Lori has provided balloon bouquets for friends and family for the last 4 years. She is dependable, creative and reasonable. Initially, my friend's sister was in ICU and we were informed that flowers were not allowed. Lori provided weekly balloon bouquets. Each her bouquets arrived and they were beautiful, creative and uplifting. Since then, I have started to purchase balloon bouquets for my kids' birthdays. I have a tradition of my kids waking up to balloons, a card and small gift on their birthday. Initially, they would get the number of balloons, for their number of years. This has gotten tough now that my oldest turned 14. It's so convenient to order a cool bouquet from Lori, to my kids' taste and have it delivered. Totally beats running to the grocery store the night before, going through the slim pickings and filling my back seat with balloons. Lori has proven, time and time again, that she is the real deal. I found Lori and OC Balloons in a party planning group on Facebook. She was able to put together bouquets of balloons for our event in the color schemes and designs I wanted. The whole process was totally easy, we emailed a few times regarding designs, I was able to pay a deposit via Paypal upon ordering, she invoiced me a few days prior to our event, and showed up on the day of the party promptly with our beautiful arrangements. OC Balloons are just ok. J/K! Lori is excellent! I basically gave her some ideas as to what I was looking for and she did the rest. My daughter and her friends enjoyed the "Aladdin" vibe. Lori stepped in very last minute after not one, but two of my balloon vendors cancelled the week of my son's bar mitzvah. We spoke on the phone, she understood what I wanted, and came prepared with most of the balloons already inflated. She even found sparkly silver star printed latex balloons to match the silver mylar stars that I wanted. Lori was very friendly and reasonably priced and saved the day for me by doing my job last minute. Everything looked beautiful and it was just what I wanted. My only tip would be to set a time on the earlier side for her to arrive because although she got the job done before my guests arrived, it was cutting it a bit close for my type A personality!! read more

Lori made my balloon dreams come true! From the moment I contacted her she kept in great communication. I had a limited budget but tons of ideas, she worked with my budget and made some great suggestions on how she could accomplish my goal within my budget. On the day of the event, I really appreciate that she arrived early. Luckily we were able to provide two ladders and a few helpers to assist her because she was alone and our decoration required climbing, hanging and carefully handling long strings of balloons. The only reason I'm not giving her five stars is because I'm not sure how she would of setup the balloons if our two helpers weren't there to assist her. It happen to work out that they could help but I was a little stressed because I needed their help with other aspects of the event setup and decoration. Similarly, I was happy to supply the ladders but I did need to use them to hang other decorations and had to wait until the balloons were done. In the end, everyone who attended our event really enjoyed the balloons and all the decorations. I'm grateful I found Lori and highly recommend her!! read more

Okay, I don't often do reviews on here, but nowadays with everybody looking up ratings, I felt this deserved a moment of my time. I was referred to Orange County Balloons through a friend and I am so happy about it. I contacted her last minute, about 2 days, regarding my boyfriends birthday and she made time to squeeze me in. She asked me what sort of things he liked, favorite colors, and a price range. I left all the creativity to her because I am not the best at this kind of thing. I was overly satisfied with the results, and my guy thinks I am the best boyfriend ever. I'm trying to think of an excuse just to get more balloons now. This was a horrible experience. First off my event started at 2 and I mentioned I needed everything ready to go by 1:30. Lori showed up with half of my items at 1:45!! Then left and returned with the other half at 2:45 even though I asked her not to. Second the balloons looked nothing like the photos I had sent her. I could have done it all by myself for way less cost. She forgot a ladder so she had to borrow ours. She forgot the letter balloons I ordered which were my back drop. She came late with the balloon arch and it popped while she was trying to set it up in the middle of my party and it was not looking good before that. I just hope no else falls for these yelp reviews like I did. Here prices are similar to other balloon vendors so look else where. Very unprofessional!! read more
