Took really good care of me. Now my go to clinic. They really care about you and take their time to make sure you have everything you need.

I am shocked at all the high ratings. Dr. Harvey was incredibly rude to me during my visit. I have…read morebeen calling around to get a form completed for school so that I can go on a trip out the country. I called the kind lady at the front desk, and asked if the doctor would see me today since I wouldn't make it there until 7PM. I showed up around 7:15, and was checked in no problem. I was called to the back and the nurse did my vitals. There was a portion that needed to be filled out by me and a portion for the doctor to fill out. Maybe I missed it, but I was not told to have my portion filled out before seeing the doctor. I usually filled it out with the doctor and go into detail about my medical history (not my first time getting this form filled out). Dr. Harvey came in and immediately scolded me for not having my portion of the form not completed. Made me feel like a complete burden by saying "that's not filled out? You do know we are closing right?" Like I didn't call before to see if I could still come AND pay to be serviced. I guess the nurse that came in before him was there for decoration, because he came in and asked for the exact same basic information. Shallow questions, had no desire to learn more detail about my medical history and wanted to make an uninformed decision without asking questions. I felt rushed and unimportant, and it was so painfully obvious that he wanted me to get out. Then he went out in the hallway with the nurse continually being rude, saying loudly "she didn't even put her name on this form" like I am not right there in the other room. Like he couldn't even be bothered to even ask for my name. He is one of those elderly people who think they can talk to younger people any kind of way, because I guarantee he would not talk to his peers or someone his own age like that. If he doesn't want to see people that late, maybe he should have it where the cut off is at 6PM or maybe not work that late so other people will have to deal with that. I was not treated like a professional who paid for a service. I definitely would not recommend and I will not be back ever.

Had a great experience at the Advanced Care Center here! I came in with stomach problems and while…read morethey couldn't be fully solved here, I got very attentive and kind care. When I fainted during bloodwork, the nurses were so kind and immediately jumped into action to help. I will say that much like many urgent care/ER locations, you may be kept waiting a while after you're stabilized while the staff takes care of other patients. But everyone seemed to be doing their best to keep things rolling.

Getting a decent doctor is a hit and miss with Kaiser. I recently dealt with a bad ear infection in…read moremy left ear. I went to the ER in California and they prescribed Amoxicillon and eardrop. That was it until we requested a flush out in the ear. Then a nurse came in to do that and I still couldn't hear. Then, came back to Kaiser in GA and was seen by another doctor. The nurse said everything was flushed out. Still cant hear. Then went to this Gwinnett location for an ENT doctor that was FINALLY referred by a virtual doctor, lol. Finally, someone that was helpful. She listened tentatively and helped me requested an ENT doctor and EVEN suggested an audiologist. Shout out to Dr. Simon, the magical, virtual doctor that FINALLY implemented an effective solution. I have been with Kaiser for over 40 years. As a little girl under my Mother's benefits and now on my own benefits. Boy, has the healthcare industry really changed. I miss Dr. Ellis from California who has retired now. She was amazing, and haven't found another one quite like her. I would be more understanding about the "lack of attention" if this was a public healthcare. It's not, it's private care. And I am going to start looking at other options. This is not why I gave it a 2 stars though. I have to talk about the cost of medicine at this pharmacy. Fellow Americans the ENT doctor prescribed two nasal sprays that could possibly clear up or "push" out the fluid behind my eardrums. So we're trying the other direction instead of directly into the ears this time. When I walked into the Kaiser pharmacy, the cost of "Flonase" was $31.92?! AFRIN was not available. How convenient that internet was down so I couldn't compare prices on Amazon, lol. Nobody enjoys getting ripped off by the pharmaceutical companies and we all know that is a "CONTINUOUS" problem in America. Came to Walmart, Flonase was $13 and AFRIN original was $7. Both for under $30 bucks. Some of you reading this may not feel like this is such a big deal. You need to understand that to help your income grow, you need to budget and among other investments. But budget is key. Im writing this on behalf of you, who like to save money and not feel ripped off by the American Pharmaceutical companies. This is NOT okay. I've been a public servant for 23 years. I take my job seriously for those who are under MY care. The entire doctor's experience has been EXTREMELY disappointing to say the least. I dont understand the purpose or need for this when most of the time we are responded by different entry level nurses or seen by a "Physician's nurse." Nurses are the true superheroes in this industry. Titles are meaningless when a problem is unresolved. I have no words for this round of experience. My ears are still plugged and I pray I get it back in the next few weeks since it has been a week and a half since it has happened. Im also going to continue to write reviews for doctors and nurses who continue to go out of their way to care for you. They definitely deserve that shout out!
