Try any other CVS in the vicinity before coming here. To echo what previous reviewer Jenn H said, the nurse practitioner was extremely rude. We all want to feel cared for and listened to anytime we see a medical professional. You WON'T get that here. Here is an example of the dialog that went on between me and the NP: NP: "Do you have a primary care physician to whom I can forward information from this visit?" Me: "Well, I just moved here so it's a bit complicated. I do in the city I just moved from..." NP: cuts me off and says, "so I take that as a no." NP: "So what brings you in today?" Me: "I woke up yesterday with a sore throat, and for me, that's usually the first sign of a cold... (as I say this, she, for some reason, starts chuckling in a very rude, condescending way)...But I'm not experiencing any other cold symptoms, which I find unusual, so I'm here to make sure it's not strep." NP: "Do you have a fever?" Me: "I felt a bit feverish last night." NP: (with an annoyed look on her face) "Did you take your temperature?" Me: "No, I don't have a thermometer." NP: "ok, so no, you do not have a fever." There were several instances when anytime I gave anything more than a yes or no answer, her tone would get very impatient. In a very dismissive tone, she said I didn't have strep while she got the test ready, almost like she was saying, "ugh, I don't think you have strep but fine I'll test you for it." It got to a point where I had to bite my tongue from calling her out on her bad attitude. I HATE that I wasted a $20 copay on this. I like the idea of Minute Clinic, but the nurse who works there needs to work on her bedside manner (Christine). She was not professional at all. As I arrived, she was talking about how her Dunkin' Donuts coffee tasted like a turd and she said she was "pissed off" about it. I feel like she wasn't listening to what I was telling her in my appointment. I had to repeat my medications and other info to her (because she wasn't listening). I feel like she didn't really care what I had to say. I said "I know you are busy, so I will keep this short." She said, "Yeah, we don't have all day" with a straight face. At least pretend like you give a hoot. I have seen her once before and remember her being just as rude. I have filled many prescriptions and spent a lot of money at this CVS, but I'm done. I won't be back. I will be sure to go to Walgreens. read more

The nurse practitioner was on personal call when I arrived. Unwilling to answer questions. Rude and slammed door. Treatment was offensive and when at front counter asking to report her to manager she told me to leave it be escorted out. When I asked for her managers name she provided an 866 call in number. I called back and got her managers name/number and left a message. No call back. Reported back to store manager and requested incident report. Civil and respected treatment by CVS competition and Emory Healthcare should be concerned about this nurse practitioner. As a health care professional myself, $129 self pay to see a masters level provider for 10 min is ridiculous. I left and went to Piedmont UC to see a physician for about the same $. Yes I'm self pay, btw insurances for a month. Costly sinus infection. read more

I had a great experience at this MinuteClinic. I was able to make a same day appt and only had to wait about 5 minutes to be seen. I believe my doctor was Denise, however I could be wrong. She was very nice and and efficient, I was probably there for maybe 15 minutes. I felt Covid safety measures were being taken very seriously and at no time did I feel in distress or worried. I had to go here for a strep test. The doctor that i had to see was on duty 7-7-2020 at 6:20 pm, I won't name her specifically as i think this is a CVS minute clinic problem . She was very Rude and condescending. i don't normally care about people's bad attitude and i'll just shrug it off, but she was over the top. She got offended that i kept sanitizing my hands every time she had me touch something, like her pen or her oximeter. She stopped what she was doing and put her hands up and said "You're just wasting your sanitizer" very offendedly. She also said "Do you think I wouldn't clean my work place? I don't want to be sick either. I have to be on here all day." I told her "that's great, but while looking out for others, it is also our responsibility to look out for ourselves". i can't put my trust solely on everyone else, including doctors. i've seen many doctors use their gloves that they are using on me all over the place as well. My strep test came back negative, and i told her i needed to leave very fast because i need a covid test immediately, and i only had 30 minutes to get there and it was 28 minutes away. i was very worried about my health and since the strep test was negative, i was afraid it was covid19. She gave me the nastiest response without looking at me and put her hand up and said "No, i need to finish this appointment, just give me some time here! "ok. While she slowly finished typing for another 5 minutes just to hand me the paper that i did not even need, she rudely said while i was leaving "don't get in a wreck" . (Wow, really, smh, rude lady) Thanks to her, i missed the covid line by minutes and had to go to the emergency room instead, just to find out the CVS test she gave me was Wrong anyways and i DID have strep! i will never ever go here or to any CVS minuteclinic again. not to mention i got bad cheap drugs from the pharmacy a few months ago from China that put me into withdrawals from their ineffectiveness and had to transfer back to Publix . This little chain-clinic is inside CVS. I came here for my flu shot and was in and out within 30 minutes including wait time (with 2 people ahead of me). I was there mid-morning. There was a nurse practitioner there who was really professional and courteous but very efficient. They had a nice electronic sign-in computer where you key in all of your info like name, address, reason of visit...etc. I didn't have to fill a single piece of paper. It even tells how many people are ahead of you. The extra-nice plus was that they billed my insurance company so I didn't pay a dime. This was a lot easier than going to my own doctor's office to get my flu shot. read more

