Me: "I woke up yesterday with a sore throat, and for me, that's usually the first sign of a cold... NP: "Do you have a fever?" Me: "I felt a bit feverish last night." NP: (with an annoyed look on her face) "Did you take your temperature?" Me: "No, I don't have a thermometer." NP: "ok, so no, you do not have a fever." There were several instances when anytime I gave anything more than a yes or no answer, her tone would get very impatient.
