My previous therapist, who moved to Nashville, (and she knows who she is) highly recommended Dee Vickers as a therapist who could alleviate the pain in my neck and shoulder blades that I've experienced since my teen years. (I am 50 years old.) As I've taken pain meds for for a while now, it doesn't quite seem to work as well. So I decided to try the Ashiatsu Massage which is extreme deep tissue massage. As Dee began working on me, she noticed I had muscle knots everywhere and found that I was much tighter than anticipated. With that being said, she began thoroughly explaining and asking if the pressure was too much in order to have a better understanding of what I was experiencing and determining her plan of action. As she determined what was going on, she started applying heat and various other methods to loosen my muscles. I've never experienced this. Normally other places charge for each stone, warm towel and other creams used when getting a massage. This was not the case. She seemed to really be concerned with relieving me of this pain by any means. I can gladly say she did! I've not felt such relief in a long time. I will definitely be going back!!!! read more

I suffered from frozen shoulder after surgery and PT, dry needling, chiropractic care and regular massage, I was ready to throw the towel in. My PT recommended Dee for me to try ashiatsu massage. After just two 1 hour visits, I am back to full range of motion! I cannot rave enough about this technique of restorative massage! Have been having neck and back pain. I scheduled an appt with Peggy after reading some of her reviews. They are all correct. She can use soft and hard pressure to work out the problems you are having. She is very attuned to the body, she can zero in on trouble spots quickly. After this session most of the pain and knots were gone. This was possibly the best massage I have ever had. I realized I need to do this more and Peggy will be the one. I am amazed how much better I feel after seeing Dee for my headaches! I have migraines which medicine is not always successful in controlling. Dee has worked on the muscular root cause of my migraines which has allowed me to have better nights sleep and fewer to no headaches. I have so much range of motion in my neck and shoulders! I have been going to see Dee Vickers for the past 3 months. She is an amazing person as well as restorative massage expert. I have heel spurs and plantar fasciitis in both feet as well as really tight calf muscles. I stand all day to add insult to injury at my job. Dee has worked wonders. Great overall experience, here's why: * When we arrived, Regina and Peggy had anniversary balloons waiting for us based on just me mentioning on the phone it was our anniversary. * Both Regina and Peggy were super personable. * The massage felt like it was customized just for us. * While the whole experience was high-end, the cost wasn't.