Rudest customer service ever! I had a 101.2 temp and the nurse or whoever was in charge argued with me about checking in. I asked if she could see me and she never answer me just turned her back. I asked again and she again did not answer me. I just left to somewhere else. I will never go here again!! Found out I had strep but the nurse did not care one bit. read more

The nurse here is beyond rude. I did the online registration as I had a fever and felt awful. I went up when it told me I had 30 minutes until I would be seen. Although my name was top on the list on the electronic queue she called 4 other people. I sat for 2 hours and finally asked her about it and she yelled at me that she had idea about an online registration (it's clearly on the website and gives you a code to enter when you get to the store) and that I could wait my turn or if I had a problem I could call the 800 number. I did and they were able to see my online registration. Others in line said she had been yelling at people for hours. This woman isn't fit to work with the public in any capacity much less healthcare. I wasted my afternoon then had to go see a real doctor. Never ever again will I go back read more

The nurse practitioner was good at diagnosing my problem. I am sure that she is in a time crunch; however, she cut my sentences off several times and showed an attitude when I had a question that she did not want to address. I was feeling poorly and when I was told to place my purse on the table, I accidentally placed on the wrong one and was fussed at about that. Later, she would ask questions and if I did not get right to the answer she wanted, she would interrupt me in a rude way. I have never been treated or spoken to this way in my life (I am 45.) in a doctor's office. If you have no other options, this place will be fine to diagnose your illness as long as you don't talk much and correctly follow directions as you are told. But if you have other options, you may feel better after going to a different office. :-) read more

The wait times and appointment times mean nothing. I came in the morning and the nurse had called in sick and the sub wasn't there after 45 min. The next day i waited for 50 min even with an appointment because she spent at least an hour with the previous patient (it was a couple who left their 2 small children unattended to run around the store). Their system seems to allow about 20 min per patient so it's a big problem if you spend an hour with one. read more

Stay away. The nurse practitioner was probably the rudest medical professional I have ever come into contact with. She skipped over a woman who had been waiting for more than an hour and called me to come in. When the woman told her she'd been skipped, the NP yelled at her to, "Give her a minute!" And then proceeded to whisper profanities under her breath while she searched her computer. Like another reviewer said, the cashier was more helpful. I ended up leaving. read more

The NP Denise (not me:-) is SO sweet, knowledgeable and takes the time to explain what's going on, medication needed and prevention tips. This clinic is always busy but if you sign in on line and have patience it's worth the wait! BTW it's a walk in clinic so sometimes the wait can get long but doesn't reflect on caring service by NP Denise. read more

I took my dad to have a DOT physical. He was seen by a nurse practitioner. I asked her name she gave me the name of Denise Reynolds NP. She was extremely rude. She would not listen when I explained a whisper test could be performed for a DOT physical she said harshly well if he fails the test he will be seeing an audiologist. I also told her he comes to the Minute Clinic every year for a DOT exam she said: "I don't know how that's possible because we rarely do them and he is not in our system." She was correct. I was thinking about another clinic. She stated you can go to another clinic When I said ok, I think that's a good idea with his forms in her hand she said you can get out. She was horrible with communication and did not uphold the values I thought being a nurse practitioner would. I purposefully went with my dad to see an NP. He knew about the high-quality cutting edge care given by nurse practitioners. It is a huge disappointment for patients, the profession and the mission that MinuteClinic states. Her hostile and lack of communication skills are frightening. My father and I will never go to another Minute Clinic. read more
