My wife and I both went in for our annual physicals and we both got bills for what was supposed to be a free preventative services. Mine was $50 and my wife's was over $350! After a dozen calls to their billing department (who is never available and when you finally reach someone they claim to not be authorized to make a decision) they disclosed the reason for the $350 is because the PA asked my wife a question (which she answered) and they considered that not to be "preventative care" and so without any disclosure charged her over $350 for a separate office visit which our insurance refused to cover. Talk about entrapment! If you use them, be very careful to not answer any questions the Doctor ask you as they will use this as an opportunity to hit you with a sneaky bill. It is nice they respond to the reviews in this forum, but please note this is not helpful as the phone number they give is the same one that you can't get ahold of anyone in billing and the email they give, no one responds to except to say they are unauthorized to help.

After 10 years of chronic pain and a previous ACDF surgery, I was referred to Dr. Barnett. After one visit discussing all of the previous treatments and current MRI, she suggested surgery, but something less invasive than the two previous doctors I had seen. She was very clear in why she recommend what she wanted to do and set clear expectations. A month later, she does the Laminectomy at Emory at Johns Creek. She was so gentle and comforting the day of surgery and held my hand as a went under. Three weeks later, I am walking, literally pain free, without any fusion and without tons of post operative meds. I have been so pleased with her care, her staff, and the experience I would recommend her over any other neurosurgeon in ATL. She is truly amazing at what she does! God Bless Dr. Barnett.
