From the moment I reached out to Pure Imagination, everything was hassle-free. Their response time was quick, booking was easy, and they answered all my questions. Even with it being the holiday season, I was able to book just two days after Thanksgiving. They offered different options and even asked if I had any special requests for the character. I booked Spiderman, and the performer--Daniel--was incredible. Daniel, I truly appreciate the courtesy call the day before and your professionalism. You made my son's day extra special. Unfortunately, the performance did not meet those expectations at all. The elf did not initiate any activities and appeared disengaged the entire time. I had to constantly prompt her to interact with the children. Several kids were upset, and multiple guests commented that she was not doing her job. At one point, she was standing in one spot chewing gum, which felt extremely unprofessional. Three of my guests even offered to write reviews on my behalf because they felt so bad about the situation. Instead of enjoying my party and hosting my adult guests, I ended up managing the entertainer myself and playing with the kids to keep them engaged--completely defeating the purpose of hiring entertainment. I contacted the company immediately after the party. The party coordinator responded promptly and confirmed that the elf claimed the children "weren't interested," which is why she didn't engage. I was told the owner would contact me to resolve the issue, but I never heard from him. I would give this service zero stars if I could.
