I was there because I needed to go help my brother (who is fighting cancer) so I wanted to make sure my cold symptoms were not covid or some other issue that could endanger my immune-compromised brother. My medical care was great - the nurse who took my vitals, and Hannah who actually performed the tests, were outstanding. The problem is the QR code they gave me to scan so I could get the results never worked. I learned during the visit that I was not positive for Covid, but all of the other results were supposed to be available the next day via a scan, but they weren't. I called the office and they said wait another day, so I did. After that, I revisited the site of the URL daily for weeks, and left many phone messages and a couple of emails but never heard back.. Today I got the bill for that treatment. I understand mistakes happen regarding the URL for the test results, but there is no excuse for not getting back to me. I will ultimately pay the bill so they don't ding my credit rating, but it will leave a very bad taste in my mouth. -- I've now updated this review from 2 to 3 stars. The business owner reached out to me (after I copied my Yelp review to their website) and has resolved the billing issue. I'll still not get the test results, but at least they've taken care of what they can.

Instead of resolving the issue professionally, I was met with attitude and lack of urgency every step of the way. I called the kind lady at the front desk, and asked if the doctor would see me today since I wouldn't make it there until 7PM. I showed up around 7:15, and was checked in no problem. I was called to the back and the nurse did my vitals. There was a portion that needed to be filled out by me and a portion for the doctor to fill out. Maybe I missed it, but I was not told to have my portion filled out before seeing the doctor. I usually filled it out with the doctor and go into detail about my medical history (not my first time getting this form filled out). Dr. Harvey came in and immediately scolded me for not having my portion of the form not completed. Made me feel like a complete burden by saying "that's not filled out? You do know we are closing right?" Like I didn't call before to see if I could still come AND pay to be serviced. I guess the nurse that came in before him was there for decoration, because he came in and asked for the exact same basic information. Shallow questions, had no desire to learn more detail about my medical history and wanted to make an uninformed decision without asking questions. I felt rushed and unimportant, and it was so painfully obvious that he wanted me to get out. Then he went out in the hallway with the nurse continually being rude, saying loudly "she didn't even put her name on this form" like I am not right there in the other room. Like he couldn't even be bothered to even ask for my name. He is one of those elderly people who think they can talk to younger people any kind of way, because I guarantee he would not talk to his peers or someone his own age like that. If he doesn't want to see people that late, maybe he should have it where the cut off is at 6PM or maybe not work that late so other people will have to deal with that. I was not treated like a professional who paid for a service. I definitely would not recommend and I will not be back ever.

For a general practitioner the doctor you want is Scott Leeth. He was able to diagnose that I had kidney disease, when my endocrinologist never saw that coming. I ended up in the hospital and was able to be treated . I am now on dialysis and I am feeling better. If he hadn't caught this I probably would be dead right now. As for Dr. Miles Mason III, he was key in my treatments while I was in the hospital and during my recovery at home. I had also developed a very bad infection in tandem with the kidney disease and was instrumental in helping me with my wound care that came as a result. He also is the one who installed my catheter for the PD dialysis that I now do at home. I owe a lot to these two men and I thank them for saving my life. However long that will be. The staff at Mason Primary Care are very friendly. I will deduct 1 star because when you make a follow up appointment they will not call you to remind you of the appointment a day or two before, like many other practices do. Sure I need to update my Google Calendar but having that extra reminder is very helpful. Other than that as long as I live in this area they will continue to be my primary physicians.
