A huge thank you to Frank McCoy, who is just awesome at what he does. What I appreciate most about Frank is how incredibly patient he is--not only with the patients he's helping to heal, but also with his staff as he leads them. The whole team is professional, down-to-earth, and really cares about your progress. On top of the great care, the facility itself is always clean and well-equipped. If you need physical therapy, Frank and his team are highly recommended.

I was referred to Spagnoli Physical Therapy several months ago because I was experiencing pain in…read moremy leg if I stood up for more than 20 minutes or walked a short distance. The pain was such that I would need to sit for a short while until I was able to continue with the activity. During my first visit, I was thoroughly evaluated, treated with massage and stretches and given stretching exercises to do at home mornings and evenings. Within one week after several treatments I saw improvement and have religiously continued to do my "homework" stretches. And now, I am able to stand endlessly and can walk miles without experiencing any pain. I want to thank the professional, knowledgeable, and friendly Physical Therapists, as well as the assistants, at Spagnoli Physical Therapy for enabling me to continue with my active lifestyle.

Best Nursing Home & Staff - St. James Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center…read more St. James is truly the best nursing home with the most caring and dedicated staff. My best friend always goes to St. James, and while my father is in another facility due to needing more supervision, I don't feel they care for him the way St. James cares for my friend. The attention and compassion at St. James are unmatched, and they even offer iPad calls, something many other facilities don't provide. The staff is amazing, and I truly believe that comes from strong leadership. The head of this facility, Cristen Wei, was our case manager years ago and was promoted to Administrator. Because of my loved one's needs, we have used this facility for years, and I can confidently say I love all of the staff and absolutely adore Cristen. She is the most patient, kind, and compassionate person, and it's clear that she has created a culture where the staff goes above and beyond for their residents. Thank you so much for everything you have done for Mike and me! We are forever grateful! Love always, Mike & Loriann

I had it for…read morethree days and was constantly spitting out globs and globs of mucous like there was no end to it and became a walking snot machine.) Went to see Dr. Xu of Stony Brook Acupuncture, he looked at me, asked me if I was afraid of needles, and put three needles in (two in my hand, one on my head.) Then he engaged me in a lively conversation for about half an hour before he asked me, "When was the last time you blew your nose?" I looked at the time, amazed, because I had not even thought about a tissue in all that time. Haven't had a recurrence and my normal seasonal allergies is even much less severe than usual. It was the bane of my existence and I guess, aside from not suffering from them as much any more, I'm saving money in kleenex tissues.

Stay away. While mills like Metro PT and Professional PT are popping up everywhere, here's a…read moreprivately owned practice you should avoid at all costs. The owner must be very difficult to work for as there are always new people working there and if you ask, " where's so and so ", it's always ' Oh, they're not here anymore '. It's a mill where the care is generally subpar, and you never get consistent care, always being treated by someone new. The care is generic at best. There is definitely something wrong with the owner, who appears to have delusions of grandeur. He constantly talks about himself as if he's God's gift to PT, but he really has very little hands-on talents, it's a modality-based practice with little or no hands-on treatment. I can do heat and stim, and ice myself at home. Once again, I strongly advise staying away from this weirdo and his subpar practice.
