I gave creative input, and she gave me recommendations, which ultimately made my vision happen (I'm somewhat indecisive, so this was very helpful). Do NOT use this vendor for your next event. My colleague shared an earlier review, and the owner, Karla, responded with lies. The contract was NOT given to her the day before...it was emailed to her five days prior. She talks about the balloons being subpar, but we would been okay with that...instead, she delivered the balloons AFTER our event had already started, so our staff never got to see them. I have photos from the event that show just the stands and no balloons. We paid her $450 to pick up balloons from our event the day prior and set them up at the new event by 7 a.m. Instead, she let us know late (after the time of the planned set up and only after I reached out to her)...and with an attitude...that she was unable to get a Uhaul truck that early. She NEVER communicated that to me until the morning of the event...after 7 a.m. when I finally reached out asking if she was going to deliver the balloons. I texted her twice, no response. Then she showed up, after my attendees were already in the venue, without even apologizing. I told her not to bother since no one would see them, and her reply was "Well I have them, I'm going to set them up." She never ONCE apologized. And she didn't even bring all the items that were listed in the contract. After the event, I reached out to request a refund, and her response (after multiple emails and a call from me) was that she reviewed the contract and would not be issuing a refund. This was a COMPLETE breach of contract. She did not fulfill one single part of it. My VP of Finance reached out to her, and she has as of this time ignored her as well. Incredibly unprofessional. Do NOT risk your event with this vendor. read more
