I booked a three person parasailing trip for my brother's birthday. The guys really made it memorable. We were able to all go up in the parasailing together and saw many marine life and enjoyed it a lot. The experience was amazing for the price, safety was important and the team lived up to that, the crew was friendly. We'd gone parasailing before, but this experience was so much better than previous experiences. I appreciated being able to pre-purchase the photo package and pre-pay the tip. First used OBP about nine years ago and it was great. Used it last week and it was a very different experience. The captain ("River") was surly and when asked simple questions, couldn't seem to give a straight answer and instead gave a smart ass answer regardless of the question. The deckhand ("Tom") was friendly and that helped a little. However, the photos we got were all pretty horrible and not a single one could be printed or used. They are all washed out and grey. Parasailing is always fun but the experience was dragged down by the captain's attitude and the quality of the photos in the media package. Next time we'll use a different company, unfortunately. read more

So we decided to take our kids to parasail since they've been begging to go. My wife and I had been before and loved it, so we knew the kids would too. We booked with no problems. For the 4 of us (including a 15% tip which I paid before the trip (mistake)) the price was approximately $360. Prior to getting on the boat, the Captain was griping at someone on his cell phone. That kind of set the stage for the trip. The captain and deck hand must have been disgruntled because they were not friendly at all. They barely spoke and when they did it was barking out the orders. Not a pleasant or personal experience which should be expected for the price we paid. When they did talk, which was to each other, it was complaining about the employer which I thought was extremely unprofessional and tacky. As for length of the flight, each group went approximately 7.5 minutes (I timed it with my watch). UPDATE: The owners called me personally and apologized profusely for the trip. They wanted to make sure they could rectify our experience. They acknowledged that there was an issue that day and that the issue has been resolved. That is top notch customer service. Owners showed that they care about your experience and value your opinion. read more

Myself, my two 14 year old boys and two of their buddies went parasailing today. We arrived 30 minutes early and check in was relatively simple as we had reserved and paid online. We waited about 20 minutes and got on the boat. The boat was very nice and clean. The captain was friendly and made us feel welcome. The first mate / helper wasn't overly friendly but she wasn't rude at all. She took 200+ photos of our group so hats off to her there. Another group was on the boat with us and they had a little girl who was scared to go...the captain made her feel welcome and encouraged her to go (she did and had a good time). This was such a fun experience! We went first thing in the morning and had the boat to ourselves which made for a special excursion! Cpt. Cody and Deckhand Shea (sp?) were great! For a rookie like me, I felt comfortable, was informed on what to do, and was able to enjoy my trip better knowing we were in great hands. I forgot to get the name of the lady who takes the reservations and sets everyone up for their trips, but she is an absolute delight! Parasailing is an investment but worth it! If you add on the picture package it's $35 but they take a ton of pics and give you the entire camera cartridge to print/share your pics. Seeing the ocean from a whole new perspective was awesome!! I can't wait to go again next year! MUST DO!! read more

Fun experience and the crew was great. Very pricey for the 10 minute flight you get. Seems like all of these parasail companies are owned by the same company, same person answered when we called two different places. We were not able to use the coupons in either of the coupon books at either place we called because "$69.99 is the special we are running right now, it's usually $80." It didn't mention that anywhere on their websites. read more

My family and I were vacationing in Gulf Shores and wanted something fun to do at the last minute. We were able to get booked very quickly and easily over the phone. Upon arrival, check in was super smooth and within a few minutes we were on the boat headed out. The directions he gave were easy to follow and we had a great time on the water. We did get the photo package so anxious to see those. They also allowed us to take our cell phones up so we could take our own video or pictures. Had a blast and would definitely recommend this crew. Went up for my 40th birthday, thinking Id cross something off the old bucket list. Arrived 15 minutes early like they suggested, but the boat was running an hour behind so I had to wait. The ride itself was very relaxing and beautiful, and the captain and deckhand did seem to know what they were doing. My ride was 13 minutes long - i timed it - perhaps because i was referred by another parasail place (their boat was out of commission). Im pretty sure the site said we were guaranteed 15 minutes. But that was probably because like i said i was a referral. I thought the price was very reasonable at $45, and since it was my bday they gave me a FREE tshirt! Which was very nice of them. Overall a good experience. Id refer someone here. A solid 4 stars. read more

Our trip was at 11:00 am and it was a beautiful morning. We loved Capt. Anthony and Blake. Anthony is a very experienced captain and explained everything that was going to go on. We enjoyed our time a lot but if you're paying money- you should get what is promised. Having parasailing on my bucket list, regardless of my fear of heights, I knew I wanted to go on our trip to Orange Beach.
