The colors are fresh and I love how they patched cracks and caulked things in. I give them 3 stars for a few reasons. The first being the mess. Our house was EXTREMELY dusty with gypsum when we arrived home at the end of the project, even in the insides of closets that hadn't even been painted. It took us days to wash and wipe everything down, and we were sneezing and itching the whole time and had to wear masks. I was told that everything would be cleaned with Simple Green, so it was very disconcerting that it clearly wasn't. Even now, weeks later, you can bump a baseboard and white dust will fall off/out. We have green overspray on our light colored stamped concrete walkway and the exterior siding of the house around it, texture on the tops of ceiling fans and light switches, and paint drips on our interior wooden floors, which had been covered. It seems like while we were home they were very meticulous, but while we were gone they felt free to be sloppy and disregard our property and belongings. Second, they removed a ceiling fan at my request, which I appreciated, but we came home to it broken, with paint all over it, and found it sitting in the pouring rain on the porch. Needless to say, we had to purchase a new ceiling fan and are very bummed that the old one is no longer usable. Third, I was not pleased that my request for a change order was ignored. The estimator, Rodger, was great. Friendly, accommodating and promised me the world. Once I signed the contract, though, I never heard from him again. I had sent him a change order in writing two days after I signed and never heard back. I figured he maybe would tell the crew what I wanted. I felt like I had to hound the project manager about things that weren't done "correctly" because nobody ever acknowledged the change order. I even told him what I wanted more than once, and offered to pay extra to ensure they got done. But in the end I just gave up on getting everything I wanted.

I had just ordered my door and thought it would be available to be stained real soon. The sales team at the door place forgot to mention that ordering doors is a multi-month ordeal. Paintmasters educated me on the process of new doors, installing them, staining them, etc. The people I talked with there were friendly and funny and never gave me the sense that I was a pain. Finally, the door arrived. The next day I was down at Paintmaster's office to get my door stained the exact tint and color I wanted. With the help of a painter, I described the color, he showed me some examples, and he made the exact (I mean that, no compromise or settling) door I wanted to spend my money on. Customer service couldn't be better than it is here, and to top that off, the work is beautiful quality, too.

He was the most responsive from the initial contact and continued through the day of the job. This was a job to repatch my shower ceiling, which property management and their team's initial work left me with a lot of concerns. Joe was very thorough and called me to ask questions about the pictures I uploaded to better understand the situation and had suggested that I save my money since the "repair" was just done, but for the sake of peace of mind, I asked that he redo the work property management didn't do correctly. Joe was ready to go on the day of the job and arrive early, inspected the scope of work once more, and made one last attempt at having me save my money by holding off but I insisted on moving forward. He showed me the area he worked on (my area of concern) before closing it up. Before I knew it, he was done with the job and even took care of the painting for me that I spent several days overthinking how'd I shower if primed and painted it after I got off work instead. Sergio was wonderful at communicating, always replying to inquiries in a timely manner. When we decided on the paint color, Sergio was kind enough to paint a big swatch of the two colors on our home to make sure they were the colors we wanted. The base paint seemed too light so Sergio offered to get another sample that was more saturated, which is what we ultimately decided on. I was extremely grateful he went the extra mile to get the exact color. The crew was great as well. They were always timely and worked diligently and efficiently. Sergio was on sight every day to inspect the work and point out anything that needed to be addressed. We were also pleased with their prep gob. They spent over three days power washing and preparing the house to be painted. If the prep job is sloppy, the paint will not last, so it was great that they were so conscientious about it. We had some dry rot on one of the windows which was in the contract to address. As Sergio was inspecting the house, he noticed more dry rot on a smaller window 30 feet from the ground. He fixed that little portion free of charge. We were impressed that he pointed it out as we would not have noticed it. A less conscientious, honest painting company might just paint over it. The entire process from the beginning of the project to the end was wonderful. Did we mention he is extremely reasonable as well?
