was happy with Mike's work. In fact he recently fixed my water heater and did a great job. I didn't use Mike because he is cheap! He charges the typical plumber rates so he has made agood amount of money from the work he's done in my home. But unfortunately, he installed a new cartridge behind my guest bath shower control and when putting the control back, he didn't totally cover the opening (like he found it). Instead, he filled the opening he left with a clear epoxy or silicone (I think). I told him before he left that I was concerned about that and he assured me that if I didn't like it after it dried, he'd come back and redo it. And then, because of our years of doing business together, I stupidly paid him. When it dried, it looked like I had black mold growing in my impeccably (no mold, no dirty grout) shower! I contacted Mike and he said he'd come and redo it as soon as he could, but his truck was down. He would call me. A week later I contacted him again and he told me his truck was still down. Really? No work for 2 weeks? After another week, I tried to contact him again and he didn't respond to my text. When I called him, I got his voicemail. I'm sure you are getting the idea, he ghosted me. I had to pay someone else to take the control off, reset and seal it. It again looks perfect - the way Mike should have left it. Obviously, Mike Heyer's is not a man of his word, and being a loyal customer means nothing to him, as well. Again, I have to recommend you do not use Mike Heyer Plumbing.

When I discovered I had a slab leak, I was overwhelmed and didn't know where to start. From the moment Daniel and Jonny arrived, they were professional, kind, and completely on top of it. They didn't just do the bare minimum -- they were thorough and relentless in tracking down the actual source of the leak, which turned out to be more complex than expected. Through their diligence, they discovered the leak was also affecting my next-door neighbor's unit. Rather than treating that as someone else's problem, they stepped up, communicated directly with my neighbor, clearly explained the situation to both of us, and made sure we each understood exactly what was happening and what the next steps would be. What really stood out was how seamlessly they handled everything -- including working directly with our HOA to coordinate the repair process. That kind of initiative and professionalism is rare. They kept everyone informed, stayed calm under pressure, and never made us feel like we were in the dark. If you're dealing with a plumbing issue, especially something serious, don't hesitate. South County Plumbing Inc. is the real deal, and Daniel and Jonny are exactly the kind of people you want showing up at your door. In over 35 yrs of home-ownership, we've had to call a plumber a few dozen times. WRENCH-IT-PLUMBING…read moreis hands-down, by far THE BEST plumber we have ever dealt with. AUSTON V, (the owner of WRENCH-IT) was recommended to us by the plumber that replaced our water heater, installed an expansion tank and water softener system. That plumber (SWIFT PLUMBING) specializes in those items. We wanted to replace two toilets and a bathroom faucet. SWIFT said AUSTON used to work for them and they highly recommend him. After being stood-up by a Home Depot referral plumber, I called WRENCH-IT. AUSTON quickly gave us an estimate based on photos we texted him of our old toilets and faucet. WRENCH-IT was able to schedule us for only two days out. Perfect timing to go along with other contractor work we were dealing with. AUSTON is great at texting back in a timely manner. He answered our many questions during the day and evening. We're sure he was on the job many times when we texted with more questions. AUSTON arrived when he said he would and his two other workers (DAVID and JUSTIN) arrived shortly afterward. They were prepared with canvas tarps to cover the floor and had all the tools and additional parts needed to install the two toilets and faucet that we provided. They were fast and did a very thorough and clean job. They were done in about two hrs and would have finish much sooner if I didn't keep asking them questions. AUSTON and his crew were EXCELLENT. Everything we asked them, they took care of, and then some. The caulking in the bathroom where they were putting in the new faucet was in need of some work and they took care of that with no problem. The caulking was not even part of the faucet replacement. Another contractor recently splashed some Thin-set on a bathroom wall and they cleaned it off. I asked how to replace the gasket in the new toilet and they showed me how to do it. They hauled away the old toilets and faucet, as well as the giant cardboard boxes that held the toilets. There was a small chip on one of the toilet tank lids and they brought it to my attention right after unpacking it. AUSTON and his crew are extremely competent, friendly, professional, patient and very reasonably priced. We have found our FOREVER PLUMBER. We are more than happy with him and his service and have put WRENCH-IT on speed-dial! They were a pleasure to work with. Give AUSTON a call and you won't be sorry! **Update** I recently called Wrench-It for another plumbing job and learned AUSTON was no longer in the business and it is currently run by another person. I was not comfortable with that and used a different company.

While he was there, we asked what we could do to prevent the issue from happening again. He suggested adding a camera inspection, saying it would be $350. We asked if he could offer any kind of discount, and he agreed to do it for $320, which we accepted. However, at the end of the service, we were shocked to be charged a total of $570. At no point was it clearly explained that these were being treated as two separate services that would be added together. The pricing was misleading, and the lack of transparency felt very unprofessional. On top of that, the entire job was completed in a very short amount of time, which made the final charge feel even more unreasonable for the work performed. Clear communication and honesty about costs are extremely important, especially for services like this. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling overcharged and misled. I would not recommend this plumber based on our experience.

We thought a plumber would have to open up the wall to replace the entire section but after texting pictures, Samy came out and not only knew what the issue was but only needed a tiny part within the larger part we had purchased. Pricing was pretty reasonable if you ask me. After that, I had asked about another issue with our washing machine spewing out water via a pipe in the garage each time we ran a cycle. He said he could fix that as well. Others had said they needed to redo all the piping. Samy said no, it was just sediment build up and ran a snake in the pipes to clear it out. For now, that did the trick and didn't cost an arm and a leg like others wanted who said we needed to repipe. 30 day warranty.
