Michelle should not be giving massages. What she does is a body rub down. There is no attention to obvious knots. She asked the pressure and I said firm. She was firm but doing anything effective. Literally just rubbung my skin in long strokes.She also did more on the left than my right? And she does something with her hand where she removes it mid stroke and then puts it back throughout the entire massage. Too fast to be checking a phone but not right either. I get massages all the time and my normal masseuse was not available so I thought I would give a new place a try. Not going to go there again. Maybe they have other good therapists, but if they are allowing her to work there then I question their hiring. read more

I've been coming here twice a month for a year now, and I have thoughts. I only book with Corlis bc I love me some her lol. My issue is that whenever I pay, the system glitches and charges me twice. Normally it's not a big deal, but I find it inconvenient having my money tied up because of an issue with the system. Recently, Corlis told me she'd just charge me when I come again and get paid less. I wasn't having that because I don't feel like it was her fault. Normally, they are very professional, but today was awful. The masseuse, Corlis, texted me 20 minutes before my appointment asking me if I could come at 10:30 instead of 10. I was already on the way and had made arrangements so that I could be on time. I arrived before she did. She came in looking like she had just stepped out the shower, hair soak and wet, with a rushed energy. The thing is this: on their website they tell you to respect the masseuse's time and if you don't, you still have to pay 100% of the price, but they are allowed to not respect your time at all without any repercussion. Anyway, Violeta ended up doing my massage and I was glad cause I didn't want Corliss' scattered energy anywhere near me. I received a prenatal 60 minute massage by Amanda. It was fantastic. The rooms are so beautiful. The light fixtures are beautiful shining on the ceiling. She started me out on my back and massaged my face, scalp and shoulders. Then sat me up and massaged my feet and legs. She asked if I was comfortable to lay on my stomach and I said yes. Without realizing what day it was, I booked my massage (first time to MMB) on St. Patrick's Day, which was a Saturday. I was worried the outside noise would be bothersome, but as soon as Ashley put her angelic hands on my body, I was in total nirvana. Less than pleased with my massage yesterday (with Kelly I think). I had requested multiple times for the main focus of my massage to be in my neck and shoulders with hard pressure, due to soreness from a recent injury. Yet, I ended up with a full body, unfocused and mild pressure massage and still left with neck and shoulder soreness. My neck muscle knots were rolled over, and not delved into or addressed, basically only acknowledged they were there. I really needed a true deep tissue focused massage. Additionally, at the end, there was no discussion of what to expect, need to hydrate, or what she found on massage. It was just a request of payment. I've had many massages, and this has never happened. If water isn't offered, it is always encouraged to "flush out the lactic acid. Though I appreciate the work done on my arms, legs, hand and feet, that really is not what I had asked for. And at $80 for a massage (before tip), I was expecting my wishes to be respected. Given the excellent reviews, I am so sad I was disappointed by this massage. read more

I wish it was a massage on the table but since it was for an event, we did the chair massage which was still really awesome. Each person got a 10 mins massage but it was the best 10 mins of your life. I personally like deep tissue type of massages, and they did an awesome job at getting into my knots. They do provide table services for when you go regularly instead of an event. And I believe it is an appointment only instead of having an option to walk in. I previously loved this business, but unfortunately the customer service was HIGHLY disappointing when speaking to the owner today. I was gifted a certificate before COVID-19 struck and because the pandemic I did not feel comfortable going in to use it. I called today to see if it were still good and what the business was doing to extend the deadline of expiration due to the virus. Instead of being understanding and taking a loyal customer into consideration I was told that they were only closed 2 months and that I could have come in *mid pandemic* to redeem it- despite my uncomfortableness to go. It was very disappointing and unprofessional to see this business be so in-sensitive regarding a large impact on their customers' wellbeing. In the last 15 years I have lived in numerous cities, both big and small, and get massages a few times a year, but it can be difficult to find a massage like the one I had yesterday.
