Service has been out for eight days and counting. Not one person in this whole company that can fix it. Technician was here yesterday and now waiting another week for another technician that cannot repair from my home. It is their equipment on their poles, not my house. So why am I waiting another week? This company has no one that cares about current customers. Busy doing new installs and not a technician available for repairs to their own equipment. let me start by saying, do not open an account with Optimum in Bullhead City, AZ due to several lack of. Worst in business I have ever experienced. No internet for several days, give very little connection and charge over $60.00 a month for a system unable to function within 30 days. Upon disconnect, which by the way went with no errors until 3 days before disconnect, (by the way the bill was paid in advance) I woke and they decided to disconnet without my knowledge. So I called to get the service back up which took 3 hours. I was charged a reconnection fee due to my billing cycle, which was not explained at all during the request for disconnection. 2 hours after the service was up disconnect again, agent said I owed $5.00, I paid before the reconnection. Prior to there, was no balance due, after the reconnect I had to pay $10.00, (according to a different agent balance due). I was transfered to different departments just to reconnect to disconnect. The original disconnect was on September 9th, the reconnect date was September 8th and the final disconnect date, same, September 8th. 2 days later I notice the internet was not disconnect, I called had to pay an addition $65.00 because of a new billing cycle. Yes I was angry, I paid to shut it all down and advised them never call me, email, text nor my company Blue Vision ever. A female agent called me and wanted to know what happened....I expressed since the call was recorded go back and listen.....she finally got the message and disconnected the service since I was told will be shut off October 10, 2025...The service was disconnected on September 11, 2025. We've had the worst service with optimum Bullhead city. I don't even care about the rude customer service that we receive but the fact that we've been paying to have basic Internet for six months and they never installed our service but yet they were quick to charge my account every month! The reason for canceling, I was told that I could put my TV service on Vacation as this service was our winter home. When we call them to suspend tv they said no. We signed up with Suddenlink against all of our friends advice. They said it is the worse service bec it is always down and not working. Sure enough, it never worked right from day one and we had Aaron out weekly if not daily trying to fix it. Suddenlink became Optimum. Now our internet is working most of the time, but our billing is always wrong and my hubby always has to call. We are on vacation and he had to spend 10 minutes on the phone with Zamorie and she said she talked to her manager and he agreed our billing was wrong and will fix it. Even though they said they did it, they did not. Today my hubby calls again sits on phone for almost 20 minutes waiting to speak to supervisor and speaks to the Supervisor Antony who makes different claims (that are not true) as to why we are being charged $203.and change instead of our monthly billing of $60.75 then hangs up on my hubby. Shame on you Antony especially for being a Supervisor and leader/role model to your employees. If you aren't customer service friendly then you should be in a different job. I have been by my hubby's side both days and he never once spoke disrespectfully, unkindly, or anything to be treated that way. He never even raised his voice! Unlike I would have!!!! He was just matter of fact...gave you the facts and told you at this point he wants our bill corrected. And to be charged the $60.75 a month for the remainder of our year plus an additional 6 months at $60.75 bec he's tired of calling every month and 2x this month and that's what it will take to keep us from walking and going to Verizon. My internet has been out since July 5th. Today is august 27th. I have called twice a week since the original outage. They sent a tech to my house to determine the problem was on the optimum/Suddenlink pole. They are giving me a run around saying a third party vendor is scheduled to fix the problem but they have 14 days. It's been over 45 and no resolution. They have no problem collecting my money every month and not providing the services i am paying for. They won't let me cancel or refund my money until the problem is resolved. I need Wi-Fi for my daily life. I am getting sick and tired of when my Wi-Fi fails, and it fails on a daily basis. I am writing this review using cellular data because my Wi-Fi signal is so freaking poor. How long is this going to go on??? When I lived in New York State I had the same Wi-Fi provider for a decade and never, ever, had an outage or poor Wi-Fi signal. Wish I could submit 0 stars. We had this service for 10 months, then I cancelled and switched to CenturyLink. Even our install tech from CenturyLink said his experience with Optimum aka Suddenlink was the worst. Our internet went out every single day for at least two hours. Some days it was out for 12 hours. We have even gone several days without internet. Techs have come out several times with no resolve. They confirmed each time it was not our internal wiring and that the issue was on their end. The last tech submitted the issue to his supervisor after he was unable to fix the issue. The supervisor never came when they were supposed to three times in a row. Very unprofessional for a supervisor to no call/no show not just once but 3 SEPARATE TIMES. I contacted them again and explained this. The phone rep at that time, Abdul, stated he was putting me on hold to check the notes on my account. He left me on hold for 35 minutes until their system disconnected me. So I contacted them through the chat/text feature. That rep said they had to submit the issue to their back office and that would take 24-72 hours. Even then after waiting more than 72 hours no one contacted us. Our internet at that point had been out for 3 days. We need it for work! Like most people do these days. This has been the WORST customer service I've ever received from a company. Each time you have to contact their customer service it takes over 10 minutes just to get through the automated router reset process. This is ridiculous. When I am forced to call it means I have tried every other option. Phone calls to this company are a minimum of an hour. I decided today 11/29/2021 just to cancel service and make sure they credit me for the days that I have been without service. I was informed by a Rep if I canceled without letting tech come out then they would not credit me for the days I have not had service. It sounds and looks good on the website. That's about the end of any positive interaction with this corporation . I ordered service prior to moving states. The first lie was by the sales associate on the phone that said " I can give the same deals you get online". Lie Lie Lie.. The service was connected and speeds looked good, and then the service began to drop and disconnect. That has gotten so bad that internet is now off more than on.. yep.. We have had 10 technicians out, some good some horribly not qualified.. or don't care. 3 techs have put in requests for suddenlink to fix their line that comes from the street. They are charging me $764.33 for One month of which (I've have unlimited since Jan 2020) they claimed in never had unlimited internet and i went over my limit and I need to pay $267.00 now to turn it back on and pay the rest of the bill in 10 days. Suddenlink corporate office finally resolved my data overages I was charged for in my vacant home. The gentleman called me yesterday explaining the overages were valid according to there overage team. I explained the circumstances AGAIN and told him that was insanity, no way could we have data overage. I was contacted the next day and was told I would get a refund and a tech had made an error. We really like Suddenlink. We have had Dish, Direct Verizon Fios and we would take Suddenlink any day. We have never had a problem and our internet/WIFI is always running and very fast response. Well this is my opinion and I still feel this way. Why the 3 stars? We had to cancel our service with them due to the high monthly rate. I was disappointed about this and also a little upset. When I told them we were canceling and the reason why, they did not attempt to sweeten the deal so to speak. We were always on time with our payments and we had them over a year. They were offering new clients a very cheap rate. Evidently loyalty means nothing to them. Too bad! We are back at Suddenlink for Cable, Internet and landline. Phew now we can relax. I won't name the company we went with for our internet but it was terrible! Really bad! Always losing connection and daily had problems with streaming. Nothing has changed with this wretched excuse for a company. I had received an automated phone call from them (my TV/Internet provider) last Monday evening stating there would be a scheduled Internet Maintenance/Upgrade Outage beginning that night at midnight until 6 a.m. Tuesday, and it would last "no later than 6 a.m. Tuesday." Six hours. Fine. I understood. These things are sometimes necessary. At least this time they had the common courtesy to call. It came back up at around 7 a.m. yesterday morning, after almost 4 days. I had called them every day since concerning the delay. Their Call Center must be in Pakistan, or Moronia, or Kurcrapistan, and every operator speaks broken English. They informed me there would be further delays, they didn't know why, and some had stated they showed no outage in my area. I was finally able to resolve the fiasco yesterday morning. 1) The automated call I had ordered to inform me when the Internet was repaired never came. 2) No one told me that once it was fixed I needed to call them so they could reboot my modem (actually THEIR modem) from their end. 3) No one had told me that said modem's monitor light's configuration would change from what it had been. At a glance it had appeared still dead. So it appears that everything had been up/running since Tuesday morning, unbeknownst to me due to a lack of communication from them. As with past debacles from this company, it's beyond frustrating, and it confirms my long-held belief that they elected "our three best men" as their CEO's: MOE, LARRY, AND CURLY! read more

