**DO NOT RECOMMEND - UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL TREATMENT TOWARDS IMMIGRANTS**
My experience with Optimal Performance Medicine was nothing short of appalling. From the moment we arrived, my immigrant husband and I were treated with a complete lack of professionalism and respect. The front desk staff was shockingly aggressive, raising her voice at us on three separate occasions. Her tone was hostile and dismissive, which is unacceptable in any setting, let alone a medical office where people expect care and compassion.
We had followed the website's instructions and booked our second appointment online, only for the front desk to cancel it without giving us any reason or apology. Instead of trying to accommodate us, we were informed that the office had recently changed their hours for immigration appointments to a tiny window of 2-3:30 PM Monday - Thursday only. This change, which was never communicated to us, made it impossible to fit within our schedule. This change was also made after we had already paid in full for the service and were refused a refund.
What was most frustrating, however, was the complete lack of willingness to help us. When we asked for a solution or a different appointment time, both Dr. Skardasis and the front desk staff refused to make any effort. They seemed uninterested in providing any level of service that might accommodate us, especially as immigrants, which left us feeling dismissed and disregarded. It wasn't until I called back on Monday and spoke to the office manager, Jack, that we were finally able to schedule an appointment. But honestly, the amount of stress and frustration it took to get there was unacceptable.
If you're an immigrant or simply someone who expects to be treated with respect and basic decency, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. This office's treatment of my husband and myself was nothing short of disgraceful, and we will not be returning. We will also be reporting our experience with this facility to immigration. No one should have to go through this when immigration is as hard as it is already. Save yourself the trouble and find a practice that values its patients and their time. read more
