Very nice people and they understood Bon's physical needs and gave us appointments 2x a week. So far Bon has liked the fact its 1 on 1 and they give her 1 hours worth of personal attention. I have been a patient at Spagnoli PT in Mastic since June 2023, after falling 2 stories, sustaining a polytrauma injury. Due to my injuries and having to learn to walk again, I felt that I needed additional therapy appointments, so my insurance covered 2 sessions per week and I supplemented 1 session per week via private pay. My insurance paid $40 per session and I was responsible for a $20 copy, for a total of $60 paid to the office per session. I paid $60 for the private pay additional sessions. Today, I returned to the office for a regularly scheduled appointment with a new prescription for a new modality. The office manager told me that they were not going to submit for the new modality to my insurance as "my benefit has been exhausted" and if I want to pay privately, they were increasing the rate to $85 per session. The office manager refused to submit the request to the insurance, stating that "other insurance companies reimburse more money" and I can no longer receive services at the office, despite the office being par with my insurance. I have completed over 150 visits over the past year and a half. I will notify Anthem, that the office is breaching their contract, denying patients access to care due to contracted rates. This is illegal. The owners of this practice do not value patients loyalty. The only positive comment I have relates to Erica, the PT, who is wonderful and helped me to restore function of my leg. read more

I was first introduced to physical therapy, 29 years ago for long term rehab from a MVA. Some years later, I again needed PT to rehab a total hip replacement. Because my prior experience with PT was medically professional and prudent, I was well aware of acceptable and non-acceptable forms of treatment. This time around, I needed a local PT office. After much searching, I choose Spagnoli Physical Therapy. My therapist was/is Erika Votruba. Besides my THR, I have been back to address other injuries (plantar fasciitis, repaired torn meniscus and shoulder tendinitis). The office is clean, well staffed and equipped. Appointment time and availability are accommodating. The consultation is medically and physically thorough. Everyone is friendly and compassionate. And, as with my prior knowledge of injury and the importance of proper physical therapy, Spagnoli is medically professional and prudent! My knowledgeable therapist, Erika keeps current about injury, movement, rehab and the healing process, in day to day life. She is kind, reasonable, understanding and extremely effective (and funny, which is so important when dealing with physical pain!!!). Honestly, I cannot say enough good about Spagnoli Physical Therapy, and Erika Vortuba. They are the best that our area has to offer. There is life after injury.