We have not had service for over a month. They send out technicians who all say the promos at the street, but every next tech says they can't do that kind of repair and put in yet another work order. The company says we still have to pay our bill and that they cannot give credit until after it's fixed, even if we cancel. Local is no more helpful than calling the main number. The customer service reps at the local location and on the phone are a joke. I was one of the customers that walked out of the bullhead office due to the lack of help. My neighbor was told there was an outage but my question about that was either ignored or i received answers of "I don't know" or "our system doesn't show an outage". The technician and maintenance men who came out were amazing. Sadly, the WiFi worked for about 6 hours and stopped working about 12:30 this morning. This whole situation has been a headache and the employees who are supposed to provide "customer service" definitely needs more training! I ended up calling corporate yesterday and am supposed to receive a call from them later today. Hopefully they will be able to assist in getting the issues I have resolved. read more

I apologize for not updating this review sooner. After a month long battle with Suddenlink that culminated with my sending an "Overnight UPS Letter" to the Senior Vice President of Operations in St Louis, MO, I was put in contact with Dawn Vidal who is the Operations Manager out of Lake Havasu, AZ. Once Dawn got on board, through phone calls and e-mails to me, things started progressing. She made sure that the my charges were as they had initially been quoted, she followed up with all the technicians and they made the changes necessary to fulfill the internet speed I was promised. Don't get me wrong....this was a SLOW and extremely frustrating process. One I'm not sure I would go through again. However, at this point I am satisfied with the service provided by Suddenlink. My advice to anyone would be, if your paying for a service that you aren't getting........don't just put up with it. Don't just settle. If the customer service people you get when you call in with an issue can't help you, don't stop there. Ask to speak to a supervisor. If they can't help go higher. I say this, not for little petty issues, but for legitimate problems. Go on the internet and look up the corporate offices and take your problems to those at the top. Always remember which direction crap flows. Always down hill and not from the bottom up..... Thanks to David Giles and Dawn Vidal my previous problems were solved. read more

They claimed I started my account with them in May, HELLO I called in to get it started for my move in date which was June 29th, NOT MAY! MORONS!!! Our apartment changed a month before we moved, I called in and gave them my new apartment #, yah bunch of stupid idiots couldn't even get that fixed.
