Doctor's offices have gone through a lot in the last couple of years so I have given this office…read moremultiple chances to fix their issues and each time was very disappointed. Dr. Kelly and the physicians are wonderful. The nursing and office staff, however, are poorly trained/lack professionalism and provide very poor care. Without giving too much health information away about my child... we were given crucial newborn health information late/the nurses would not call back on numerous occasions. We were told "not to worry about it" and the nurse on call refused to listen to my child's respiratory sounds (which were croup) even despite me explaining that he had retractions. waiting times are not the greatest and the nurses are not accommodating nor creative in obtaining vitals/labs/etc. The waiting room area looks like it has not been updated since the 80s and I have never seen anyone intentionally cleaning the "sick" waiting area. Being a parent is difficult... the last thing you want to do is worry about the doctor's office staff giving you a hard time.

We have Dr. Sherwinter as our primary pediatrician and he is exceptionally good. He is one of Atlanta's finest and has been consistently featured as one of Atlanta magazine's top doctors. He demonstrated what an ideal pediatrician should be. He has been very generous in giving us referrals to other finest doctors in atlanta. I just hope he will not be retiring anytime soon. We have seen Drs.Reisman, Groeffer, Kelly and Berenson who were also skillful ,knowledgeable in their field and has demonstrated good bedside manner. 2. OFFICE - nothing fancy but clean. I'll give it a 3.5 3. OFFICE STAFF - they deserve a NO STAR -they've gone downhill. My recent experience was when i placed a call to make a sick appointment. I asked what's the earliest appt.they have -Destiny asked me whats wrong with my child and I replied she's been running a fever of 104 in the past 2 days and she said WHOA! Thats high! I replied that's why im calling and asking her the earliest appt.,she then told me that they only have Dr. Quarishi (the new doctor) which I had refused to see again bec he doesn't read his patient's chart before seeing them (he mistook my other daughter to be the one he's supposed to check) I felt that she should have asked for my preference and given me all options as my right as patient- She then told me she has Dr. Kelly at 430, so I requested her to book us for that. Later, I realized that I couldve checked the dunwoody location for any openings so i spoke to someone (which i missed to get the name while attending to a sick/cranky child) she asked me how quick we can get to Dunwoody, I said abt1 hr as we are still coming from the Forsyth area, she sarcastically remarked "i dont have any idea where is that" - Duh! They really lack manners and should be informed abt dos and donts in phone conversation. Anyway she booked us with Dr.Sherwinter. I informed her to cancel our initial booking in Alpharetta and she said she will. When we got to the Dunwoody location, the reception told me that we are not on the list - wow they really make it easy for parents with sick children! After I insisted that someone confirmed it with me, they eventually accommodated us otherwise I was prepared to make a scene with all the attitude that I have to endure from their staff. They have never apologized for their mistakes. 4. SICK APPOINMENTS - I'll give it 1 star, i dreaded it everytime i have to call them to make a sick appt cuz they are not therapeutic nor comforting at all. They make you feel that it's your fault that your child got sick. 5. NURSES - Overall, they are okay, the really good ones are gone, ill give them 3.5 stars, lately weve been seeing new nurses. Some appeared to have just got their LPNs as they seemed to be still struggling organizing their tasks.

I would strongly suggest avoiding Dr Nix. She has been the only doctor in the practice we have had very upsetting visits with. She was condescending, even rude and just honestly not helpful. Both times we were back within a few days to see another doctor and received alternate suggestions for care from those physicians that were actually helpful in resolving the issues.

This office has a very strange vibe to it. They are not friendly and warm at all. Something a pediatrician office should be at all times especially with kids. The ONLY reason we continued to go to this office is because they have availability and it is close by. However after recent experiences we will never return. The office is always empty while other peds offices are not even accepting new patients. This should have been warning enough. Previously my daughter was misdiagnosed according to another physician who we took her to the same day who claimed this office should have never let us leave if they claimed her diagnosis was fatal. Another recent visit, they seemed annoyed by us being there. We called and got a same day appointment and not once smile out of Dr. C - very stern and zero warmth. The front desk is not much better. Fake smile at best, zero genuiness. They charge $100 upfront and then bill you 2 weeks later for co-pay. When things keep appearing without explanation, I have to take time out of my very busy schedule to chase down what a co-pay is about and for what date of service. No clarity ever. All in all, I am so extremely disappointed in the way we were treated. I take my nanny in with me for help and they are extremely rude to her and do not acknowledge her presence. We will never endorse this behavior and hope no one else has to face the unkind experiences we have had.

The Nurse who did the piercing was personable, professional, and took her time to ensure we where comfortable. I am so pleased with the job she did. The office is so cute and clean too! Apparently all the rooms have different country themes. We were in the African room. Lastly, I do wanna point out that they do use medical plastic instead of metal earrings. This is the same material they use for a medical heart stent. This is to ensure there is no bad reaction to the earrings. I like that. They are also still cute!

You can't call in and speak to someone you can't call in and get your prescription, everything is online and for grandmother sometimes these things are difficult. I would need to speak to someone. The young lady I spoke to the day was not very nice or friendly and kept me on hold for 20 minutes. It was not appreciated. There are some good doctors there still but the service is not the same.

He is full of medical facts and knowledge but is also silly enough to make the kids feel at ease. Since I have a daughter, she seems to enjoy having a female check her out and Dr Hlobik has also been amazing - understanding and compassionate. They are very responsive and kind to frazzled first time parents. The nurses and staff have also been great. They remember my daughter and joke around with her. It is a welcoming and pleasant experience, even in bad circumstances.

I called to make an appt. for my kids ( new patients/ PPO insurance ) and they told me I have to fill out all the paper work and returned to them. So I did it!. I went there personally one month after, and the front desk "deny" to make an appt. because I need to transfer the records of my kids to their office. I explained that Im making the first appt.( well visit ) because I would love to meet the Dr. first, and It would take another 3 weeks to get the records of the kids so it would delay the visit....She did not care at all! This person even told me that the wife of the Dr. would call me/ She was out of the country... It never happend! Don't loose your time. There are better offices and Dr's in this area! His previous pediatrician never took the time to listen to my concerns about my sons respiratory issues and always just prescribed an antibiotic for him and sent us on our way. I found Dr. Drake-Forte to be like a breath of fresh air, she listened to my concerns and explained that she was prescribing him an inhaler and was very knowledgeable on management of asthma. I can happily say that after being in Dr. Drake's care my child has been the healthiest he's ever been. Dr. Drake's knowledge in medicine and her compassion to help babies (and parents too!) will make any one feel secure in selecting her as their babies PCP. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a primary care pediatrician. The office staff is very pleasant and I never wait to long for my appointments. They also accommodate same day sick appointments which really helps! Nurses are very sweet and child friendly. Never feel pressured into any shots I'm not comfortable with.

After having my now 2 year old which is my first biological child I've run into some non serious medical issues that appear extreme to a first time mom of course and Dr. Drake-Forte has always made her self available whether over the phone or in office. She's always on point with her diagnosis. She's a great doctor with a great staff. She has made life so much easier and I could not thank her enough.
