If there was a 0.0001 star that would be too much. We were lied to from day one. $7900 paint job that ended up costing use an additional $3000 to fix the issues with another painter after we got rid of Cameron and Optimized. We were quoted 3-4 days for inside and 3-4 days outside it was over two weeks and then they still didn't finish. His crews were never told to complete the items on the quote. He then told the crews to ignore what I am telling them is to be done and only listen to him. Cameron said he would be by each day to make sure the work was staying on track, huge lie. Never saw him until I called to complain that work on the quote wasn't being completed then the crew did work that didn't need to be done and now I will have to pay to have it fixed so the wood matches. Texture touch up was like a 5 year old with playdough. Painter did not power wash the house before painting, just painted over dirt and grime so I have to pay to have it totally redone. Paint on my furniture, paint on my roof, paint on my neighbor's house, damage to my metal roof, never replaced the wood around the garage door and never refinished the front door, paint on the stair treads. Gave me a free paint "first responder discount" that was great but I had to go buy paint TWICE. The crew was to fix two small nail holes in a faux painted room. The fix resulted in having to have the entire room repainted. Trash was to be picked up every day, that didn't happen. Replacement boards on the master window were to be James Hardy, that didn't happen either, we got masonite. Big difference. When I told him I needed him to be here in the morning to go over the issues I had he showed up and said he had to go visit another job and would be right back. Never made it back. Had to call him again because for the third time the master window was not being repaired per his quote. He didn't show up but had me speak to an interpreter who told me Cameron told her to tell the crew to not listen to me even though I was holding the quote in my hand. She told me he was not going to pay them for more than a day and a half. When I had him come back to the job because they needed more paint and I was not going to buy it this time he sensed my anger over the job and instead of hanging around to make sure it was all handled he drove up put the paint on the front porch and left. I was a custom home builder for many years and came in contact with many different contractors and even the worst ones had integrity but this was just a joke. Armature playing way out of his league. There is a big difference in being satisfied with the work and just wanting you to get out of my house before you cost me more money. read more

We used Optimized Painting (Farmers Branch) to paint the brick and siding and to redo some of our wood work (update to a more appealing cedar wood). They were a recommendation we found on Yelp/Next Door. The team (Salvador and Michael) led by Dennis pressure washed the home, trim and siding. They repaired cracks in our brick and pulled out old wiring, replaced rotted wood that needed it, scraped areas where the previous owner had grown vines on the home, removed some support beams from in the patio to open it up, wrapped our columns in cedar in front and back and painted or stained everything! The two guys Michael and Salvador were awesome and did an incredible job with the prep work and with cleanup each day. I also really valued their ability to continuously give us a status update on where they were in the project, what they had left, and what time they'd be arriving/finishing the next day. Constant communication is a huge deal to me and the owner (Cameron) definitely met my standards and was great at communicating our needs to the team to ensure our needs were met. My advice to anyone wanting to take on a project this big is:1. Already have picked out your colors beforehand. They can give you a little guidance but going to Sherwin Williams and getting a pint of the different colors you're considering is worth it. Paint it on your house and see how it looks. 2. Make sure they place a layer of primer. There are new paint products that "contain a primer" which work fine. There are some paints made exclusively for brick. Make sure they're using the right one. 3. Be sure to continue giving your free guidance on what needs to be done and try to take photos or keep a list of the little things that still need paint, etc. 4. Find a company that won't charge you extra for the paint and wood repairs (including wood stain), make sure it's all inclusive. This was a huge plus for us! 5. Ours came with a 2 year warranty (let's hope we don't have to use it!) which is one of the reasons I picked the company.6. You can find very cheap labor out there but make sure they're good quality and ALWAYS ask for photos of their work. If they don't have a Facebook, Instagram, or Yelp page, etc I would steer away from them. Overall, I would give this company 5 stars! As a team, they deserve it! read more

..Very expensive for the results delivered...never covered expensive furniture when rolling on the paint, cleaned their supplies on my grass but more importantly, went in parts of the house they weren't suppose to be without permission...I will never engage this company again...think twice, check out references, get other competitive bids..make sure you provide oversight and know where these people are at all times, words yo the wise... Cameron... You have a proclivity for telling only half the story, YOURS..MY TURN. For your information and to set the record staight, I give negative reviews to those companies that fail to live up to their promises of customer satisfaction, yours being one of them. There was only one other review that I left of which is none of your business...this is so characteristic of your observations, you know nothing of the circumstances leading up to my review and yet you draw generalized conclusions that are totally offbase...so obtuse. As far as what is customary I will determine that not you, kindly keep your opinion to yourself when it comes to my primary residence...at the very least they should of ask permission. There is no place that says I have to accommodate their bathroom needs, thats your responsibility my friend. I listened to what you said, you failed to understand what I said..but then again, this is is typical of you and how you conduct business. Furthermore, it was your idea not mine of refunding the original contract price...Im not interested. Ive hired someone else to finish what your crew were unable to accomplish the first time... I noticed you're no longer on Home Advisor where the majority of all your bad reviews were located. You know Cameron, you can only hide for so long... Optimized Painting has just finished working in my living and dining rooms. I couldn't be happier! They were so professional in every way.
