It was our first visit being new patients as husband and wife. The doctor and his staffs are professional, cordial, attentive and accomodating. Been member of Optum for almost 5+ yrs. THey uisued to be good. This year I would say they are the worst Meg Grp there is. THey have termed my elig on their own for more than 5x. I'm a senior mbr and as a SR mbr they should call my HealthPlan before they can terminate me. I have rec'd 2 Med bills from my Dr and AGAIN as a SR mbr I shouldn't be getting bill specially I have a medical coverage. Up to this time they haven't pay my bill. The keep saying they changed their system and the system terminating my coverage. They don't even apologize for their mistake and employees are rude. Bad enough good doctors resigns so Optum to be is like In and Out Burger. Have already told them this before and no one bothered fixing the problem. Rating -10 read more

My Parent's PCP is retiring and I brought her to Dr. Buschmann's for a new patient welcoming. The doctor made a two second appearance in the lobby, but seemed pleasant in attitude and demeanor. My review, however, is for the staff at this new location for my parent. They were outstanding! Was was meant to be a simply meet and greet, the staff immediately was attentive to my concerns for my parent and assisted on initiating all first steps. Great first impressions by the staff! I am hoping the actual care and visits are just as great as this meet and greet! read more

They scam people by asking you to sign consent to treat forms in the lobby and then the PA orders tests she doesn't talk to you about. Because the venipuncture is done in the office -- Optum and HCP before them were not always doing this -- they don't show you a lab slip, which is being sent to Labcorp anyway, and you have no idea that unnecessary tests were ordered until your PPO processes the claim. This is criminal. With Optum just announcing they are closing even more urgent cares than they already have, cutting their ties with Providence, making patients wait months to see real doctors or offering the substandard option of PAs who don't listen to their patients, and planning to fire 500 employees by next spring, it seems this is corporate healthcare at its worst. Any other medical group in the SFV has to be better than this now! read more

The customer service here is horrible. They cancel your appointments with no regard and reschedule you months down the line. That is unacceptable. Appointments that's are rescheduled should be put on the books immediately. I don't care if you have to come in early, stay late or push back someone else. If you care anything about your patients you would get it done. My July appointment was rescheduled for September, 2 months later. I even tried to call and get a sooner appointment and absolutely nothing was available. I waited for my appointment today September 20th at 4:00 and guess what? No appointment on the books!! Whoever called me to cancel and reschedule the appointment didn't even put the appt on the books that she offered me. I sat in the waiting room for 40 minutes while they tried to figure it out and nothing. She couldn't even squeeze me in given this error. Zero courtesy. Highly disappointed in the care provided. Or should I say lack there of. On top of that, I asked for the number to complain, I've been on hold for 57 minutes and counting. I'm changing medical groups. This is ridiculous. No regard for people's time. Chose a different medical group. Especially if you're seeing a specialty provider like a dermatology. Don't expect care providers here to go above and beyond. Dr.Bushmann was (moved out of state) my primary care physician for over 7 years. I just have to say he is one of the best doctors that I have had in my lifetime. Through the years as his patient I dealt with many health issues from severe migraines to now with Fybromalgy. He is Knowledgeable, caring, considerate and patient. He really listens to you & is open to trying different treatments until you get what works best for you! I can say I really miss him & just hope that I find a doctor in my new residence that comes close to him! I know the wait can be difficult but it is worth it! I have appreciated his Nurses & can't complain about their work (consistent staff). When I have called his office with questions his staff is courteous & calls you back with answers. I highly recommend Dr. Bushmann and envy those that are still his patients. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Buschmann for around 10 years and every time I visit him he's patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. He's one of the better Doctors I've dealt with. The office is like most busy medical offices but they do get you in without too much wait time. read more

I really like Dr. Buschmann as a doctor, but it's pretty impossible to get an appointment. I had an appointment scheduled with him for 2 months and I was informed a few days before that it needed to be rescheduled. When I called back to reschedule, I was told the next available appointment wasn't for 3 weeks. Sorry, but that's unacceptable when it's not my fault that the appointment needed re-scheduling. read more

I have had nothing but good interactions with Dr. Buschmann over the years. He's a common-sense doc, which in an internist is wonderful. His job is to keep me healthy, not to grace the cover of Men's Health Magazine. I can't recommend him highly enough. read more

I have been his patient for a while, he is very nice and attentive but his staff are very stupid. when i first signed up with him i filled out all the papers and on the last page where it asked if they can call and leave a detailed msg i said yes and i marked yes. every time the staff call me to inform me of an approval or referral, they just ask me to call back without leaving a detailed message on the subject matter if the request or referral was approved or not it is simple right? The reason i had marked yes on question whether they are allowed leaving a message on my cell is that i am very busy and on the phone for my job all the time and not able to call back and wait for a receptionist to pick up and give them all the security answers and so on and wait for them to look up and get me the answer(which they could easly leave it on my cell), so i marked yes on the relevant question. Brought the matter to the Doctor's attention and apparently he does not care losing a patient. Today again i had called and request a referral and one his stupid staff called and left a msg asking me to call back so i am signing up with another doctor and hopefully the new Dr's staff will not be as stupid as dr. Buschman's. read more

This review is not about Darin Buschmann, but the inept and clueless employees in his clinic who process the registration of a new patient. I was not able to be registered at his clinic as a sole patient, because his office staff was not able to adequately process our family medical insurance that was in my wife's name. read more

Couldn't get an appointment for 4 weeks. The office staff is ridiculous. The address was listed wrong online and I drove 20 miles in the wrong direction. On my drive over to the wrong address I tried calling to make sure I was going to the right place and they had me on hold for 15 minutes. Finally answered phone when I realized it was wrong and I let them know I would be a little late. They told me I had the wrong appointment time but to come in anyway. When I got there I had to wait till other customers were taken care of then I was handed my new patient papers. In the middle of filling them out I hear the office nurses whispering saying she's too late she needs to reschedule. I talked to them and they said you are too late we need to reschedule you, you took too long to get here. They told me it would take 15 minutes to get there from where I had driven initially and it took me about 20 minutes tops. Said I was wrong and I took too long and rolled their eyes at me when I asked why would they say to even come in if he couldn't see me. They said they could schedule me for an appointment the next day so I thought at least they are trying to help me a little. Nurse looked at computer and was just pressing the up and down arrow key not really looking and said "Oh, never mind we don't have an appointment for you" at that point I said just forget it I'll find a new doctor. Didn't try to stop me or say sorry or anything. Can't say anything about the doctor himself but he definitely needs to teach his office staff some manners because at that rate he will lose all of his patients. read more
